This is the quintessential "hang out" brewery. The campus is massive with lots of stuff to do, both inside and out. I wish every small town in Wisconsin had a farm that was as lovingly transformed into a brewery as this one! There seems to always be something fun going on: a concert, a science talk, a festival, etc. I do think the beers need a little work though. The variety and creativity is definitely there, but the hoppy beers tasted a little oxidized and some of the sour fruit beers were a little over-the-top (more like a smoothie than a beer) for me. Excellent beer, great pizza and great facilities. The Bentist IPA and Dairy Air Hazy IPA were excellent. The Bine Bomb was good, but with a stronger bitter aftertaste. The food menu is fairly limited with pizza and hot soft pretzels or cracker platters. While we waited for our pizza we snacked on some delicious dill pickle pretzel sticks. They had a number of flavors available for purchase. We had the meat lovers porker pizza. It didn't look like much when it arrived, but it had a thin layer of Canadian bacon under the cheese and pepperoni. The crust was thin and crispy and it had a great lightly smoked flavor; loved it. Bright clean facilities and friendly service. Great outdoor patio with a huge TV screen. Great for sports or music. Nice gift shop and plenty of parking. Had to take some 4 packs home! read more

Out of all the breweries I've been to I appreciate Duesterbeck's the most. They always have something going on whether it's a local event, or live music, or even vendor markets. I appreciate their lineup of beers and even their NA options for littles or people who don't drink. They also have an extensive food menu for a brewery. We've had the big pretzel and the pretzel bites and you can't go wrong. Beers are fantastic and dare I say the best in the area. The Butterscotch one I had recently was SO good I wished I could bottle it up and bring it home. read more

Good Beer, Fun Place! We enjoy good beer and bar bingo with our friends and found this place online so we tried it out. Located out in the middle of Nowhere, Cornfields, Wisconsin, sits this restored farm converted to a brewery that provides fun evenings of games and a busy live music schedule. It's a great looking farm with buildings that have been recently resided and roofed with a very attractive and inviting patio area with a covered band stage. When the band's not playing, a BIG screen tv out there is showing something. On our visit it was a girls softball game. The taproom is very inviting. There is some barn wood siding on the walls and rustic wood tables and bar top. They have a nice variety of tap beers - ipa's, wheat, lagers, sours, porters/stouts/bocks, some seasonals and seltzers. No problem getting a taste sample from the friendly beer tenders. I tried a pint of Irish Red ($6.95), Oatmeal Stout ($6.50) and a Nutty Bill's Peanut Butter Porter ($7.50). All were super tasty and I was impressed with the Peanut Butter Porter. They do have sodas and water. They do have some food, but it's very limited. Pizza and pretzels (served a variety of ways and flavors), bagged cheese curds, some fish/cheese spreads with crackers, bags of chips, salmon jerky and beef sticks. On band nights they have food trucks. Our friends got there early and tried a pizza which they did not enjoy at all and were quite disappointed. On the other hand, the 10 pc pretzel bites with cinnamon sugar were excellent. Singo Bingo was the game of the night on Wednesdays. Each person gets a stack of traditional bingo cards and some pages with bingo cards where names of songs and their artist are shown instead of numbers. For some of the games, we played the traditional letter-number call, and others games were with the song sheets. The bingo caller would play a snippet of the song and it was fun to hear everyone guessing the names of the songs and the artists. When the music stopped, the caller told us the song details and went on to the next song. The game is played just like traditional bingo. Great fun and a nice change up with the music. There is no cost to play and the prizes are good. Not sure what all the prizes were, but we won twice - a gift card for a free beer with a bag of snack nuts, and a t-shirt. Not bad! We will go back to try some more beers and perhaps play some more bingo. Tuesday is Trivia night and Thursday is Euchre. Take a drive and give them a try. read more

We were very impressed with the craft beer choices. You can pick between a flight of 4 or 6 beer flights, There was a limited hot food menu but the pizzas and pretzels were good. The service was excellent and the tap room was fun place too, although you could be outdoors or in the pig barn, We went on a Wednesday evening and played bingo which was so much fun! Let's face it, when you think "fun for the whole family", a brewery and tap room may not be top of mind. However, this hidden gem keeps things interesting and has something for nearly every one, especially in the warmer months. It's a family business and it shows, every one is always very welcoming. The beers and seltzers are quite good (I thoroughly enjoyed their cream ale, amber and Oktoberfests) and I heard they recently started selling pizza from the nearby (sort of) and awesome Pepperoni Pub. The rural and rustic ambiance is charming and there's a nice little market peddling local wares. Just talking about it makes me want to hitch a ride in a snowplow to get there today. read more

