She takes your name and tells the cook, please make this for (insert name here)". There's something very sweet to it all. Gone are the days of getting a sandwich for under $10 anywhere. Most sandwiches run from $ 11-14, but they're interesting, like a chicken cordon bleu. They do have a BLT for less and grilled cheese for under $6. I chose the turkey with mozzarella, bacon, and thousand island on a garlic roll and was really pleasantly surprised by how good it was. As far as a general store, there are really limited choices. There are maybe two cans of beans, one bottle of ketchup, a few candles sold by a local maker, but this place seems more of a a homey deli with other limited choices. I'll definitely be back!!

At 8am on off season, there wasn't anyone in sight. They had a huge menu inside. It was a tough choice but we decided for the Spicy Hobo and Bacon, Egg and Cheese both on salt bagels. I feel like I never get to see salt bagels anymore so it was an easy choice. I also saw the cucumber dill smear and I am OBSESSED with anything dill so I also ordered a pumpernickel with the cucumber dill as a later treat. So we ate the breakfast sandwiches fresh. Absolutely loved them. And the salt bagels were generously salted, boy was I thirsty haha Spicy Hobo has a hash brown inside and that was amazing. I ate the pumpernickel cucumber dill hours later and it held really well on the car ride. Overall, would go back!

Minuses: some staff not friendly, meats can be improved - they're a hit or miss (with many misses on the sale items). In general items are overpriced as the North Fork now caters to city folks with 2nd homes and charge city prices (higher priced than Nassau & western Suffolk Counties). North Fork markets have yet to realize they can retain more business which they lose to towns west of them as many people who would otherwise shop here, choose to shop elsewhere when they travel westward.

They had a good sized menu with your breakfast/lunch staples, and they're extremely vegetarian friendly! I had the platter with eggs and potatoes and it was delicious. They have alternative milk such as oat milk, so if you have a dairy allergy then you're in luck. There are some tables and chairs if you'd like to sit down, and there's a small grocery store section with lots of allergen friendly and vegan food options for purchase. The service was quick however one of our orders was incorrect: One egg sandwich was supposed to have avocado and tomato and it came with just eggs. Just be sure to double check everything before you leave if you have a larger order. Otherwise, everything was delicious and very decently priced.
