Graton spa is such a gem!! I've been maybe 5-6 times total and every single time is absolutely amazing. I usually celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day there. You can stay there all day and use the facilities (and pool) with any service. The customer service is always top notch and I've never had a bad massage or facial. Always 10/10. I just recently went last weekend for Mother's Day with my bestie. The whole spa area part of the hotel and is set back from the casino. Quiet. No smell of smoke at all. The men's and women's lockers rooms are separate and each one has a huge jacuzzi, steam room, ice room (my favorite) sauna, lockers and bathrooms/showers and the tranquility room. There is always a spa attendant making sure you have everything you need and everything is clean and stocked/perfect. You can use their outdoor pool/jacuzzi area the whole time you are there too. There is a bar at the pool with food options and servers out there too. This last time I went I had a relaxation massage with Kyle and he was absolutely amazing. It was one of the best massages I've had. I'll definitely be requesting him next time I go. The cost of things are somewhat more expensive than like massage envy or perfect day spa, but not too bad compared to most fancy spa/resorts in Sonoma county. And getting use of the facilities and pool the whole day (until close at 7pm) makes it's absolutely worth it. I went to another very fancy spa/hotel in Healdsburg for a massage last year and it was nice and very fancy , but Graton spa and facilities was 10x better (and cheaper!) This spa and salon is such a hidden gem at Graton. I do not know how long it has been around and I saw it on my last trip to Graton so I decided to try it out. I do not know how busy it normally gets so I decided to book a hydra facial and keratin treatment 3 weeks in advance and I am glad I did because they ended up closing early for an event. Hostess/front desk: First impression: So warm, inviting and I wish I had gotten her name. The spa is well lit, smells amazing and I love the turquoise color scheme. She took me to the women's locker room. Locker room: There I was provided with a locker, robe, sandals. You can put the robe over your clothes if you want to. The toilet seats have automatic seat covers that I have not seen in a long time. There is a sauna and pool. I did not use these facilities but am planning to. Towels are provided and you can even get mouth wash. I started out with the hydrafacial by Alexis. She is friendly, beautiful and skin looks amazing, which is what I look for in an esthetician. My face looks amazing. I wish I had added the eye treatment but maybe next time. I really should have just added all of the add ons. I did not look at my face until I sat for my hair appt and WOW, my skin looks amazing. Tranquility Room: I waiting in this room my keratin appointment. There I met a wonderful, kind worker named Marta. She took wonderful care of me while I waited. This room has turquoise seats, water and coffee. You can also wait in here for your facial, hair appointment, and massages. Keratin treatment: Chiharu was fabulous. A beautiful Japanese woman who was very knowledgeable about my hair treatment. She was also fantastic conversation. She always made sure I was well hydrated. My hair looks great. Dyson hairdryer, YES! Everything here was quality from the products to the tools to the treatment. The prices for services are comparable to San Francisco but with a humble and warm staff at all times. The spa is free to use for resort guests but I wish the treatment counted towards reward points. I LOVE coming to this spa! My usual is a 60-minute CBD Pedicure and a brow wax. The CBD Pedicure is really enjoyable. The CBD itself is high quality. It comes in this cute little dropper bottle with enough to enjoy during the pedicure plus some extra to take home. All the products used during the service are also high quality. This service also includes a relaxing leg and foot massage. Back in the day they used to offer Deborah Lippmann polishes. Now I don't know what the brand they use is but I'm not crazy about it so I just bring my own. Since starting to come here regularly, my eyebrows look the best ever. I'm so happy that I'm able to come here on a regular basis as there is no spa near where I live and I really prefer going to a spa rather than a local nail salon. The spa also has a great little shop with all kinds of thrilling spa products. It's obvious that whoever does the buying for the shop has put a lot of thought and expertise into what they carry. I highly recommend spending all day here when the sun is out, so you can enjoy the pool and/or relax poolside and order drinks/food. Daily Grill provides the poolside nosh for a decent price while enjoying the amenities of this lovely mini Vegas-style resort. Although, not a huge fan of casinos due to cigarette smoke, I like how Graton thought of this resort spa for locals and tourists to indulge in some luxury spa time. Hubby and I arrived around noon to relax, and we were greeted warmly by the ladies up front, and taken back to our respective areas to change and hang around 'til it was time