I would not recommend the salon to anybody. I'm trying to get a refund but they say they don't offer and since I signed that paper they just want me to come in and have somebody else do my hair. Now if any man knows where to get a good deal in the Sandhills, it's that man so how could I resist. I enjoy the pleasures of man-themed pampering as much as the next guy (I think?) so I drug my willing girlfriend down to do a little shopping along the streets and shops of downtown aberdeen - on another note, if you haven't been to Aberdeen lately, you'd be surprised to find the quality of stores down there. That is for another review I guess. So I arrived and was greeted by some good ole boys and man they have a good thing going. First off there isn't a whole lot of competition because for no good reason that I can see men haven't been allowed to enjoy the good old barber shop experience. Until now that is. The owner is a young guy who knows what he is doing and may be in the running for my first regular grooming destination since I was a small child. The haircut was professional, the atmosphere is up and coming with what I'm sure will be a few hiccups but all in all this establishment deserves five stars for originality - albeit retro -, service, price and overall customer experience.' There may be other barbers in the area but this will be my stop next Saturday to get the weekly cut. I may go for the straight razor shave again just because it's a cool experience, who really cares that a gillette in my own hand will beat it out in terms of speed and accuracy but then again that isn't the point after all anyway.
