Don't try their car wash it was a waste, dryers didn't work and our car was still wet which ultimately made it dirty again.

So this is bittersweet, the long time owner and proprietor, Paul Helgeson, is forced to sell Odin's…read moredue to some health problems. It's sad, Paul is the BEST mechanic in Grand Forks. There's nary problem he can't fix. He is an old school nuts and bolts mechanic. You're not going to see walls of fancy equipment telling you what the problem is. You're going to see wrenches, impact drivers, sockets, screwdrivers and the like. He's one of those guys that can listen to your car and tell you what's wrong. Like all mechanics, he's got busted knuckles, a bad back and miles of scar tissue. He kept thousands of vehicles that were long overdue for the junkyard on the road. His customer base ranged from the richest people in Grand Forks to the people like me who lived paycheck to paycheck. He treats everyone like they are his best friend. 124 Belmont Road is a little slice of heaven, it's sad it's a forced retirement but Paul has worked 15 hour days and sometimes more to keep his customers happy. As the son of a mechanic with 50 years+ experience, I can safely say that Paul is one of the most respected people in automotive business in North Dakota, scratch that North America.

They are reasonable, and I feel safe knowing I'm not going to get ripped off. I would recommend anyone to get there vehicle fixed here. I am so happy I have a good car mechanic I can call on when I need help.... 5 stars all the way

Nelson Ford Of Grand Forks - Great customer service! Always feel welcome when walking in the doors! Love how there is an area for refreshments and popcorn!

Nelson Ford Of Grand Forks

Buyer Beware - My Experience with Nelson Auto of Grand Forks…read more I purchased a 2020 Ford Transit Cargo Van from this dealership and had it inspected shortly afterward by a Ford-certified technician at St. George Ford. The inspection identified several issues, including: * Rear axle shaft seal leak * Rear differential pinion seal leak * A missing engine air-intake water-diversion component These are drivetrain and functional components that typically develop over time, not cosmetic issues that appear overnight. I contacted the dealership and worked directly with Eric Taylor. He initially said he would review the inspection report. After multiple follow-ups over several weeks, the final response was that nothing would be done and that the matter was "resolved" because the vehicle was sold AS-IS. To be clear, I was not asking them to cover every recommended service item--only a few significant issues involving drivetrain seals and a missing component that were identified immediately after purchase. Rather than reviewing the findings or attempting to reconcile two professional inspections, the dealership dismissed the report entirely and ended the conversation. Mechanical issues can happen with any used vehicle. What matters is how a dealership responds when credible problems are documented right after a sale. In this case, the response from management was essentially: you signed the paperwork, so it's your problem now. Consumers should understand that "AS-IS" language does not eliminate expectations of good-faith business practices when material mechanical concerns appear immediately after purchase. Because of how this situation was handled, I am documenting the experience publicly and will also be sharing the inspection documentation with **Ford Motor Company customer relations and relevant consumer protection channels for review. If you're considering buying here, get a truly independent inspection before signing anything. Based on my experience, once the paperwork is signed, don't expect much help from management. Buyer beware.

I've used their chat bot to no avail. I had a text string going with someone asking for the sales manager to call me - nobody has called. I have called multiple times only to be transferred to some random mailbox, leaving a message with still no response. Sales staff was nice and attentive. Seems the business side needs A LOT of work!