for our massages. I like how the men and women are separated, so if one chooses to get butt naked in the hot tub, not so awkward. One can wear a bathing suit, which I chose to do, you're welcome HA! I went back and forth from hot tub to sauna, then to the outdoors pool. The waiting area offers complimentary water and tea, a flatscreen TV, and fresh fruit. Our masseuses did a fabulous job; we fell asleep of course. Hubby upgraded to the hot stone therapy for an extra charge, and he loved every moment of it. She focused on the areas that I requested, legs, back, and shoulders. She also gives a relaxing head rub zzzzzzz. They give you a luxurious robe and slippers to use while there. The robe was a little heavy for me but I'm warm blooded, especially after using the Jacuzzi. The place is decked out - the men and women's locker rooms have their own Jacuzzi, Sauna, Ice Room (40F), and Steam Room. You can go in clothed or Naked. When I was there it was desolate - midday during the week. There is a tranquility room to chill out before and after your massage which offers complimentary bottled water, lemon water, and a trail mix while you lounge on comfortable chairs with ottomans. You can read or watch tv. And they do offer a cocktail list with wines by the glass at your leisure. Nice selection. Then the therapist comes to get you, walk you into the massage room and start on your body healing. It was a great massage for 50 minutes deep tissue. I had such a fun and relaxing girls day at the spa. I usually eat at one of the restaurants or play a few slots when I swing by Graton so this was a nice change. I recently attended a private pool party and explored the new wing of the casino including the hotel and spa. I was really excited to come back for a spa day. My girlfriend and I booked mani and pedi's. After checking in, we got to use the lockers to put our belongings away and change into a robe and sandals. The staff invited us to enjoy the amenities when we were finished since they were still open. We were whisked away by Veronique and Dao who took such great care of us. They even helped us decide on colors. Veronique is incredible and very personable. She checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and offered snacks or something to drink. My friend ordered a glass of wine from the bar while we were getting pampered. The facility is immaculate! Everything is kept clean and organized. I've never used a steam room or ice room before- highly recommended! The sauna was not in service at the time, but I will be returning maybe for my Birthday or another girls day and can use it then. I knocked off a star because of their mandatory 20% service fee. I hope they sort this out soon. read more

The only reason I am giving this place one star is because of the horrible customer service we received at the end. I was harassed by the staff to pay our bill when our card was already on file and we had already left a cash tip. My mom was the one who made the reservation and had her card on file, so for them to come and harass me (her daughter) while I was in the pool was really appalling. One spa staff member (a guy) was being extremely rude to me as I was walking with him to pay. I was going to turn around to go get someone else to deal with because I wasn't going to be treated in that manner, but he grabbed my arm and told me I needed to come pay the bill!! He was upset because the spa closed 10 minutes prior. There's NO reason to get that upset it was weird honestly. Contacted the spa GM and supervisor and did not receive an apology at all. Eva is an absolute angel!!! Although this place is pricey $$$, it's worth it. My sister-in-law and I checked in for our appointment early, we were greeted by Katie. She walked us in to the facility showed us the locker room, showers, and all the amenities. There were a lot. Katie was absolutely friendly and pleasant, from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out. They have a pool (which we didn't get to use because it was raining last Friday 03/25/17), jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, ice room, and of course they have a separate waiting room if you are waiting for your appointment called the "women's tranquility room." This room is basically a waiting room for whatever service you are waiting for. There are chairs, a tv, all types of waters, tea, oj, and snacks (different nuts). We didn't wait long at all before our therapists came and got us. If you ever want to get a massage, definitely ask for Eva. She is this cute tiny woman, that has a lot of strength and power in her hands. I had lots of knots in my back and tension in my shoulder area and she got it out. She's amazing with her hands. I got the hot stone massage, that included a facial and all, it was great. But, those hot stones were definitely hot. I think Eva did such a great job, that I think at one point,I might've even fell asleep on her. She's so cute, tiny, and soft spoken. The room we were in smelled really good, and just the whole environment was definitely relaxing. Next time I get a massage here, I will also have to get a room as well because after all that you don't want to leave. Am I