One of your employees was clearly trying to sell me work I didn't need in order to get more money out of me. The only thing that was replaced today was the part that your shop damaged. Not only was the serpentine belt installed incorrectly, but the component the belt runs on was also broken because of your faulty work. That cost me an additional $150 for the part, plus labor to have it replaced correctly. There was absolutely no way I was going to let your shop touch my car again after the poor-quality work that was done the first time. Instead of taking responsibility, you're essentially calling me a liar. I had to pay someone else to fix the damage and correct your mistake. Thanks to your negligence, I was left with additional expenses and unnecessary stress. I would not recommend your business to anyone and hope other customers think twice before trusting your shop with their vehicles. What is most concerning is that after bringing this issue to your attention, the company has refused to properly correct the problem or issue a refund. I have incurred additional expenses to repair the damage caused by the improper installation. Due to the seriousness of this situation, I am exploring my legal options. No customer should have to worry about their safety after paying for professional repairs. I hope the company takes steps to ensure this does not happen to anyone else in the future. I also feel that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was treated unfairly. Oil change. Wasn't greeted when I arrived, no one was at the front, seemed too busy and too hectic to handle customers. Two girls who are working for their dad seemed pretty frustrated most of the time yelling and cussing, but they are nice to customers. Honestly felt like a pretty gross experience and like I was stressing them out. Was standing at the counter for a while, not really knowing what to do or when I could pay or anything. Ended up costing more than Valvoline or Jiffy Lube even with a $20 coupon. Not coming back. read more

I get my oil changed here occasionally. I typically do it myself but when I just don't have the time, these guys are great. They are fast, efficient, friendly and always do the job right. The price is reasonable and there is even a 12 dollar off Yelp check in coupon. My only complaint really is that the homeless congregate behind the building and even set up tents. They harass the customers for money and food. It's very uncomfortable and I don't see the employees moving to stop it or deal with it. If they dealt with this problem, I'd use their services more often. read more

Went in for an oil change and they left one of the screws out of the oil filter cover. We found it hanging off the bottom of my vehicle. I attempted to call them to see if they would rectify the situation but all I got was an answering machine and they never retuned my call. Would not recommend receiving service from a place that conducts business this way. Poor quality and business ethic. read more

They did a great job with my diagnosis and since I had services I got this week , they did not charged me for the full on diagnostic Felt super lucky on that In addition I did got good advice and what needs to be done on my new car either from them or on the Chevy dealership . These guys are exceptional!! I brought my Acura in for routine brake maintenance and replacement. While waiting to be assisted, I overheard the lead guide a customer with their auto concerns, the service professional provided accurate smart information to help the customer make an informed decision. What I appreciated most is he made honest recommendations that were from least to most expensive options, instead of just selling an expensive option to make money for the shop. I was impressed. They're busy, they're not super warm, but their work is clean and well done. I have extensive experience working with autos and mechanical engineering, and all of my conversations with them have been accurate and they've provided honest recommendations. I never doubt their abilities and advice when I want to get my car repaired. I love you guys. It's nice to have a 5 star trustworthy option in our community. I have been going to this location before it was Grease Monkey, when it was Bear Valley Automotive. I was happy with them until they sold out. The thing Grease Monkey is best at is UP SELLING, not saving you money, I just needed an oil change and they charged me $114, last year it was $67. Here's my problem, my kids are using my car while theirs is being fixed. I knew that the car needed an oil change and I had a window of opportunity to get it done. So I didn't have time to shop around, needed to get the car done and back to them. So I'm up charged because my car has more than 100,000 miles and because it takes 2.5 more quarts of oil than their normal oil change allows, plus my car needs full synthetic oil. The cost is higher than going to the dealership as it turns out. So that is the last visit to this location and any Grease Monkey franchise. If you choose to go there be sure you get a quote in writing and have time to shop other businesses. read more
