    Whisk(e)y menu part 1

Three Sisters has been a must-hit each time I've been to San Pedro Square. This is the perfect spot to grab a drink before, or while enjoying your dinner from one of the other food locations at San Pedro Square. There are 10+ bar seats, and a ton of tables varying from 2, 4, 6 and 8+ seats. Their outdoor patio is large, covered, and has heaters. They also have their own bathrooms which are very clean and less busy than the ones in the market. They are first and foremost a whiskey bar, with two full pages of whisk(e)y options, including Bourbon, Rye, Irish, Scotch, Japanese Whisky, and American/Single Malt; they also have a selection of cocktails and other non-whiskey options (tequila, vodka, gin). I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't had any of their whisk(e)ys, but the cocktails I've had were delicious. You order directly from the bar, and the bartenders are friendly and quick! My favorite drink is the Raspberry Hang Glider (Vodka, Lemon, Raspberry Puree, House Syrup) which is light, slightly effervescent, and refreshing! I had this while eating a range of Mexican food (from Loteria Taco Bar) and I loved that it was perfect for sipping between bites of spicy and flavorful food. This cocktail doesn't taste very strong, but it packs a punch-sip slowly and enjoy! My next recommendation is the Limoncello Adjacent (Roots of Ruin Gin, House-made Limoncello, Lemon, Basil Syrup, Soda) which is tart, alcohol-forward, and elevated. This is definitely a pre-meal drink, or as a nightcap; I don't usually like such strong drinks while I eat (too many competing flavors) and the limoncello is on the sweeter side, so I would drink this on its own. If you like a boozy cocktail that hits you quick, definitely try this. Highly recommend stopping by Three Sisters for a drink or two while at San Pedro Square; the vibes are laid-back, elegant, and chill. I've been here with a couple of different groups of girlfriends and everyone leaves with a happy buzz! Cheers! IG: @waitingtoeat

Stopped by during a Halloween bar crawl and had a few drinks here. The place has plenty of seating and a comfortable setup, which made it easy to hang out and enjoy the night. Drinks were solid, service was quick, and the overall vibe was relaxed but lively enough to fit the event. Great spot to grab a drink and unwind. I'd definitely come back outside of an event to check it out again.

I've been to this particular bar a handful of times granted I've never had their whiskey. I always favored their environment and the bartenders along with good customer service and knowledge of drinks. I noticed some other patrons had old-fashioned and two other customers ordered a raspberry glider, which sounded interesting. I had never heard of that before, but apparently it's a popular drink for this bar. Lol. This particular day I have a nice crisp Sauvignon Blanc for $15 and I noticed the bartender picked up my glass as well as my glass and checked it before he poured. Very polite of him to do so especially since I know everything he got all the sanitizer was clean, but sometimes there's hiccups. We enjoyed the environment and we could hear the music and carry on our conversation while enjoying our drinks. I will definitely be back again!

The Staggering Gentleman - Stagg, Benedictine, and Nux Alpina Walnut liqueur.

San Pedro Square was a convenient place to wait out the Uber pricing surge and console myself after a loss over at the Shark Tank. Three Sisters had an above average selection of whiskey and craft cocktails for just such an occasion. I also appreciated that it appeared their whiskey shelves hosted bottles in alphabetical order. I sat at the bar, as one does after a particularly trying hockey game, and enjoyed The Staggering Gentleman - Stagg, Benedictine, and Nux Alpina Walnut liqueur. Service was quick and friendly, despite the bar being pretty busy. I observed several patrons being in their food from other San Pedro Square tenants to enjoy with their cocktails. Hopefully my next trip will be after a win.

Monogrammed ice is a nice touch

Not the friendliest staff for sure. You'd think the bartenders were doing us a favor taking orders and pouring three drinks. But not to let that get us down, the place is still pretty cool and they have some good whiskeys. Enjoyed some Japanese whiskey on the rocks. I should say one big square rock of ice which was nice in itself. I've been here a couple times and despite not receiving that welcome feeling, I'll probably come again.