still in Rohnert Park? As soon as I stepped into the Spa at Graton, I felt as if I was transported to another world! To start, I booked a head and choose the hot rocks massage! Booking online was really simple and easy to book and got a confirmation email within 24 hrs. My Massage was amazing and the massage therapist was absolutely one of the loveliest women that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She truly brought me mental and emotional relief. It was a wonderful way to start my weekend. The amenities are amazing! They have a dry sauna, steam room, ice room, hot tub and shower amenities! And complete access to the beautiful outdoor pool! And they sandals, deodorant, moisturizers, robes, blow dryerers, curling irons. The spa attendants are friendly and accommodating and you're given a tour before your service. What a relaxing sanctuary hidden within the walls of the casino. I have to say I hate to gamble so it's just not my scene to even be at the casino so this was a welcome surprise. We arrived just shy of 15 minutes early for our massages; checked in and were offered the menu for add ons the therapist can offer during the massage. I opted for the eye collagen mask to incorporate during my massage. They suggest you arrive earlier and I would too; I felt rushed to get changed and ready for pick up in the tranquility room. Once dressed down and robed up I met my masseuse, Lena, came to greet and bring me back to my room for the next 45 minutes of bliss. I ordered a deep tissue and she had range of pressure to offer so I didn't feel pulverized but felt the pressure needed to hit the spot. She was a tiny gal that packed a big punch. I don't do professional massages often so this was a lovely treat. After the massage you have access within the gender specific locker room to use the private showers, jacuzzi, sauna, ice room, and steam room before getting dressed to head back into the real world. read more

It was kinda weird how the woman on the phone was so anxious that I show up. (Lots of cancellations?) She also took my credit card information upfront which I've never had happen before. THE SPA: The spa is unbelievably clean. And EVERYTHING IS SANITIZED! The decor was beautiful - very relaxing, yet modern and chic. They have a locker room with digital locks, a beauty area with blow dryers, hair sprays, spray deodorants - the works! The showers are great and have all the amenities you could ask for - except a towel or swimsuit hook inside the shower. Very high end! There are plenty of thick, plush robes and extra-large, thick towels. They have a "spa room" with a large jacuzzi, a Steam room, an ice room (awesome cold mist!) and a sauna. Tried all of them - many times! I want to go back!!!! The tranquility room where you wait for your masseuse has a television, hot tea, iced lemon water, bottled water and apples. If it's after 11am, you can order glasses of wine or cocktails. (I seriously need to go back.) If you go early, your treatment allows you all-day access to the fitness center, the pool, and the poolside jacuzzi - in addition to the saunas! I will definitely plan for a girl's spa day with my friends. Okay, now for the services . . . THEY WERE AWESOME!!!! I had a 50 minute relaxation massage with Susanna. She was EXCELLENT!!! The massage was heavenly. I especially liked the scalp massage. I almost fell asleep. Downside: 1) Prices are very high. More than double what other places charge. (However they have so much more to offer!); 2) It's hard to book appointments, and you have to go to the gift shop to buy gift certificates; and 3) There are no hooks for clothes or robes in the showers. My biggest beef however, is that I would have liked to order breakfast (fresh fruit?) and a Bloody Mary, but no one was working in the pool area. The attendant, Angie, was exceptionally helpful and kept an eye on me - constantly asking if I needed some water or a towel. I tipped her $5 when I left. She really made my experience an outstanding one. Note: I also tipped $10 more to my masseuse (on top of the 20% service charge). Susanna was so damn good! I should have tipped her more, but with an already tacked on 20%, it seemed excessive. I've had massages at resorts around the world and this was definitely in the top 4. The only word to describe this place is classy. It is an upscale casino, convention center and hotel. The amenities are plentiful and first class. The staffing is always there for you with a smile. The Casino, hotel, and convention facility are separated for keeping the noise to a minimum. The smoke from players is wonderfully mild, so the are using state of the art air filtering. The food in the Casino and the always favorite buffet is as expected with all the trimmings. The casino has ton's of machines and tables. And is very busy. The rooms are from upscale to elegant. Clean, comfortable, and stylish. Most have a view of the surrounding area over fields and hills. Suites include a sumptuous bathroom that is big enough to relax with your morning routine. Or you can visit the shops or SPA. The conference facility is massive. They will host almost everything there. Ballroom dancing to Corporate events. They