We decided we wanted to do a glacier and sightseeing tour, but all of the companies that showed up in our initial Google search were already booked. After a little more searching, we came across this company, and after reading the reviews, we decided to give them a try. The reviews were spot on. The whole experience was amazing. The glacier was absolutely beautiful, and seeing both humpback whales and orcas on the same trip was something we'll never forget. Leif shared great stories along the way, and both he and Emily were incredibly knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and local history. They were also just genuinely friendly and made the entire trip fun and relaxed. This ended up being one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable experience. 10/10!

Bill/Stan do a great job of exploring the fjord. Saw mountain goats, holgate glacier, sea otters, humpback whale, sea lions, Orcas. Great scenery. Nice Narratives. informative, but not non-stop babbling which we experiences on other excursions. It can be cool, so dress appropriately. They suggest a waterproof jacket and pants. Helpful to stop the wind, and in case it rains. There was no splash from the waters. The rain pants are not a necessity, however a waterproof/water resistant jacket is (unless the forecast shows no rain), but I doubt it. Overall very enjoyable, worth every penny. You won't be bored over the 9 hour span. Our cruise had 5 passengers so it was nice to talk with Bill/Stan and the other passengers. Highly recommended whether you are a cruiser, or just doing a land trip.

Comfortable rooms, plenty of deck space and a cozy dining area are just a few of the welcoming aspects. I'm a taller guy and their bunk beds were still plenty comfortable. Crew cooks up some fantastic meals and is great to talk to. I would recommend to any group of friends or family for a nice private venture out to Resurrection Bay.

Went on a Saltwater Safari Charter on Thursday Aug 5, 2021 and had a BLAST...! Captain Steve set…read moreus up on the halibut first thing in the am (after a 2 hr cruise out to the fishing area). The bite didn't start right away but slowly creeped up until the entire boat had their 2 halibut. No monsters but we were feeling good after hearing on the radio that some other boats were still looking for their first fish. Then we made a move to an area where the Rockfish were holding and we hit our limit after just a couple passes. Next stop was back towards Seward where we piled up to a well known spot based on all the boats around and OMG did we put those nets to work! Gotta give a HUGE shout out to Jeremy & Dalton- the best Mates we had all week. Those guys were always prepared with bait, a gaff or a net. This was our 3rd (& last) charter of the week, and as they say, saved the best for last. If you're considering a Charter, I'd call these guys first. Captain Louis worked with us ahead of time to plan a trip that the whole family would love -- a stop at Thumb Cove, picnic on Fox Island, and an incredible view of whale bubble netting in the bay. The trip out to the bay was smooth and boat very clean and comfortable, with life jackets for the kids. We loved our picnic and scenic walk on Fox Island -- kids, dog, and all! Very easy and save to get on and off the boat with our kids and small dog. After our picnic, Captain Louis navigated us to the most remarkable bubble netting whale watch, which felt like National Geographic (see the video here!), and was a highlight of our trip. We will definitely be joining Alaskan Coastal Safari again next time we visit Alaska, maybe for a fishing trip and Bear Glacier!

This was one of the most special things I've seen in my life. If you are in Seward, you need to see Bear Glacier and very few operators go there. Bear Glacier completely blew our minds. I know decades from now, I will still think about that time my husband and I went to Bear Glacier. Captain Louis also took us to see various wildlife: birds of all kinds, a humpback whale, otters, seals, and sea lions. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and the area. Captain Louis brought us to spots that the big tour companies don't go, which I really appreciated.