Drinks: Can't go wrong with any of the beers featuring Barebottle, Faction, and other CA breweries! I'm particularly impressed that the bartenders ask if I prefer egg whites on my Whiskey Sour - yes, please ! Egg whites make this cocktail authentic :) Ambiance: great place for groups of ~4-6. We noticed that a few tables were reserved for an event so it was cool to learn that hosting is possible by coordinating with San Pedro. Looking forward to my next visit. San Pedro is overall a nice place to watch sports or if you're lucky, see live musicians perform.

Bit of an older crowd but everyone was very welcoming. Drinks were very yummy and service was fast. Had live music which was a plus, great ambiance.

My friend and I came here on a Friday evening. There was a short line at the bar to order, but that is to be expected on a Friday. I ordered a raspberry drink that was pretty tasty. The bartender was friendly and quick with making the drinks. As this bar is in San Pedro Square, it can get pretty crowded. However, it is right next to one of the outdoor seating areas. It makes it pretty easy to grab a drink at the bar and find a seat somewhere inside or outside. The decor of the bar is attractive. I'm sure I'll be back in the future.

raspberry drink and a new passion fruit tequila drink
    Michelle V.

I've been here twice and always had a good time. The bartenders are friendly and whip up your drinks fast. As things are beginning to open up again and San Pedro was crowded for Friday, there was a long line of people waiting for drinks, but they often took it to the patio. This time, we got a raspberry drink (that's apparently a staple), and I was going to get a cucumber jalapeño drink but the bartender recommended I try one of their newest drinks, which had tequila and passion fruit. I left to the bathroom while my friend paid but man, I think the bartender really hooked it up with my drink because it was strong! Despite having passion fruit, I would say the bitterness (from the alcohol) reminded me of a grapefruit flavor. It was fruity and strong but unfortunately for me, I just wanted a drink to have with my pizza and I was not planning on barhopping that night (it would've been great if I did though!). The raspberry drink on the other hand... PLEASE get it!!! It was so delicious I cannot even begin to tell you. I love eating raspberries and this was a refreshing, slightly sweet raspberry drink that wasn't too sour and I could barely taste the alcohol. This could've been dangerous because I loved it so much. Funnily enough, I chased the passion fruit drink with the strawberry drink. Always a fun time at Three Sisters.

    Rubee Springs

Great cocktails! I came here for some drinks on a Friday night and was able to easily grab a table outside of San Pedro Square Market. You order drinks through their QR code link and then they are brought out to your table, which I thought was very convenient (and makes it easy to split the check)! I started with the Rubee Springs, which was delicious and pretty strong (in a good way), too. My date got a cocktail that wasn't on the menu (he went inside to order it), which I believe was called the Captain Jack Sparrow. That one was also fantastic, and tasted very tropical and rum heavy. I ended the night with the Raspberry Hanglider - probably my favorite! Incredibly refreshing but it costs an extra $5 to make it a double, which I thought was a little excessive. I'll be back for the delicious cocktails and fun atmosphere!

Outdoor seating (entrance to San Pedro Square Market)

Three Sisters is located inside San Pedro Square Market, a lively food court in downtown San Jose (though not so much during COVID). The staff is friendly and I appreciated the suggestion from the bartender to try one of their specials, the Raspberry Hang Glider, instead of the raspberry lemon drop (the original drink that I ordered). It was good, pretty much the same thing except the RHG had more raspberry flavor than lemon. Though the customer service isn't bad, the whole purpose of a bar is to serve good alcoholic beverages. I've been here more than once, and the drinks are really weak, which almost makes it not worth your money... simple cocktails like jack and coke. San Pedro Square Market Bar, which is located across the hall in the same building, serves better drinks (and I've had a lot in the past to compare). The atmosphere has a great vibe, and currently outdoor seating is available and was no problem finding on a Saturday afternoon, but probably only because so many businesses here are currently closed still (if you come on a regular day/night, this place is typically crowded).

