I am a hairstylist in the area and I have spoken to a lot of other Mom's who have had similar experiences as I did. I won't go into the details but the owner of this place is an extremely unprofessional and an unpleasant person. Three of my clients and my coworker have had negative experiences here. Some ending in withdrawing also. The owner is disrespectful and aggressive with the parents. She has lots of personal issues that she involves her employees in. The girls that worked there were very nice, but I could see there was tension and strict inconsistent verbal abuse from the owner. If she is the owner, then her actions and attitude are a representation of the integrity of her establishment. I withdrew my child properly and waited the two weeks. But I would not go back. Although, my toddler loved her teachers there. They do not provide lunch for the kids and charge more than most daycares around. We have been at a daycare close to this one for two years now and we are so very happy. They are like family.

They told me there were several openings however I was required to tour the facility no more than thirty days prior to her attending. Ok, even thirty days before was annoying bc my work needed an answer but whatever. So I showed up May 3, (a little less than thirty days) for my tour. The lady at the front said she tried to call me to let me know the owner decided she would no longer hold spots for people regardless of paying registration fee. Ummm what?! How is anyone supposed to start a job if they don't have daycare lined up??? The front desk lady said I can call a day or two before I have to start working to see if there's a spot or not. That is absolutely horrible to put a working parent in that kind of position. But the front desk lady let me know the owner didn't want to save my spot for thirty days because she didn't want to loose out on money if another child wanted to attend this month while she saved my spot. Ok whatever since money is so important and not customer service I'll look elsewhere. I've never heard of a daycare not holding ur spot with a paid registration fee. Even when I was pregnant we put the registration fee down at a different daycare facility months before even having the baby so she was guaranteed a spot so I could work. Response to owner: 1. I know you're very concerned about the daycare my child was in so just to inform you, they were full in July but did pre-register her for August (that means they're holding her spot from May-August)! 2. I wasn't told I could call weeks before to see if there were spots, the lady said a few days before. Besides, with your horrible policy who cares if I called "weeks" before clearly you wouldn't reserve a spot and all spots could've been gone the next day regardless according to you. 3. Shouldn't have wasted my time to even look at your school if it was already full-- hence me calling prior to tour. Maybe you will have less "teachers kids" in the summer due to summer break and you could've made a profit off of my child attending. Oh well overall it's best my child doesn't go there, it's clearly just a business.

What really stands out is the staff--every teacher we've interacted with has been attentive, caring, and genuinely invested in the kids. My Experience With KinderCare -- Please Read Before Enrolling…read more This establishment has honestly been one of the worst experiences I have had to deal with while becoming a mother and caring for my nephew. My mother was murdered on April 18th of this year, and I had to step in and obtain custody of my nephew. His biological mother also passed away on May 21st. During this extremely difficult time, I was dealing with grief, family responsibilities, foster/kinship licensing, classes, and trying to make sure my nephew was properly cared for. When I registered him with KinderCare, I specifically asked multiple times whether there would be a copay based on what the county subsidy voucher covered. I explained that my funds were extremely limited and that, if I had a copay I could not afford, I would need to find another childcare location. I was repeatedly told that there would be no copay and that the county subsidy would cover everything. Based on that information, I enrolled my nephew and continued using the center. Then, approximately a month and a half later, I was presented with a balance of around $1,000. I was extremely upset because I had specifically asked about this before enrolling and was told there was no amount I would have to pay. When I explained the situation to management and what I had been told when I signed up, I was told that the employee who enrolled me had not been properly trained and that the manager had not been there at the time. The site director eventually told me that the balance would be removed and gave me one week to find another school if I was not going to pay tuition. I followed those instructions and made arrangements to move my nephew to another childcare provider. Despite that, KinderCare continued keeping my child in their system and continued charging the account. I had difficulty getting anyone to return my calls, and eventually the communication I received was from a collection agency attempting to collect the balance. After months of dealing with this, the situation was finally resolved. But the amount of unnecessary stress this caused me and my nephew during an already devastating period of our lives was unacceptable. There were also concerns regarding how some staff handled my nephew's personal care. One teacher told me that she had been pulling his foreskin completely back while caring for him. I noticed