I reached out to Summit Fence based on Angi reviews. They did not disappoint! Services and…read moreinstallation were quick and efficient, meeting my timeline. From Jacob's explanation of fences and measurements, to Natalie's communication, to Manual's installation, the process was seamless! I highly recommend their services.

I requested an estimate for an upcoming fence project that I need to take care of, and Summit Fence…read morewas the first to respond and arrive. Jacob was on time to the appointment, friendly, and took his time assessing our needs. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them, but unfortunately, fate had other plans. Jacob was unable to get back to me in a timely manner due to personal reasons. In the meantime, I decided to sign with another company to complete the work I need on my property. I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. While I cannot speak to the quality of their work because I did not end up hiring them, I am changing my review because I feel like the owner and Jacob reaching out despite already having lost me as a customer shows integrity and care that is lacking in many contractor businesses these days. I appreciate that they care, so it is only fair for my review to be updated to reflect that accordingly.

Upon initial inspection everything looked great and everyone was happy including CHAD and us…read more However we are having issues with a main handrail that is not attached to our home apparently incorrectly, and we aren't getting very promising results thus far in correcting this. Unfortunately execution and completion seems to be the biggest issues here. WE DONT THINK WE SHOULD BE ASKED TO KNOW HOW TO FIX A CONTRACTORS WORK? Perhaps more time should've been taken on the final walk-through checking everything by both CHAD and ourselves. We are grateful we don't have children as this could be a potential hazard and is definitely not feeling stable. We are willing to revisit updating this post again once everything being an issue is resolved. We are constantly being told our unfinished deck will be done and yet there is no action? ONE PROVIDER CAME OUT AND WE HAVE BEEN MESSAGED BY THEM, THERE ARE OPEN ISSUES WITH THIS COMPANY, AND HIM. We're glad to be talking with Chad via text but He sent the deck builder here on Friday4-12 -19 and none of the handrail spindles poor installation has been addressed ??? You can see our situation leaves us with less than stellar craftsmanship and putty covering where spindles are going to fall out? SPINDLES FINALLY FIXED - 1 HAND RAIL WAS OMITTED on that repair date. We are done asking for piecemeal fixes. WE FINALLY HIRED A HOME INSPECTOR OUTSIDE OF THE COST OF THIS DECK TO GIVE US SOME IDEAS WHAT CAN BE DONE GOING FORWARD TO INSURE ANY INSTABILITY ON THE HANDRAILS - but we're not inclined to say we would use ANY LABOR OR PROCESS PROVIDED BY ESCAPE TO RESOLVE THOSE ISSUES. We appreciate the opportunity to make sure the next time we have a fresh set of eyes on our deck the repairs will be done thoughtfully and hopefully most of the deck work will be salvageable if inspection transpires .

Chad conned me out of $3,400…read more One month ago he signed the contract with me to rebuild parts of my deck and cut down several trees. In total, Greenleaf worked on my project for about 5 hours over the course of those 30 days, and did not complete any of the work for which they were contracted. The pictures attached show how they left the property in complete disrepair. The lone tree they cut down actually fell on my house (because of their incompetence) before they left the remnants in my lawn. All of the handrails for my deck were cut off with a chainsaw, and 1/2 of the planks were unscrewed from the joists. That's where the work stopped. Obviously, the deck is completely unusable now, and is unsafe for the family to walk on. Chad refused to answer my phone calls after taking the check for the deposit. Instead, he occasionally responded to text messages with myriad excuses and lies about how his crew will be at the job site tomorrow or later today. I regret not googling the owner before signing the contract. If I had I would have found official complaints on record at the Better Business Bureau for this exact same behavior.