also take care of the catering and bar as well. The Pool and bar area in the middle is so cool. Outdoor Queen size beds poolside where one may lounge. Stationary lush water floats to sunbathe on. Little tent roof covered areas over other poolside beds to relax on out of the sun. There is a great bar and also pop up mobile bars as needed. I had a wonderful massage with Suzanna at the spa! I'm a pretty tough critic since I use to manage a high end spa and she was fantastic! Highly recommend her for deep tissue! I book treatments for my husband and I for his bday. The woman's locker room/steam room/ cold shower/ sauna/ hot tub was amazing! The attendees made sure I was comfortable and always offered me cold water. After my massage I spent at least an hour relaxing and going from the hot tub to the cold shower and which was my favorite! The refreshing ice you can rub on yourself to cool off was exhilarating along with the cool misting shower. After we enjoyed the Spa we received free pool passes and had lunch by the pool with bloody marys. We continued our amazing day lounging by the pool and swimming in the salt water heated pool. It was perfect! Definitely felt like we had left Rohnert Park and were in Vegas ...just a lot less crowed and wayyyy more relaxing! The boys and I stayed at Graton for one of their birthdays. As a perk of staying at Graton, you can use the facilities in the spa. Two of us stopped by on Friday, March 24th around 9:30am. The amenities are separated by gender, so the females have their own set while the males have their own. (I believe they both have the same amenities?) There was a hot tub, steam room, sauna, ice room, and a room to lounge in with snacks and drinks (of the non alcoholic sorts of course). I just chilled in the hot tub for a bit and took a shower afterwards as I had to wait for the boys (well, boy in this case). The spa provides towels, flip flops, robes, etc, so you don't have to bring any down as there are lockers to keep all your stuff as well. A nice, relaxing way to spend the morning. Definitely check out the spa if you are staying at Graton. read more

What can I say to describe this experience beside OMG? I don't know, as that's the only thing that comes to mind! From the moment we walked in until we left the facility we were treated as if we were the only guests there. My friend & I decided we both needed a massage to get rid of the build up of stress from the everyday hustle and bustle of work, traffic, bills, family, friends, live, etc., so off we went to try out the Graton Resort Spa. To use any of their premium services (massage, facial, hair salon, etc.), you need to make an appointment. You can do this online or by calling. I called as my friend & I were trying to get as close in times together as we could as we didn't want the other to have to wait. There are many upgrades, add-on and specialty packages to choose from or you can just choose a single item such as a massage or hair cut. My friend opted for the Relaxation Massage, while I scheduled a Deep Tissue Massage. With any service you book you get access to all of the facilities so we arrived early to check in & take advantage of the steam room, dry sauna, ice bath and relaxation lounge. You also get access to the indoor jacuzzi. While we relaxed in the relaxation lounge we each got called in to our schedule appointments. My massage therapist was Susanna and all I can say is she is a miracle worker! I've had deep tissue massages from various places and some dig so deep into your tissue that you swear they are trying to dig clear through to China and when you're done you don't feel relaxed or good at all but rather like someone ran you over with a truck. But not Susanna, she works magic! And the eucalyptus oil that she used was very calming & refreshing. Throughout the massage she would check to make sure that I was ok and that the pressure wasn't too hard. I seriously was on the verge of falling asleep because I was so relaxed. Susanna did not rush through the massage, in fact she took a little longer than the scheduled time which I did not realized until I went back into the relaxation lounge where my friend was waiting for about 10 or so minutes. If you are in need of some "me" time and a little relaxation, schedule a massage at Graton Spa and request Susanna. And if you have the time make sure take advantage of the rest of their amenitities like the jacuzzi, outdoor pool, dry sauna, etc., because you deserve it! read more

