Went there for a oil change for the past 2 years no problems until the last oil change when the tech told me the oil filter wouldn't come off because it's stripped, I know that oil filters are hand tightened ,so the previous oil change tech might have used a tool to put on the oil filter and now can't get the oil change and they charged 100 or so dollars , because the manager said he changed the oil but not the filter . This was my first time using this establishment. Just went for a simple oil change. It's kinda lying in the cut, I almost missed the turnoff to get to it. I recently cancelled the oil change place in ellenwood that I've used since moving here because the difference in Appearance between my last and recent visit has deteriorated and it looked and felt dirty and un kept. This is a business that overcharges on the regular. $65 for a cabin air filter that costs $12.99 at auto zone and $30 to install on-site everywhere else. $110 on a synthetic oil change when it's $90 at the competitor. The staff is friendly but hella slow. They are more interested in goofing off and taking smoke breaks than doing their jobs. I know that no one is paid enough anymore, but service is sort of an expected given. Manager gave me a discount without prompting from myself, but charged me for a tire rotation that was (admittedly) not performed and charged me $65 for the cheapest and easiest item to repair on my car. No tools involved, 5 minute fix, $13 part. When I arrived, there was one car in the oil change bay, hood already up, manager said 10-15 to finish. That took 30. My car got pulled in, had the hood up for 50 minutes, i observed maybe 10 minutes of work in that time. It's just an oil change. E-Vac, add oil, check fluids, take info. Air filter was replaced long before the staff even cared to start on the oil. It was not busy when I got there, and wasn't busy when I left. I understand that there are other customers in front of me and that work has to be delegated as necessary, but this place charges too much and doesn't work at a respectable pace. $167 is very close to what I should have been charged for a synthetic oil change, a cabin air filter, and a tire rotation. I'll acquiesce to $185, give or take. But I didn't even recieve the tire rotation, and was given lip service about the "discounts" I got from the exorbitant prices. I do not recommend this location. Look elsewhere. Not a good deal. read more

I came here to get air in my tires and was immediately greeted and directed to pull into the shop. Jason was great and promptly corrected the air pressure in my tires. The only downside I see to This location is it is not central. It can be easy to miss if you are not sure where you are going. When I am getting my car serviced I like to either set an appointment, or be the 1st one there (Which I was today). This was my 1st experience with Jiffy Lube, so obviously, also my 1st time at this location. The location is off in the cut, near an airport "Park-n-Ride", which is a bit off the beaten path itself and down a hill, though it's off a major road. Every member of the staff that I interacted with, from the tech, to what I assume was a supervisor or manager and the young lady working the desk, was awesome! I was only getting some minor/routine work done and I am speculating and hoping as to how they might handle some heavier lifting, but based on today's experience; Definitely "thumbs up" Jiffy Lube! read more

I came to Jiffy Lube because after 3 frustrating days of trying to extract my oil pan bolt (even with the extractor), I finally gave up. Because the bolt was so stripped, I was not very hopeful it would be removed. The service I received was not only friendly, but quick, prompt, and very smooth. I'm a gal that works on my own cars, so I was enthusiastic to see the process. They allowed me to watch, answered all of my questions, and made the visit very enjoyable! Didnt even know this Jiffy Lube was here..I needed an oil chain and just so happened this one was very close..Its located behind the BP gas station just off of Camp Creek Parkway and Hersel Road, College Park. I drove up to the front of the business and the associates directed me to drive to rear and enter that way..When I pulled around the associate asked me what service I needed and I told them an oil change. He was able to scan the bar code VIN, which let him know all the specifics of my previous oil changes..so I didnt have to fill out any paper work, it was already in the system, including the type of oil my vehicle uses. The associated were professional in handling my car, they even vacuumed inside of my vehicle for no extra charge..even though it was a thorough vacuum it least they tried. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes which was good. I used the bathroom and it was very clean...They also had a coupon on Groupon that I was able to use for a substantial discount!!! read more

