We looked at the menu ahead of time and were excited by the pea salad with watermelon radish and the calamari with cherry peppers. Unfortunately the salad came out with regular radish (big difference from watermelon radish). Just tell us ahead of time and we'd change our order - they said after the fact that they are out of the watermelon radish (the toasted corn was also soggy - seemed bagged or made from frozen). The calamari was good but was missing the cherry peppers - instead they had what seemed like jarred banana peppers instead. Again, not what was on the menu. I guess we were just disappointed when we were changed $22 for each appetizer that wasn't what was described on the menu. This kind of stuff is just lazy to me - it's not hard to serve what's described on your menu and if something ran out, tell us - we'd change our order. I think we'll take a pause on Ellen's for now. I hope this is read and these easy small changes are made as we'd love to come back for what's described on the menu. Positive notes - appreciated the ambiance and the service was proficient, no issues with our server.

We ordered several dishes to share so we could sample as much of the menu as possible. We started with a half dozen oysters featuring three different varieties. They were incredibly fresh, and we loved every one of them. The accompanying sauces were the perfect complement. From the Small Plates menu, we ordered the watermelon salad. It was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. Perfect for a warm summer evening. I especially loved the combination of arugula, fresh mint, and both yellow and red watermelon. The cocoa nibs were an unexpected touch that added wonderful texture and flavor. It's not something I ever would have thought to add to a watermelon salad, but it worked beautifully. I can't wait to order it again. Next came the Long Island calamari frito misto with rock shrimp. The lightly battered calamari and shrimp were perfectly crisp, and the addition of fennel added a unique flavor that elevated the entire dish. It was simply superb. We also shared the red crab tacos. There are three tacos per order, which worked out perfectly since each of us could enjoy one. This was another standout. I love crab but usually shy away from mayonnaise-based salads. Whatever they did with this crab salad completely won me over. It was light, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Long Island Duck BBQ, served with pulled duck, cheddar grits, and scallions, was another pleasant surprise. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was outstanding. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the creamy cheddar grits paired perfectly with the tender duck. It was another creative dish that showcased the kitchen's talent. We also ordered a side of baby spinach so we'd have a vegetable to round out the meal, and even that was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. When I say everything was exceptional, I truly mean it. Every dish arrived beautifully presented, at the perfect temperature, expertly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Our server, Jennifer Farino, kept everything running seamlessly despite all of our shared plates and courses. She was attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening even more enjoyable. My friends ordered Hugo Spritzes while I enjoyed a raspberry Stoli Cosmopolitan. The cocktails were outstanding as well. Kudos to the bartender! When it came time for dessert, we asked Jennifer to surprise us with her selections. While every dessert was delicious, my absolute favorite was the cinnamon sugar beignets with bourbon caramel dipping sauce. They were warm, light, and completely irresistible. I could eat them every day! In fact, I'd happily return just for those beignets. We originally had an indoor reservation, but when we arrived we were fortunate enough to be seated outside, where seating is first-come, first-served. It couldn't have worked out better. The weather was beautiful, making for a perfect summer evening. Even the background music was thoughtfully chosen and played at just the right volume, creating a wonderful atmosphere. From the food and drinks to the service and ambiance, everything about our evening at Noah's was exceptional. We all left saying the same thing: this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Noah's has truly set the bar high, and we can't wait to return.

The food was very good starting with the baked clams and mussels. The baked salmon and seared tuna dishes were well seasoned, moist and flaky, the salmon served over rice and asparagus. Found the food good, slightly under portioned compared to other establishments but reasonably priced. During dinner we enjoyed listening to the band ( Radio Flashback) which we had seen previously. Overall a pleasant evening at Windamere enjoying some good food and drinks while listening to some great music. Although there is inside seating I'd recommend the outside patio area. We started with the fried calamari and baked clams, followed by the lobster rolls - one hot and one cold - so we could each try half of both. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The baked clams were overcooked and very dense with bread and cheese, making it difficult to really taste the clams. The fried calamari were what I would describe as "extra crispy"--in reality, they were over-fried. The lobster rolls were just okay. They weren't bad, but they weren't particularly impressive either. At $20 each for the Tuesday special, they were probably worth the price, but not something we'd go out of our way to have again. The service, however, was the biggest disappointment. We waited a long time for our waitress to come over just to take our drink order, and then waited even longer for the drinks to arrive. At one point, we even had to ask the busboy where our waitress was. After we finished our appetizers, the dishes remained on the table throughout our lobster rolls. We had to ask several times for water and eventually had to request that the dishes be cleared. Where was our waitress? Absent for most of the meal. We ultimately had to ask for the check when she finally came over to clear the table. What made the experience even more noticeable was that the table next to us, with four women and a different server, appeared to receive excellent service. Their drinks and food were ordered and delivered efficiently throughout their meal. The setting is nice, and perhaps our experience was simply an off day. Got there and the place was packed. i guess this is the spot for Sunday Brunch for a lot of people, and I can understand why. We've been here numerous times, and almost always get Mary as our server. Food and drinks always come out in a timely fashion and she always checks on us. We decided on the Chicken Cutlet w mashed potatoes, and the buffalo chicken sandwich. We washed them down with a couple of Guinesses while watching the winter olympics, and we were ready for the storm. Always a great place to stop in for a bite, with a menu that has something for everyone.
