Beautiful day for a tour in Music city (Nashville), saw so many great sights, our guide Joleen (believe it or not, like the song ,no relation to Dolly Parton) had so many funny anecdotes on this hour and a half tour ,she kept everyone laughing and was very informative. I highly recommend this tour to get the lay of the land before venturing out on your own journey.

I had someone in town who wanted to do the tourist thing. They wanted to do the celebrity homes tour. The homes & details were good/nice, but the issue was the tour guide Julie. She was asking people some super invasive, personal questions from the speaker & expected people to answer loudly for the whole bus to hear and it led to some very awkward moments for those people. If someone else wanted to go on this tour when visiting, I'd take them, but I'd choose a different tour guide.

The bus was comfortable, clean and spacious. You had an option of inside or on top. We chose on top. It started out a bit warm, 84 degrees, 77% humidity felt like 87. However, once we made our way through the Broadway drag and the street name changed, we picked up speed and caught a breeze. Our grandson enjoyed being on n the sun and actually went to sleep. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, informative, dry humor, but she was perfect for us. We weren't looking for anything spectacular. We were looking to do an inner city tour and that's what we accomplished and she did it well.

5/25/24 9am FRIDAY First time in Nashville this Memorial Day Weekend. We've done these types of tours and it gives us a nice overview of the area before diving in. While there were many interesting points of interest throughout the hour long tour, the narration ties everything together. The fun and interesting facts that the guide gave about Vanderbilt University, the Parthenon , The Frist Museum, restaurants etc. made it memorable. The approximately $40/pp made it a reasonable option. Military discount was given but you won't get it if you order tickets online.

4.5 stars Cute little bus and we had great tour guides. Make sure you call ahead of time, as we arrived between 12:30 and 1 and only the 3 o'clock tour still had seats available. (P.S. military get complimentary tours vs. the $40 for the open air tour). We visited several historical sites, churches, Broadway St, the Parthenon, TN state capitol, etc. and thought the information presented was very informative during the 1 hour tour. 2023 #78

This review is for the "Best of Nashville City Sightseeing tour on a double decker bus" Even though the bus appears to be very large, the downstairs is small and our party of three was unable to sit together because there are so few seats. Also, since the guide was upstairs and we were downstairs, we could not hear most of what he was saying. We caught a few bits and pieces about some of the areas so it wasn't a bad way to spend an hour getting an overview of Nashville but would try a different tour next time.

This is a great way to see a lot of Nashville. We were in town with a group of girls and got the two day pass so we were able to hop on and hop off at lots of different areas at our leisure. Most of the guides were very knowledgeable and gave us cool information about the sights we were seeing and they often provided humorous commentary about Nashville in general. (We did have one grumpy guide who shushed our group, and not in a very polite way.). I think they should definitely go with headphones like some of the other tour companies use. That way if you are talking no one else will hear you. I also wish that they had the double-decker buses that are open air on top like some of the other companies in other cities use. (It's great to sit up on top on a beautiful day, and it's also much much better for taking photographs......wish Grayline had them.) We had purchased the sightseeing passes and we used this as one of our attractions. It really is a great way to see many different sights, get background info, and move around the city. I probably would have given 4 stars; however one bus broke down when one of our group members was on it and all the passengers got kicked off the bus. She then had to catch an Uber to go back to the hotel. I don't know why they could not just send another bus to replace that one, but that was our only negative experience.

Was in town for Alan Jackson's final concert so when in the area? Why not visit country's hall of fame. From historic music lessons, to entertainment that's still aired on iHeart radio, you're touring where the past and future greats are privileged to perform. While shows are still going and people are still being inducted and asked to join the family of greatness. Tears or joy are found as you hear the passion and feel the greatness. Walking through the halls, through the rooms, through the stage!!!! Where you get to take a picture on the stage itself.... Just an experience as a musician myself, would say anyone would appreciate. Such an honor to walk the stage many future greats will be walk. Grateful for all the work that exists to preserve this history.

For a bachelor party, one of the guys booked tickets for us to go to a show. I personally knew none of the lineup that was performing throughout the evening but still wanted to go and check this out anyways. Walking up to the place, nothing too special. As you got closer, the flair started to show of how great this place is. Then walking in....WOW! Not what I expected at all. The decor is incredible. It's so hard to explain so you have to see it for yourself. Likewise when you get in to your seats (we were on the first level), sitting down to look at the stage is just something so unique and different from a typical music venue. Usually the shows are broadcasted live to a radio station, so they really put out a good show each night. You could lightly talk to people around you during the shows, so it wasn't incredibly loud like most places. The lights that were behind the different performers felt so nice on your eyes too. Everyone sounded great and the last guy had been performing for over 50 years! They still brought him out and he put on a heck of a closing performance! It was sad to walk out of this place. My friends felt the same way, we did a lap of the place and stuck around in the gift shop for a bit to continue absorbing the evening. We still even stood outside for a while taking pictures. The Grand Ole Opry...is something! Words can barely describe this place. You have to see it yourself, pictures don't do the justice.

She even provided the back stories of the historical churches & buildings we passed on our way to each location. She was sweet, hilarious, spunky and after telling her ALL 12 of our names just once - she remembered them all, the entire 3 hours we were together! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I'm so grateful we signed up - I honestly don't think we would have received the same experience of Nashville if we had just gone to these places on our own. We stopped off at 5 different eateries, all were pre-picked for us so we had no idea where we would be going. Unfortunately, not all of them struck me as worthy of a second visit but it was new to us (except for Prince's, we had stumbled upon them the day before, whoops) and I will say I'm not the biggest sweets fan but the Goo Goo cluster was the perfect way to end the tour!