I'm giving two stars because I was having a very relaxing time in the sauna/steam room prior to my massage, but it went downhill from there. I didn't get the name of the therapist, it was hard to pronounce/understand with his accent and I'm unfortunately not great with names to begin with. I had several issues with my service. At the beginning, he asked if pressure was alright, and it was at the time, so I said so. However, the technique was lacking. I don't claim to be an expert on technique, but I have had many massages over the years and it just didn't FEEL right... but I thought maybe it would get better. Oh, I was wrong. The pressure faded within 10 minutes and it seemed like so did his attention. At the end, I contemplated ending it mid-massage because I wasn't enjoying it at all, but my inner people pleaser couldn't bear to embarrass the man or myself. It felt completely lackluster, like an application of body oil without any oomph. To top it off, I had asked for special attention to my hamstrings as they had been feeling tight, and I only got one side worked on (and it was disappointing anyway). I won't be returning. I've been here a ton of times but always have such mixed feelings I never know how to rate it. This past visit on Saturday with some girlfriends, however, made me realize this place ISN'T worth the money. I'd rather spend my money in Calistoga at a real spa that really cares about the overall experience. Positives: -Great amenities (sauna, steam room, and Ice room are very enjoyable) *You used to be able to get any service (even a waxing or manicure and use the facilities, they don't allow that anymore) Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me. Negatives: -Staff: the attendants are always loud (no hushed spa voices here). I've also seen an attendant offer to take selfies in the hot tub for guests (personally I think allowing cell phones in a clothing-optional spa is insane but there's always people on their phones). -Overall feel: if I'm going to spend $200 on a massage I want to relax. Women get loud in the spa area and aren't asked to keep it down. I just think higher quality training needs to go into the people who work here. I've had two massages here and both times different masseuses have chatted my ear off and complained about how crappy it is to work there. Really makes you feel like garbage. There was also a group of women getting ready in the spa locker area and used a ton of perfume. I got an instant migraine. -Price: I spent $200 (massage+service fee+tip) on a deep tissue massage that lasted 40 minutes (and that's a generous time approximate because I timed it from the moment she left the room for me to get on the bed and when she left the room for me to get up). I shouldn't be docked because she was running late. Then when I went to pay I was surprised they add on a service charge but still ask how much I'd like to leave for a tip. Overall: not worth the money. It's a shame because they COULD be a 5-star spa but don't seem to care. read more

For the price of the massage, I would not recommend this Spa. One star because I had to and one star because it was clean and new. I got a deep tissue massage this week but the massage therapist focused more on scrubbing me with a brush than the actual massage. (I did a scrub add on but it was a waste of time.) There is a 20% mandatory service fee for the spa facility attendant, but there was no one to help me in the facilities and the lockers don't work. They don't offer Tea but if you want it, they can get it at the restaurant for you. And you have to pay. For a massage that is over $100, I cannot believe there is not complimentary tea that comes with it. Huge disappointment for this hotel. read more

I was here a few weeks ago and was completely surprised and delighted at how high end this felt from beginning to end. I've had the lucky pleasure to have gone to some amazing spas from NYC to LA I love facials and Pedicures and just soaking in a nice hot spa. I was greeted with a smile and the young gal telling me, I was about to be pampered, I changed in the locker room btw girls and boys separated FYI "me" I say thank goodness! I happily soaked in the spa, since I showed up early and was told I could hang out in the spa all day till they closed if I was so inclined and boy was I first I got an amazing relaxing pedicure and ordered some champagne then got back in the bubbly spa only outside by the pool this time and relaxed some more, then ordered food from the Daily Grill from a phone next to the bar. Then off I went to get one of the best facials I have ever had! I kept falling asleep so embarrassing but so wonderful! I spent a very relaxing day here with my sisters for One of their birthdays. The staff was super nice and accommodating, the masseur was great, and the facility it self is modern and relaxing. This places is a bit pricey but worth it. The only reason I left out a star is because they really need a relaxation room where people can rest and nap between services and using the facilities. read more

Spa day? Yes please if you are anything like me I have a hard time making time for Myself. Today was amazing, first off I was so hesitate to come use my gift card because I wasn't sure what to expect at a hotel. To my surprise lots of amenities, showers (all the supplies needed to shower) it's clean. Staff is friendly My massage therapist introduced himself (Richard) and after hearing he been doing this for 20 years my nerves started to calm down a tad. He was amazing super friendly, very professional and explained what and where he would be working, asked my problems areas and to my surprise I feel 1000 times better then I felt I'm so long. I already can't wait to come back! This is the perfect place for a girls spa day Hot tub- steam rooms/ sauna/ massages you can order drinks ... shower and spend the day relaxing away!