that this was irritating him and causing redness. I researched the proper care of an uncircumcised child and became concerned that this was not appropriate. I immediately addressed the issue with the teacher and asked her to show me exactly what she had been doing so that we could make sure there was no misunderstanding. I clearly asked that she stop pulling his foreskin back. I also experienced situations that I felt added unnecessary emotional stress. There were comments and implications about whether my nephew should participate in Father's Day activities, which was especially hurtful given everything our family had recently experienced. There were also suggestions that I should bring additional food for my child, even though providing food had never been a problem. Overall, I felt that my family was not treated with the understanding or compassion that I would have expected, especially after explaining the circumstances surrounding my nephew and our family. I am sharing my experience because I believe parents and caregivers deserve to know what questions to ask before enrolling their children and should carefully review exactly what their childcare subsidy covers and whether there are any additional charges. The staff does a great job at communicating with the parents and the appearance of the campus was always stellar. The school also has a good amount of space for outdoor activities (when it isn't 115F). But regardless the classrooms are a great size and accommodating. They never gave the run around about anything. The patience they have is something I wish I could bottle-up and take home. My oldest son attended kids r kids for 6 months, and then I pulled him out due to my maternity leave. After 3 months, I brought him back along with my new second baby. The first 6 months, I didn't have much concerns. Yes, he was constantly sick, he even contracted impetigo at one point from a classmate. But, this is daycare and at the age where everyone was putting things in their mouths. He did constantly have reports of other children bitting him, which my husband and I were very patient with. The assured me that they had talked to the parents, etc. He had a great teacher that showed him lots of love and I had great camera access. We had good rapport with the front office. We were never late to pick up our son. We always paid in full, on time. We did not complain. We complied by all the rules. We were flexible and understanding. Fast h to when we bring the babies back from my leave. My son was moved to a new classroom. Before coming back, I had a conversation with Mrs. Cindy about my concern for the transition, as my son was not verbal yet. On day 2 of returning, I get stopped as I was leaving the facility from pick up. I get handed a pamphlet by Mrs. Donna and get told that my son needs evaluation. She starts talking to me about autism and aspergers. I call my husband, he tells me I must've misunderstood. The next day, I come in and talk to his new teacher. Who tells me he doesn't follow instructions. That he doesn't play right. I talk to mrs. Cindy. She tells me that he's 2 and it's alarming that he puts his hand in a cup. My husband and I, are not closed minded people. We immediately make him and appointment for evaluation services. We call them at the daycare, we ask them to see if they are willing to help us, since they are watching our son full time. They swear they are here to help, that they are not going to kick us out. Fast forward to a week and a half later, mrs. Cindy refuses for an evaluator come work with our son at the facility. pulls me into the office the ne t morning and ask that I withdraw my children. There's no openings at any other daycare, but they want us out as soon as possible because he's too much for them to handle. They run their rooms at state minimum, and you would think that for the amount they charge, they could afford to hire more qualified people. Mrs Donna tells me that the initial teacher has been fired due to her impatience, but yet my son was the issue ? Because and administrator, went in to change diapers, and my son stuck his hand in the toilet ? Because you have a room of 8+ 2 year olds and you think it's ok to leave doors unlocked, and my son walked out of one due to you were inattentive? My husband calls the director, Michael, who tells him he's a children's psychologist and my son has some sort of auditory processing disorder. Question of the day: how many times did any of you spend observing the classroom ? Making sure your staff was doing it's best and not put the blame on a 2 Year old? We were watching the cameras like hawks after day 1, I saw mrs Cindy enter 3 times for less then 2 minutes and Michael entered not even once. Mind you, my newborn, was sat in a vibrating chair or a swing 90% of the day. Bare minimum stimulation and tummy time. Another mom I knew had to keep calling them to ask if they could please give her son tummy time, because on the cameras she could only see that he was sitting. My son never had autism or behavioral issues. Turns out, he had fluid in his ears and couldn't hear. He's now excelling. But kids r kids didn't have the time or patience to deal with it, despite the $2000 I was forking our every month. At the end, we take them to a new place. Find out what a true daycare is like. Milestone tracking. Education. Schedules. Lunches and breakfast that they enjoyed. Complete opposite of this place. I can only thank this place for kicking us out. My children couldn't be happier. Do yourself a favor, literally any other place will be worth your money. Adults who blame children - always a bad sign.
