It was a completely different and disappointing experience. Jose had his crew hand toss the grass seed and starter fertilizer, which used almost twice the seed than the seed company had calculated, and I believe he needed more starter fertilizer too. Lots of bare spots in my yard. Penas then used straw to cover the seed and that along with the soil used contained 3-4 different weeds and weird grass. I notified Penas about the problem, sent him multiple pictures and asked him to come and see. He never returned my call or came to see. No follow up and very bad customer service. I don't like writing this review, but I didn't like the service or customer follow up either. My yard will take a long time to fix and looks worse than it did. The web page for Penas Lawncare talks about how important their customers where to them. That is certainly not my experience. Just be careful if you use Penas Lawncare Services.

We had a leaky sprinkler head and some heads that were hiding behind bushes. When we bought the house the irrigation system was there but we had no idea how it worked or how to repair it. He showed up on time and him and his team got the job done. Our system is one we are very proud of now. Chris is fair honest and easy to talk to. His quote was spot on and there were no surprises. His team is amazing and great work ethic. Great communication throughout the entire process. Since then, his communication has been horrible, he has done no work other than drop a load of river rock in our front yard (it's been sitting there for 6 months). In his defense we did postpone the work for a month and ha half (September and some of October) while we had our house remodeled. However, that leaves 5 months of no activity from Keith or is team. I have repeatedly asked for our money to be refunded and his continued response is "That's not going to happen". The only way we even get a response from him is when we threaten to get a lawyer or bring up the subject of a refund. The BBB gives Georgia Yard Works an F, when we asked Keith about it he said it was disgruntled employees who left the complaints. I now know I should have listened to what they had to say, please do not make the same mistake we did. His estimate was reasonable for the work performed as well as the quality and care. His knowledge of the proper mowing techniques for various grass types reassured my selecting his services. Quinn also does power washing and handy man work which my wife showed interest in. Quinn is a go-getter and someone worth considering for not only yard work.

I cannot emphasize how impressed we are with the skill and precision of Dixie Arbor Care's crew and how they were able to manipulate the huge limbs and trees to come down right where they wanted them to and without damaging anything. Both my husband and I were in awe watching them work. They also stacked the tree trunks and limbs where we asked them to and cleaned up the yard prior to leaving. They charge a fair price and do a great job! I highly recommend them!! Simply the BEST!!!
