We paid our bill and were getting ready to leave. That's when Nicole, who appeared to be a manager, stopped by our table. She noticed that I had barely touched my meal and asked if I needed a box. When I told her no, she didn't just walk away. She genuinely asked if there was a reason I hadn't eaten much of my food. I explained that I simply wasn't a huge fan of what I ordered but didn't want to make a big deal about it. Nicole asked my husband and me to give her one minute and returned with a gift card for a future visit. We were completely blown away. I never complained. I never asked for my meal to be removed from the bill. I never asked for anything at all. She simply noticed. And that is what exceptional hospitality looks like.
