This is a shared space with the ice cream place, they actually kind of seem to keep it separated (except for when you pay). The person that was working on the cookie side, really didn't interact much/well with me or the other person that came in. There were plenty of empty spaces, where you would expect to see cookies on display/ready to be purchased. They do offer cookie cakes, but they were out of them the day that I was there (no big deal, didn't need one). Prices are a little high, $2 for a cookie. In most of these cases you can get a package at the grocery store for about $1 more and cook your own at home and get them fresh out of the oven - obviously the best time to be eating a cookie. All in all it just didn't feel like there was much effort put into the customer experience and that the minimum effort is getting put in here. I probably wouldn't get cookies from this location in the future.

I felt the need to update my review from 4 months ago. I am semi disappointed in my recent visit. First off , it was extremely packed but the line gave me time to take photos. You know how we Yelpers do! I ordered a kids size banana pudding ice cream and one pecan chocolate chip cookie. I loved the ice cream and it was the perfect size. I didn't love the cookie because it lacked flavor and substance. I spent $8.00 for both items. I do feel like Great American Cookies is a tad bit overpriced. I don't come here often so I didn't mind splurging to satisfy my sweet tooth. There are better /cheaper options in the area. I still am a fan of love their cookie cakes!

My two sons and I drove over to Sunshine's bakery this morning and I must admit-- it was worth the drive. We started out with three of the mango pastries and two ham and cheese croissants. The mango pastries were very good. The inside was kind of like a pudding/mousse and it did have real mangoes as well. My husband wasn't able to come with us so I picked up two more fruit pastries, another mango and the pear one. Even with it being a drive, I can see myself coming out here again. Oh, and the employees inside were very, very nice and hospitable. One of the employees, I believe may be the owner, came outside when we were eating and asked us how we liked everything and even asked for any feedback on how to make things better. You can't ask for better service than that!

Went a little later in the day, but they still had many options to choose from along with some of the biggest croissants I've ever seen in my life. I had to resist from grabbing one of everything. I ended up getting the mango and apple entrement. They did not disappoint. The fruit in the middle took it to another level. I will definitely be back to try their biscoff coffee drink they have along with another sweet treat!

I notice they were posting that they were going to be open on certain days for breakfast and decided to stop by on my way to work. So being that is winter season she had some warm tamales, burritos, variety of fresh bread, cake slices, cupcakes and champurrado- It is a traditional Mexican chocolate drink that is thickened with pinole (ground maize flour), Cinnamon, whole clove, and star anise (keep in mind that there are a variety of versions). On my stop I bought some tamales and champurrado. I really enjoyed the champurrado, it was just perfect not to sweet and not to bland and enough consistency on the thick side. As for the tamales, I order their chicken with red salsa, cheese with jalapeno salsa and chicken with Mole (traditional Mexican thick sauce). I have to say that I have had better, but I have to keep in mind that there are a variety of tamales and all are done differently. So to me they were decent and it will all depend on each person palette if they like. I was disappointed in not getting some of their fresh bread but did not want it sitting at my desk all day, but will update the review once I try it and their cakes (which I already placed an order and will post pictures). There menu may change either by season or new added bread, pastries or delicious sweets, so keep that in mind and would suggest to go in and look. P.S...They also have homemade ice cream, but because of the cold weather, I did not even bother getting tempted.
