Uhm. Awesome experience. They close at 8 and at 7 I needed somewhere to get my oil changed and they said it wouldn't be a problem as long as I arrived before 8. Did not realize they were under new ownership, but it was evident in the atmosphere and service. One car ahead of me and my car sat in front of the bay for 40 mins for an oil change !!! (10 AM on a weekday) Another customer mentioned they were under new ownership and I left. During this time no communication from the staff other than than when I checked in - have been going there for years, always friendly, fast and reliable service. I've taken our different cars they're probably twice each. Why do I keep going back and only give them two stars? Or the reality is they are so conveniently located in very very fast service but it's hard not to overlook their outrageous prices. On the last trip they tried to upsell my son on replacing his engine and cabin air filters. While they did need replacing I don't think that's quite worth an additional $60. I ordered both air filters on Amazon for less than $20 watch the three minute YouTube video and was able to install both filters in less than five minutes. read more

Took our Infinity EX35 to grease monkey for a oil change and less than a mile down the road the transmission started slipping. Limped the car home and after inspecting the car the transmission fluid was drained instead of the oil. Then the tech added an additional 5 quarts of oil without draining the oil or changing the filter! I called grease monkey nd spoke to Dave the manager. He instructed me to have the car towed to the dealer and show him the bill. After being without a car for three days and now calling a towing company I really think grease monkey should be billed directly and step up for their mistake. Stay tuned. read more

I have been here several times and the quality of work has gone down significantly. First I know there can be a wait so I asked how long it would be. They stated it would be 20, 30, or 40 minutes. That seemed reasonable. Fast forward an hour later, I return from lunch and my truck is still outside. Hasn't even made it in the bay yet. I looked around for someone so I could just leave, but no one to be found. As I'm looking they pull my truck in. I have a short in my driver's side window and explained to them to not use it. Well of course they did. I asked them to fill my wiper fluid, they said they would, and in fact it was checked off on the check list, but when I got home and checked it, bone dry. If they were dishonest about that, I'm curious if they actually changed the oil. This is the second time I have been disappointed with this establishment. read more

They gave me an oil change, new filter, topped of the other fluids and even vacuumed out the car. I ran over to the new Publix grabbed a few things and the car was done. Just went to Grease Monkey and they wouldn't pass my car for inspection due to the ring in my headed lights changing colors. They have inspected my car for the past 2 years and it has passed with the very same headlights. No worries I'll go somewhere else. Mark the manager wasn't even interested in allowing me to make the ring a solid color. Great part is Mark didn't even come out to talk to me he sent an employee. I have always used them for oil changes and car inspections but I won't be back. I realize this won't make a difference if I don't come back just don't understand why this time my headlights are an issue. read more

The manager David I think that what his name was is An extreme hothead, and doesn't know how listen to a customers needs nor does he know how to care for a customers vehicle. Went in for an oil change just to get screamed at and doors and hood slammed on the vehicle. I have an overly built skid plate for my truck, Said skid plate covers half of the bottom of my vehicle and is extremely heavy I was trying to help a young gentleman that was going to change my oil on the easiest way to get around the skid plate without taking it off. One part of the 3 skid plates weighs 150 pounds. I was trying to save the young gentleman from getting hurt and dropping this on his head but David, the manager comes to have a screaming match with me over talking to his tech. Long story short, David, the manager said he would beat me to death Because I made him angry (those were his exact words) I was in shock I couldn't help but laugh because I couldn't believe what was happening, and that didn't do nothing but piss him off even more to the point where he started slamming my hood and doors on my vehicle. By far the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life and I have been to the same store to get my oil changed before with no issue whatsoever. David needs some customer Service training or he needs a permanent vacation from that job. Welcome to grease monkey where we scream at you and slam your doors!!!!! They performed an incorrect oil change service on my vehicle, didn't take off for the discount coupon I had, and basically lacked professionalism and customer service. After learning of the discrepancy, they wouldn't even discuss how to remedy the situation. They just copped an attitude, did it their way, and made me wait through a repeat oil change. I tried to contact the owner via their website explaining my disappointment and there has been no response in over a week. That's discouraging, too! I've been a customer there with several vehicles over the past 10-12 years, but my eyes have been opened to the decline of service and care. If these guys don't reply and rectify the situation, I'll probably switch over to that oil change shop by Panera bread. read more

First and last time I'll use this location for an oil change. First, thank you for the layer of yellow pollen in my car due to leaving my windows down as my car sat in your parking lot when it was finished. No one called me when it was done, and they said they would. 3 hours after dropping it off I had to call and ask about the car. Inside was not vacuumed like they said they would. I was up sold to premium oil (and then I could go 5-7K), yet they gave me a sticker that said I had to be back in 3K miles...? I was quoted $75 and paid $88...and to top it all off, when I asked to speak to management about these issues; the GM, Josh, was rude, condescending and 100% lost my business and anyone that asks me about businesses in the area. read more

I love this place. It's clean, the guys are clean, they keep your car clean while it's serviced. They show you everything they take out or check, they don't push you to buy things and don't always hock the most expensive services. If there's a wait, they give accurate estimates for wait time. Typically they are quick and take great care of the cars and customers. As a girl who took (and passed) shop, married to a former mechanic, I trust these guys and highly recommend 'em for the stuff you can't do at home. read more

I had a very bad experience at Grease Monkey today. Rolled in - no wait. As usual, there were items that were suggested to be fixed: replace engine filter, replace cabin filter, have fuel injection system serviced. I chose to forgo those. That's when I was told that while checking my tire pressures, the mechanic had broken the valve off my right front tire. And, yep, it was totally flat. To his credit, the supervisor had already called Discount Tire to arrange to have it fixed. So I then had to wait for the tech to put my spare on, then I drove over to DT. If you've ever been to DT, you know that they are always super busy and that your visit is going to take over an hour. Which mine did. When they finally got to my car, it was discovered that the GM mechanic had stripped the wheel lock key - so the DT tech had to essentially destroy the wheel lock to get my tire off. DT is handling reordering a replacement wheel lock and key - which means another hour or so trip to get that taken care of. So - a 15 min oil change turned into a 2 day affair. GM wasn't going to do anything to compensate the huge inconvenience until I mentioned to the supervisor that they ought to give me the filters for free. He then did comp me the engine filter. I would not recommend this place. read more

We have been coming here for years and was very impressed with this business, but today I went for my state inspection and was very disappointed. There was no social distancing, no gloves or masks on the employees. They were very busy jumping in and out of cars without any sanitizing. The door handle to go in and pay has been touched by every employee and customers. I had a mask and disposable gloves. When I asked why they were not practicing social distancing and sanitizing the supervisor said nothing. When I asked again, he said that he and the owner have discussed it but can't find any supplies. I told him that they are available on the internet. His response was that it would take a month to get them. I told him that this will still be a problem in a month. Costco does state inspections and they have a very high standard of sanitizing during this difficult time. Since an inspection entails touching practically everything in your car I had to sanitize my whole car before driving home. I brought my own cleaning products from publix next door. read more
