Took a big birthday party here. It was fun, it felt very special, and I think the kids had fun, but I had to work pretty hard to help the kids team win :) So I like the thing, and it's cool you can have a group of 14 and they make it feel like you're in a studio. But my main thing is I think they need to do a much better job if you do a kids vs parents game, or warn against it (they said it would be fine). I ended up fighting the other parents to throw the match! I would recommend doing two teams of the same level, because overall the experience was cool, but the kids vs parents things was good for the kids, not as much for the adults. Our group was a party of 8 and our enemies were a party of 4. It was strange they matched us up like that but not really their fault. The setup inside is for only 7 people so they could have prepared us for this so one person wouldn't be left out. The white board for the game lost a wheel and instead of agreeing to shim it up with a block we were instructed to hold the board with one hand while trying to draw with the other hand while blindfolded. The host Joseph was energetic and friendly for his second time hosting the game, but he was sending incorrect scores to the teams. We had scored 5/5 questions but only awarded points for 4. The other team had buzzed in correct answers for the grid game but not awarded points. We received a text after the game stating we had a video incoming for our game. They sent us a video of a different group and have not responded since we reported the problem. Had a great time with friends! I booked with a group of 8 people so I expected that we would end up in our own room, but we were placed with another group that only had 4 people. They asked us if we would be interested in donating two people from our group to join the other group, but we chose to stay together. There were various games that ranged from building, trivia, rolling the wheel, are you smarter than a 5th grader style game, and etc. We loved the variety and friendly competition. During the game, there were a few hiccups like a blindfold not being available, the whiteboard being broken, and our points not being properly counted. Ruins the fun when you have to tell the host we didn't get points that we deserved. Additionally, we all got a text that we would receive a recap video of our experience within 24-48 hours. The next morning we received a recap video, which I was so excited about, only to watch it and find out that they sent us the wrong video... I reached out but still haven't gotten a response and totally would still love to see the video reel if they had it. Despite this we had a great time and won the game!! First timer and I would definitely return! Evan was our game show host and he did an amazing job. I really felt like I was in a televised game show. I would love to return with friends or co workers. Today's visit was parent vs kids and parents walked away as champs!! The reservation is for an hour of play time and I thought that was a perfect amount of time. They fit so many fun games in and it does not feel rushed at all. We played about 8-10 games which included a plinko style game, trivia, building blocks, multiple choice, casino/betting game and a mental game. Even though it was parents against kids the questions and games were suited for all ages. Nothing too easy or too hard. The best part is the confetti at the end for the winner!!! Location- inside valley Fair mall, so plenty of eating locations. When we checked in. An offer to make a dinner reservation was offered, which I thought was nice. Price- we were able to snag a summer special so we paid about $38 pp. I believe the normal rate is around $47-$56. This is located inside of Valley Fair, so make sure to account for any time you might need to park/walk through the mall to make it to your reservation. Vivian was super friendly at the front desk and got us situated in the room, and then as soon as Adam came in the show began! We had so much fun and loved how different each of the games were. This is a fun activity for friend groups of any size, and Adam was able to accommodate our uneven group size. The nature of each of the games was pretty different (one was Wheel of Fortune-like, one was spinning a wheel like Jeopardy, some were guessing or trivia). They have more games than you are able to play in an hour, so if you return, it's likely that you'll get to play games you haven't played before. They have rooms for 8 or 14 people. If you want a private room, but don't have enough people, they can give you a discount to book out the remaining slots. It's about $46 per person and they sometimes have deals and discounts. They offer two versions of the game: the original and the trivia showdown. We decided to try the original version since it was our first time. Highly recommend! This version had lots of variety of games from trivia to minute-to-win it style games to spinning the wheel, plinko, and more. It truly was like being in a game show! You get split up into two teams and you can choose your teams ahead of time OR they have a way to randomly choose on the spot. Huge round of applause to our host, Rylee.
