At some point, Ian gave me the new cost (12x to the original cost) for a variety of things. I'm an immigrant with English as my serving language. I didn't understand 13 and change meant 1300. I tried to clarify asking, how much is it going to be? He said, "the price I quoted earlier", which in my mind was 160. I would request the staff to quote the figures clearly more than once in words that non native speakers can understand. It feels like they took advantage of me. Feels very icky. And this took almost 4 hours. If you bring the car for a small thing like an oil change, be on the watch for a long process of expensively unnecessary things to be done to your car. Management: before you refute my review and make the point that I agreed to all the services and the new cost, please read the review again. I'm taking responsibility of not double checking the prices with you and probing further on the "the price I just gave you earlier" when you're throwing 17 technical teens at me. I kept hearing things squeak as I drove home. This is what I found when I opens the back hatch. This is NOT how it was given to them AT ALL.

7/10/24. (Updated/corrected review) "After inspection of all…read more4 wheels upon getting home." On 5/25/24 at approximately 1315 hours, I came to Discount Tire (Dawsonville, GA location Store # 44) to get four Falken Wildpeak 255/55/19 tires put onto my 2014 Acura MDX SH-AWD Advance. The OEM Acura wheels at this time were unchipped, scratched, and etc. Discount tire employees were able to work on my vehicle at approximately 1340 hours. After approximately 15 minutes later. They were finished with installing my tires. I thought this was extremely fast as I never experienced such a fast service. Later on the same day at approximately 1532 hours at my residence, I was cleaning/removing the mounting lube from my new tires and wheels. While cleaning, I observed several scratches on the edge of all 4 of my wheels. Upon closer inspection, the scratches are into the clear coat/paint and I was unable to polish it out. I also noticed clear coat chips on 2 of 4 wheels that appear to been produced affer the mounting of the new tires. I also noticed a chip on wheel area where the lug nut holes area. I also observed a few chips on the edge of lips of the wheels as well. Affer I observing these damages, I called Discount Tire (Dawsonville) where I spoke to Austin on the phone. Mr. Austin advised me to email photos of the damages of the wheels as I was unable to come back because of me having to pick up my baby. Austin later called me and advised me that he would be able to refinish the wheels or replace them with aftermarket wheels of my choice. I informed him that I did not want the genuine Acura wheels refinished due to longterm durability of the wheels. I advised that I would prefer new replacement OEM wheels. I never got a call back by Austin as it appeared he forwarded me to their 3rd party claims company (Fleet Response). They blamed me for the damages for the wheels and offered me $200 as a goodwill. Affer I complained and said the marks on my wheels were made by a machine as you can clearly see and it wasn't previous damages. They upped the reimbursement to $600 which still doesn't cover Acura Oem replacement wheels of $2300. I was super upset and contacted Discount Tire customer service where they said they would follow up with me by having a store manager contact me. It's been over 2 weeks and I still have not heard anything. I would highly avoid this location as they are not careful with your wheels and will lie and blame you for the damages that they clearly caused by their wheel mounting machine.