Waited 2 hours and paid double of the quoted price. The manager was in charge of the maintenance and work of my car. To be completely honest, I have little or no care about cost, but I do care about inconsiderate liars. Do not quote me and then charge me for a part, that I asked in DEEP detail about before agreeing, that cost more than the quote! They picked the right one today. If you're looking for a genuine service and/or mechanic, stay away for this place. To put things in perspective, I waited 2 hours and paid $589.91 for a tune-up that I was quoted $350 on. Was never in there more than 20 mins. I have been going to this location for the past 3 years (before Covid). I have always felt that the people at this location have ALWAYS been very kind and will do everything they can to make sure that you leave safe. I had to wait a little longer since my car needed a specific plug for my oil pan --the cap no longer sealed the pan and leaked at high pressure/speeds. We took our vehicle (2018 Honda) to Jiffy Lube to get our oil changed. A week after we noticed there was oil leaking from the car. We immediately took it back to Jiffy and explained the issue and they ran a "test" to see what the problem was. The said they didn't see anything, everything looked good, and since the car was sitting and not being used often that might be why it was leaking. A few days later we went to start the car and it wouldn't start. Oil was all on the garage floor and we had to get it towed to the dealership. The dealership revealed the oil filter was not put back on correctly which caused the damage to the oil pan. This is terrible service and Jiffy had 2 chances to get it right and didn't causing damage to the vehicle. They not only owe us a refund for the oil change, they need to pay for the damage to our car. read more

I went to this business on 07-18-15 for an oil change and what I have gotten is a nightmare. After watching the manger Mickey damage my vehicle's drivers side door but hitting it into the handle of the office door THREE times, I finally had enough. The manager filled out an Quality Control Incident Report which I have found useless, even though the manger claimed it was there fault. I have called the district manger Mr. Simmons multiple times and have only received one follow up call and nothing since then. Buyer beware and if you own a large vehicle or a truck and still decide to use this place, please use Bay 2. Even the manager said Bay 1 where my vehicle was damaged was too small for trucks, and that an office door shouldn't even be in that area. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! read more

I have never received stellar service from any Jiffy Lube's in the past; however, I was pleasantly surprised with this location. I apparently went when during an off time as I was the only customer in the bay. The service technicians were very friendly and didn't try to push and unnecessary services off on me. The main technician (I forget his name--also processed my credit card transaction) was very personable and seemed genuine when asking for repeat business. I would definitely recommend this location to those in the area or other folks that leave their car in the long term airport parking lots. read more

There were a couple of vehicles ahead of me but I didn't mind sitting in the lounge. They offered me water as I waited for my vehicle to be serviced. On 8/28/19 I went to Jiffy Lube located at 3428 Camp Creek Pkwy to get my oil change on my BMW E92. This was a disaster and almost turned into a financial nightmare. To be succinct, the person who changed my oil threw out the oil housing filter cap STEM (The stem is very important for the proper flow of oil through the oil filter). Consequently, my engine light came on during my drive home. Upon troubleshooting the problem based on the diagnostic code, I returned to Jiffy Lube to simply ask the person who changed the oil whether or not he inadvertently threw out the oil filter STEM. At this point, I encountered a nightmare (the manager) that I was not anticipating. The manager had a major issue checking her ego about her extensive knowledge as a mechanic. She proceeded to tell me about her experience as a mechanic and denied that my car problem had anything to do with what happened during my oil change. I told her I wanted to see if my oil filter stem was in place and she continued to insist that "as a mechanic", this was not the problem. Then when she finally opened the filter cap, the stem was missing. She then said this piece was not necessary and would not cause the problem. Before taking my car into the BMW repair shop for an expensive repair, I bought the oil filter stem (alone with tools to open the oil filter cap) from Amazon and installed it. Now my car is running just as good as it was before I went to Jiffy Lube to get an oil change. If you own a BMW, be aware, the manager and her employees DO NOT KNOW anything about BMW motor vehicles. It cost me $129 for my oil change plus $60 for their ineptitude. This was one of the worst customer service experience of my life. read more
