This is THE MOST RACIST place of business in all of Grayson, GA. If you are any race other than white, don't spend your time and money here. They most certainly don't deserve the time and energy you've spent earning the income you may have wanted to deposit in their business. Since they want only "their kind" to shop there, let them continue to make sprinkles of business instead of waterfall amounts. I recently went in here to explore gift options for a birthday surprise and was met by the most rude and unprofessional business representatives. More importantly, don't expect to get higher quality service from the owners because they are exactly who we overheard speaking extremely disrespectful to an African-American finance representative that came in to extend an opportunity to them per their referring preferred finance company. I heard the husband co-owner mention to the African-American male representative that they don't want to explore or extend finance options for all financial situations because they pride themselves on either the customer can afford it or not. They were so nasty in their demeanor to not even hear out what the young man had to say. They presented themselves in a way that spoke volumes about who they prefer to extend service to. Since their mannerisms was indicative of only wanting to appease to a certain group of people, I immediately left without the desire of ever returning or referring ANYBODY else to this undersirable place of business. The overall and most ridiculous matter about this unimaginable situation concerning the awful encounter we experienced seeing, was, more so the fact that the husband and wife co-owners are equally uncouth and unscrupulous human beings. They should understand by now that All money is green, but when you are under-educated to know how repetitive business helps you to sustain and maintain the continuation of business, you find out the harsh way. I have spent my money in better and higher quality places of business that extends a higher level of respect and equity of treatment to ALL customers. A couple of years ago my mother (who was 80 years old at the time) needed some cash to pay for dental work. She was too proud to ask me to help pay for it, so she went to this store to sell some heirloom jewelry- my grandmother's diamond bridal set which was a Bailey, Banks and Biddle piece that was worth at least $8000 according to our appraisal. She also sold them my grandmother's Rolex. They only gave her $2,000 for the wedding set and watch!! I found out about it a few hours later, called the store, talked to the owner about me either giving the money back to the store to get the jewelry back or buying it back but was told that they had already taken the ring apart and sold it to their dealer!!!! I explained to him how valuable the ring was and how much it had meant to our family but he had NO compassion at all!! I could not believe they would take advantage of an elderly lady who appeared to need the money - especially a small town business like this one!! I also could not believe they had sold the diamonds that fast...felt like I had been lied to. They might as well be a pawn shop! I would rate them no stars if possible!! read more

If you don't like the bad reviews STOP ACTING BADLY! I dropped off a bracelet to be polished and Joe scribbled the weight of the gold on the receipt ....IT WAS ILLEGIBLE! I corrected it, IN FRONT OF HIM! He said, Very Sternly, "Don't write on the receipt." I said, it was Illegible! He said, "I know what it says." Grayson Jewelers is the only place our family has gone to for years. The owner Joe helped me in a ring resizing and resetting. It was complicated and started with the cutting off of my wedding band. Joe carefully cut between the inscription. A couple of years ago he also reset my Mom's diamond into a necklace for me, I was hesitant because it is hard to trust people these days. He showed me with the eye piece how to recognize my diamond. Their work is impeccable and all of their staff is amazing. read more

Joe is a liar and dishonest business person. Joe assured me he could complete a custom design. I paid him a $1400 deposit towards the $2800 design. Joe did not deliver my design based on my specs then refused my refund made me accept a store credit then didn't honor the store credit. So in other words Joe robbed me for $1400 and then had his Lawyer friend Mike send me a threatening letter because I posted a honest and factual review. I recently went back to after I felt things had calmed to obtain the store credit. Joe told me to remove the bad reviews because it cost him business when I declined he denied the store credit and told me to do what I needed to do. Please be careful spending your money with this man or his business Grayson jewelers. Oh then he tried to pull his White card by saying I was scaring him. How can I put this to words......I love the fact that its close by but unless you're a male you get treated better. The times I've been in Grayson jewelry the female staff seem to have a attitude unless you plan to spend money. For the male staff that they do have are great I think the female staff could learn some better way to approach a guest when they walk in with out giving a stuck up look. The last time I was there it was my birthday and so I treated myself to the Pandora sale they had going on. I walked in and sure enough I was helped out. Durring my experience there the girl suddenly changed her tone and greated the people that just walked in. I thought to my self why was I not treated the same way.....so I didn't think anything so bought what I wanted and left. My experience that I'd gotten was a joke the male staff actually know how to treat their guest with respect and equality. Customer Service Training badly needed. I will not spend my money in this store. They don't know how to speak to African Americans when they come into the store. This is by far the worst jewelry store. Horrible experience. My guy knows to never buy me another piece from this joke of a place. Long story short. I returned the gift ( a caged diamond pendant necklace) to the store as I was not happy with it and the "freebie," he threw in. The "freebie," was a gray colored diamond and I was suppose to be happy it , because it was FREE. Listen, this store is as close to carnival circus show as you can get. I took back the gift, selected a pair of diamond solitaire earrings ( it was between a .50 carat and a .61 carat weight. I selected the .61 and had to pay the difference, the necklace I returned was $1200.00 and he wanted $800.00 more. I said, no way that is a total rip off. We settled on $600.00. He took my earrings away to clean them, returned them to me at the cash register. I said these are the .61 correct? He said, yes indeed. I paid and left. Later to my dismay, I found out they were the .50 carat weight and he didn't even give the screw backs that went on the solitaries,he gave me compression backs. Now its my word against his, and you know where that leaves me! I paid got the correct backs at another reputable store and have moved on but will continue to let folks know this store is horrible!