2026 WORLD CUP WATCH PARTY "TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS"…read more Whenever there was a World Cup I would go to pubs to drink, eat, and watch. Since the USA was co-hosting the 2026 World Cup along with Mexico and Canada I wanted to see if there was a World Cup watch party worth going to. San Jose is the perfect city in the Bay Area to watch the World Cup as the Earthquakes play there. After searching on the web, San Jose Earthquakes were hosting World Cup watch parties at San Pedro Square Market. The first game I attend for the World Cup watch party was USA-Paraguay. I have a stake on this game. I bought three games at Levi's Stadium for the World Cup including the Round of 32 with the first-place winner of Group D, which USA is in. I waited in anticipation for this 6:00 PM game. I was amazed to witness USA ahead 3-0 at halftime. The second half I was concerned when Paraguay scored, but at the end USA won 4-1. With this result I was 50% sure the USA would finish first in Group D. People celebrated and danced after USA won. I knew I had to come back to San Pedro Square Market. The second USA game I watched here was against Australia on Juneteenth. The day after USA beat Paraguay, Australia shockingly beat Turkey 2-0. The stage was set. USA would move to the Round of 32 if they beat Australia. At halftime USA was ahead 2-0. The game ended with that final score. I was 90% sure USA would finish first in their group. (Later that night Turkey lost to Paraguay that resulted USA finishing first in Group D.) The scenes at San Pedro Square Market were great after the USA's wins with the DJ playing hip hop songs the crowd danced to. However I want to make a request to the DJ. At Seattle after USA beat Australia John Denver's song "Take Me Home, Country Roads" was played inside the stadium with the fans singing. Please DJ to get the crowd hype for the next USA games play "Take Me Home, Country Roads". I guarantee the attendees at San Pedro Square Market will make the atmosphere the loudest World Cup watch party in the Bay Area.

Love this spot, especially before a Sharks game! The atmosphere is great and full of Sharks fans!…read moreWe sat near the window so we could people watch while we ate and drank. To drink, we ordered the 34-ounce Drake's Juicy Hoot Hazy IPA, which was HUGE, but definitely fun. For food, we split the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, and it was AMAZING! The meat was cooked perfectly, the bun was soft, and the cheese was incredibly gooey and delicious. It also had bell peppers, onions, and jalapeños mixed in, which added great flavor. Surprisingly, it wasn't spicy at all. In fact, I didn't even realize there were jalapeños in it until I read the ingredients later while writing this review. All I knew at the time was that the cheesy, peppery goodness made every bite incredible. The staff were all super nice and friendly, which we appreciated. I would have given 5 stars, but there were a couple small things. When we first walked in it felt extremely warm inside, even though it wasn't hot outside, so I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't working or if it was just an off day?? Also, when our food arrived we still didn't have silverware or napkins, so I had to get up and ask the hostess for them. Since we were splitting the sandwich, it also would have been nice if a small plate had been brought out initially. I ended up putting my half on a napkin until we later asked our server for a plate. Our server was very friendly and apologized right away though, so it may have just been a busy moment. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

The guy at the door gave us menus and said a server would be with us shortly. It was a while before a server ever came out to us and required us asking the door man again for a server. The server seemed in a rush, which I somewhat get but seemed to want to cut us off after every item we ordered (I ordered food and she immediately went "is that it for you guys" and my buddy hadn't ordered food yet.) Food came out and I was severely disappointed by the portion sizes of the brisket and had I known I would've ordered something else. I also noticed the menu online and the physical menus there were different (ie. online says the plate comes with two sides menu there says one side, menu there has chicken, online doesn't). To end it off, my buddy asked for a box, and the waitress dropped off the bill for us to sign and she just walked off and we couldn't find her so my buddy had to go inside to the bar to get a box. Overall decent environment, but service and food was not worth the price
