There are not enough stars available for Keith and his team. From the time I called to quote to installation, less than a week! My floors are beautiful. I expressed to Keith that my 15 year old carpet was on my last nerve and wanted to move quickly. He made sure I was well taken care of. Southern classic flooring is the best price in town,too. I couldn't be happier with my results. The team that worked on my floors have amazing skills. The previous hardwood in the kitchen and foyer were glued down, and a bear to remove. We have used Southern Classic Flooring twice, once when we did a carpet to wood conversion in some rooms and most recently when our dishwasher leaked. We were extremely happy on both occasions. This most recent job included replacing some of the hardwoods, refinishing the whole first floor, replacing carpet with laminate in our basement and replacing and upgrading the baseboards in the whole house. This was a huge job and naturally there was a small punch list afterwards. Keith sent a crew over and the tackled it quickly. Keith and the team were very easy to work with all along the way. Let's start out with the single negative about this company. The owner is brash. I don't care. Did they do what they promised to do? Were their prices reasonable? Do the floors look great? The answer to all these question is "YES". During the process of refninshing our hardwoods, including a staircase, we had great contact with the project manager. The crew worked tirelessly for days. They finished on time. You could probably find another company that butters you up and does poor work while overcharging. In fact, I'd say most contractors we've dealt with fit that category. But for our flooring needs, Southern Classic will always get first consideration. read more

I called them before Christmas 2017 once and at least three times after Christmas to come out and stretch my carpet that they installed three years ago and they still have not called me back and never told me when they would come out to my house. So I had to call Flying Carpet Cleaners in Smyrna and they came out immediately to stretch my carpet and they did a great job!! read more

My experience started off well but the end result is horrible. I will have to replace my floors after the so called "buff and coat" they did to my existing engineered hardwood. There are places where the floor is actually peeling up and it looks like someone took a paintbrush and did the floor. I had to call numerous times to get someone back out and now it has been a week with no return call. They did show up when no one was home because they did not call me ahead of time. My floors look worse than they did before and we are so dissatisfied. I don't guess the company cares as they have not contacted me again. I would think twice before using this company. read more

Southern Classic Floors did in outstanding job refinishing my engineered hardwood floors. They look brand new again!

We have used Keith / Southern Classic Flooring for two different projects. He refinished existing hardwoods and installed new hardwoods in our ground floor . We couldn't tell the difference between the existing refinished wood and the new wood added to the previously carpeted areas and matching the stains perfectly. We were very pleased with Keith's crew , they were always on time and very professional and kept the areas clean and dust-free daily. We also used Southern Classic Flooring to replace the carpets on the top floor and we couldn't be more pleased. Great quality carpets and the work was completed in half a day. We were on a budget and Keith helped us to accomplish both projects without going over. We would highly recommend them. read more

I have a similar experience yesterday 2/9/17 as the reviewer on 3/14/16. In fact I was told the exact same thing to find someone else when I simply complained as to why he never bothered to show up or call when we had an appointment for an estimate. He advised that he simply forgot to write down the appointment and then maybe I should find someone else which I intend to. I will say he did call back a few minutes later and left a message offering to "drop everything and come over: but after waiting 2 hours it clearly is not a business that places any regard on the customer experience. They have great reviews on their website which is the only reason I even tried. Hope you have a better experience than I did. read more

My parents are buying a house in Atlanta. We called scf to see if they could give a quote on adding matching hardwood to a carpeted room during the home inspection. Things started kind of ok - the woman that came out was very knowledgeable about hardwoods, but needed to work on her social skills as she didn't think to introduce herself before asking me to show her the space. She told me and my family that they wouldn't be able to match the existing wood exactly (multiple times to the point where I asked if they didn't want to do the job) but she'd quote everything and bring a sample of the wood to my house ( I wanted a quote on refinishing my hardwoods) the following Monday at noon. Well noon came and went and at 1:40 I get a call from someone - didn't identify himself at first ( turns out the guy yelling at me for asking questions is the owner) he told me yet again they wouldn't be able to match 100%. I tell him we understand and that we're waiting on a quote and someone was supposed to bring me a sample so we could decide. He then snaps at me and says he doesn't know about that. I ask again if they don't want to do the job, he practically yells at me that he doesn't understand why I'm acting like this and says you know what I'm the owner and you need to find somebody else. I hear they're the cheapest in Atlanta but they are all odd birds- not with the haste. I'll take our thousands of dollars of business elsewhere. read more
