    Moldy cheese

Used this deli for catering and was overcharged for moldy cheese. Be careful and get pricing before giving any credit card info as they charged us without a invoice

this was my avocado upcharge? cmon... "Excellent choice" missing basil. also was expecting this to be a hot sandwich..

horrible horrible horrible. first of all, we got 3 'gourmet' sandwiches & a side of fry's and it was $61. the portion of fry's was pathetic for a large, and had no salt. grossly overpriced. 2 of our sandwiches were missing ingredients & i was charged for extra avocado which would be fine if i had gotten more than 2 pathetic slivers. i called to complain and they laughed an apology saying, 'so sorry, we forgot' and suggested we come back to have them ADD the missing ingredients. i'm not driving 20 minutes again for anything less than a remake + refund. do not effing go here. sick of places being ridiculously over priced and having horrible service + horrible quality food. if i could give 0 stars, i would.

I was really excited to get a delicious, healthy salad from this deli. We have been loyal customers for years getting their sandwiches and LOVE them. So, I thought it was nice to have healthier salad options. I ordered the Tuscan salad which includes grilled chicken, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, avocados and lettuce. I was very upset with the amount of ingredients that came in the salad - while the amount of grilled chicken was fine the rest was about less than 1/4 cup of mozzarella, less than 1/4 cup of roasted red peppers and two thin, small slivers of avocado and then about 4 giant cups worth of lettuce. This salad was over $10 but worth WAY less - it really was a waste of my money. I was really disappointed in the scant amount of ingredients and will NOT go back here again. Sorry Grateful Deli....you lost my service.

This place is ridiculously awesome for the North Fork. It's a few notches up from what we're accustomed to at local deli's. Like, avocado? Seriously? They are also quick and friendly. Woo!

Could live off the RBS. Better prices then the other deli's in town. Also recommend the meatball hero

I was in town for a bachelorette party weekend, we decided to have breakfast here. I ordered…read morethey're famous Chelsea and it was a great choice. The food was very tasty, the combination of the ingredients made the dish worthy. The eggs were over-easy and the bread absorbed it nicely. I would definitely recommend a trip to this little market if your in town. The market also had very unique organic products and the feel of it was very cute. I found Ezekiel cereal which I had never seen before. Overall great place.

They had a good sized menu with your breakfast/lunch staples, and they're extremely vegetarian friendly! I had the platter with eggs and potatoes and it was delicious. They have alternative milk such as oat milk, so if you have a dairy allergy then you're in luck. There are some tables and chairs if you'd like to sit down, and there's a small grocery store section with lots of allergen friendly and vegan food options for purchase. The service was quick however one of our orders was incorrect: One egg sandwich was supposed to have avocado and tomato and it came with just eggs. Just be sure to double check everything before you leave if you have a larger order. Otherwise, everything was delicious and very decently priced.

After having visited and thoroughly enjoyed the Stony Brook location multiple times, this was a…read morehighly disappointing experience. Popped in for a quick weekend lunch since they had visibly open tables and we were seated right away. The person who showed us to our table led the way, and then dropped menus and utensils in a booth and kept walking. As soon as we made our way through the small restaurant, the absolute filth of the place was the only thing I could focus on. There were food scraps and garbage littering almost every surface of the floor. Our own table had dirty napkins, crumbs and half spilled sugar packets underneath, and the bench needed a wipe down before I could sit. Condiments on the table were dirty and if you moved them, the table was covered with crumbs underneath so no one is moving the condiments to clean. The bathroom was equally disgusting and unkempt. Despite all signs pointing to that we should've left immediately, we were hungry and had been driving for awhile. The food/drink was nothing like the other locations we've visited. In my 20 years of ordering Mimosas, I have never before been asked if I wanted a single or a double. It's prosecco, not shots. I went for the single because my expectations were low, and was presented with a weird little lowball glass of pineapple juice and a jigger of prosecco. That is completely ridiculous to cut a serving in half and call it a "single". For $12 you can buy an entire decent bottle of prosecco, and probably at least three bottles of whatever cheap they're serving. It feels like a cheat not to get a full serving. I ordered the Bootlegger for my meal which is fried chicken, melted cheese, bacon and Russian dressing on a roll. It arrived on a tiny hamburger bun with no dressing. Our server came once to ask how everything was the moment the plates were set down, and left when I told her I hadn't tried it yet. It then took about 10 minutes to obtain a side of dressing once I noticed my sandwich was dry. It was edible, but definitely not worth ever having again. My husband ordered corned beef hash and eggs, which was a plate filled with boxed potato sprinkled with pieces of corned beef. Eggs were fine. We did not use any of the condiments since it was clear they hadn't been swapped out or cleaned, and really tried to get out of this dirty environment as fast as possible. Servers were all concentrated in the bar area, some on phones clearly not busy...so it makes one wonder why no one thought to sweep the floor or wipe down a table. The state of the dining room was truly disgusting and honestly surprising. Our server barely attended to us so we opted not to bring this complaint to her directly and judging by the demeanor of the other staff, there wasn't a manger on duty. The bigger problem here is that if the public-facing front of house can look that way, I can only imagine how the kitchen is kept. We will never return to this location and sincerely hope it can be brought up to the same standards as the others.
