Gentle melodies played quietly in the background during our session, but the ticking of the clock was loud and a bit bothersome in our massage room. The decor and setting was clean and simple. I loved the comfy face hole pillows on the massage beds, which felt like a soft memory foam type of material. Our masseuses were in and out of the massage room, leaving the room at least 3 times combined during our session to help other customers outside of the room (I know this because it happened every time the door bell to the entrance rang). This doesn't count the times they left for hot towels. We asked for hard pressure for both of us, but my bf's masseuse did a better job at it than mine. His massage bed had bars hanging from the ceiling which was used for back walking. For my treatment, there were moments that felt like my masseuse applied deep tissue strength, but the pressure wasn't consistent, and she didn't really work on my knots. I did appreciate that she did a thorough job on my feet though. That was probably the best part of my full body massage.

After my massage was over, I met back up with my SIL and sister. My sister seemed kind of unhappy and when I asked why, she said that she had booked her treatment for cupping and an intense massage but that isn't what she got. She didn't want to make a big deal about it. My SIL eventually went to the front desk and after awhile got it sorted out that they had a system error in their booking. They could still offer my sister the cupping but we'd have to wait a bit to do it. It was good that she was able to do the cupping but disappointing that her relaxing had to be disrupted and we ended up being there longer than anticipated and had to move some plans around. Overall it worked itself out and we still enjoyed our visit. They did a good job of handling the hiccup.

Will NEVER come back!! Lesson learned!

I've been going here for years for my massages and facials and am never disappointed! The staff is always so accommodating and the therapists are absolutely amazing. Kristi, Sandy, and Jaime are wonderful for massage and Michelle knows how to give the best facial. The girls at the front desk can match you with a therapist based on your preferences so your experience is always great. The facilities are also fantastic compared to other spas I've tried in the area. You get a cozy robe/slippers and locker before the treatment, then you can use the steam room/sauna/jacuzzi/shower and even the pool at the health club connected to the spa. I've read a couple reviews about bad management but have had no similar experience whatsoever. The manager, Gigi, is always so sweet and helpful and the front desk girls are very friendly. The staff are fabulous and friendly. I had a massage there last year and it was awesome! My only beef is with the manager there. She was rude and short with me. My appointment was scheduled for 5 pm and when I got a call confirming, they said I was not scheduled for that time but for another time that day. She made me feel as if it were my mistake and not theirs. She was just rude and short with me. I won't go back . Too bad because the massage was great. The lady was nice and my feet looked good but, I feel like if you are paying higher prices for a pedicure you should be getting more of an experience than when you go to the $30 nail salons. My friend had a great time with her services, although she did mention that it would be nice if the shower used for rinsing off the body scrub was a bit more upgraded--currently, it's tucked away in an odd room, which felt slightly odd. The overall experience was enjoyable and we will be back. The head spa treatment was my fav. I loved the scalp analysis, the cleansing, and especially the Therapeutic scalp massage. Honestly, I wish there were more head spa options like this in Sonoma County; they're seriously some of the best for relaxation and rejuvenation. ‍ What impressed me the most was the experience and the staff's kindness and attentiveness. She went above and beyond, working not only on my feet but also on my neck and back. I spend a lot of time hunched over a desk and don't get as much exercise as I should, and she immediately recognized where I was holding tension. She incorporated stretching and focused attention on those problem areas, and I left feeling absolutely amazing. If you pay cash, the one-hour foot massage is only $45--a fantastic value.