Loved this stop while visiting the Lake Geneva area this weekend. We like to sample new beers and track them on Untappd, so stopped to try it out. The buildings are very modern and clean, the prices are acceptable and the service is great. Oh yeah, did I say that the beer selection is good...and the beer tastes great! I had a hunkering for pretzel And cheese since I DID NOT GET MY PRIME ROB at Greenies but no food for me here either. Their beers are not disappoint at all. We enjoyed the Flight of 6 beers for $15!! Had a regular Bees Be straw-viscus for me an my husband had the oatmeal stout. Tasted the Nutty Bills- milk Porter, chocolate malts and sweet peanut butter- so yummy!!! ALL the beers WERE VERY DELICIOUS! Mattie said that the building were replica of the pig barn and the the building looks really nice. Great place to check out for an afternoon. This brewery is actually located way out in the country and has bright red barns with a farmhouse. Such a fun place. The menu has pizzas, huge pretzels, and many many choices of beers. The names are so unique- Crop Duester,Bees be crazy, Dairy Air Hazy IPA are just a couple. I like fruity beers and it was so good. Did I mention they have entertainment listed on the facebook page and a gift shop full of great xmas gifts. When you walk in the front door of the gift shop I smelled coffee. Awesome first impression for a first time visit! It was quiet when I arrived right after it opened. The staff was welcoming and were glad to see me. When people started coming in, they were very friendly. More people came as it got later, but was not too noisy . The offerings were plenty to choose from besides IPA. In fact there was so many that Andre gave me some samples to narrow my flight choices. He is so knowledgeable that he was even kind enough to sample his concoctions based on what I like to drink. A true gem in Wisconsin. Tucked into a field of corn, this place serves premium craft brews all brewed on site. The band shell and outside seating is fantastic on a sunny day and the cover seating makes it fantastic on a rainy day too. Don't plan on getting anything else around here to eat, you'll need to hit whatever food truck that is their most every day. They rotate the food trucks. It's a typical craft brewery. Beers are expensive. You can get excellent German beers that are of the same quality at a much less impact on the wallet. Think Weihenstephan and Paulaner (11 bucks a six pack) and many others. I bought Sam Adams Octoberfest, which is close to the same quality for a buck a bottle for 28 bottles in the box from Sam's the other day. That same 28 dollars would've only gotten me 4 beers here, accounting for the 16oz pours, that is 5.3 Sam Adams beer equivalent. So, you are missing out on 23 Sam Adams beers for the same money. My point is, I doubt I will be back. If you sit outside in the beer garden and the winds come from the north, enjoy the hog operation odor. Winds from the south, a cattle operation odor. And, if you walk out toward the hops trellis field, there is a septic tank odor that permeates the air. If you stay indoors, you won't likely notice the odors. read more

My cousin and his wife from Whitewater took us to this gem, a former pig farm revitalized as a brewery. Yes, the beer is wonderful, but the room and outside environment they created is incredibly welcoming and inspired. And their "little" pretzel, could feed a family, and it did. Brand new place out on a farm in Elkhorn. Staff was super friendly and did a great job bringing beers/food out to us on the back patio. The Bees Be Crazy was my favorite that I tried, and was great on a hot sunny day. They offer flights of their beers as well if you are interested in sampling a lot of their offerings. The back patio had tables spaced out nicely which was good to see during the coronavirus timeline. There is an old section of silo being converted into a bar, and although it wasn't open yet, it will be very cool once it is up and running. The back area around the patio has a lot or room for growth and additional decoration should they choose to do so, and I'm excited to try this place again in the future and see how they grow. read more

I stopped here with my boyfriend on a whim. We did have our dogs with and they allowed us to have them on an end table on the patio. I called ahead to make sure it was okay, as well as went in to talk to the staff prior to walking out onto the patio and they allowed us. The staff was super friendly and their patio was really chill and relaxing. I had their strawberry Hazy IPA... I'm normally not a Hazy IPA fan because the lactose can be overbearing, but this one was so good. My boyfriend had the blackberry sour and the orange dreamsicle seltzer, both were really great as well. For a snack we ordered the fresh garlic dill cheese curds: overall it was a great stop, and I look forward to going again. One more note, please please please make sure to call ahead about bringing dogs. Not sure if it's an all the time "okay thing", but just as a courtesy to the staff and your dogs. read more

Hands down one of the best breweries we have been to in the Midwest. Built on the family's farm, it has all the charm of a modern farmhouse with decor to match. And, of course, a handful of beers we enjoyed. If you are going soon, be sure to try the Octoberfest. The Hefeweizen and cream ale are also excellent. Being from out of town, we took a fare share of crawlers home to enjoy. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, along with space for private events. We were traveling in Wisconsin this week and had our dog with us in the car. We drove all the way to the brewery only to find out that they do not allow dogs anywhere, even outside on the very spacious patio area and even though there was none else outside at that time - they just opened for the day. We could not leave a dog in a hot car. Therefore, we left the brewery highly disappointed without even getting a chance to taste their offerings. Had we been able to stay and try their beers, our experience and review could have been different. read more
