Basic, reasonable requests were met with visible irritation, and the overall attitude made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. That kind of interaction sticks with you more than the food does. What really added to the confusion was noticing trays of fresh, better-looking donuts behind the counter as we were leaving--none of which were available or mentioned while ordering.
