We were in town from another state to work. We never cheat on our hair guy because I am picky. Didn't have time to get in before leaving town. So once we got to cali we found this location. We got Nicole. I usually feel bad for people that have to deal with me on something I am picky about. She nailed it. She took her time listening when I told her what I usually get. She cut my hair EXACTLY like I get it from my guy back home! 5+ stars for going above and beyond! Next time we work in this area I'll be back in for sure! Originally I gave a review of one star due to a negative experience. My original post is below and then my updated after management resolved the situation. Thank you to the owners and manager for resolving the situation quickly and providing great service. I stopped in today to get my hair trimmed. I have been going here for a while and normally have a great experience. So the woman who cut my hair, I don't know her name, but she has dark hair with white/light grey bangs is looking at my hair and asked me what I normally get. I have what is called an undercut where the top part of my hair is in a bob like hair cut and underneath is shaved. I have super thick hair and with the summers we have in Rancho Cucamonga, it's the only way I don't get overheated in the summer. She moves my hair up, sees it, and replies "Oh my God, I thought it was just a little under, but oh my God it is a full undercut." I ignored what she said and had her trim my hair. She did what I asked, but I could sense she did not want to cut my hair. She was very tense and I didn't say a thing. When she finished she said, "Can I do anything else for you?" I asked her to please dry my hair. She picked up the hairdryer, quickly went around, and put the dryer back. My hair was still damp when she stopped. Then she said to me "Now, is there anything else I can do for you today." I knew then I had to leave, that I was not welcome there. She did not show me the back of my hair and I can feel it is not even. I tucked my damp hair behind my ears and did my best to fix my hair with my fingers. When I was paying one of the stylists came over, I have a feeling it was the supervisor. She glared at the girl who cut my hair and had her hands on her hips. I knew thank goodness when I left the situation was going to get addressed. She knew that she had been rude to me and knew she was in trouble for it. I would appreciate if management or the owners would contact me. I have gone in the past and received great service but today was unacceptable. I hope that this was just a one time bad experience. UPDATE: After I had this experience, I received a call from Shari who is the manager. She apologized to me for what had happened and invited me back to see how my hair was. She trimmed everything and got everything evened out. She then gave me the hours of the stylist who normally cuts my hair so I can go in on the days she is available. I just want to thank the management and owners for addressing the issue so quickly and making sure that my hair was done properly. If you have a bad experience here, please contact the manager. They will resolve the issue in a timely manner which is why I will continue to be a customer of theirs. read more

I was here this afternoon and I took my two-year-old grandson and my daughter gave this man he's short with glasses bald I did not get his name but he did not give him a good haircut and cut part of his little ear and in the back I asked him how much it costs and he said it was $17 for kids I told him that I've gotten cleanups is an adult. To make the story short I asked him if I could get a military veteran discount and he said that it would cost me more if you were to give me a veteran discount I said OK that's fine but then I just happened to read where it ask the tip and I said I'm sorry I can't give you a tip in the man my grandson was cut the man got upset and he said that I came and was disruptive by asking what the price was I said I am a veteran can I get a discount it and he said it's only for you not for the baby and he says you come here and disrupt this place AND CALLED ME AN ASSHOLE I said sir why would you call me this. i said sir I am a veteran how can you call me this when all I did is asked for a discount my grandson is 2 years old. Generally the ladies that work here do a great job and are polite. I will not be returning to this place again. read more

All I can say is that you get what you pay for, which is a cheap haircut by people who need a lot more experience in their field. The management staff also needs to have a lot more training in customer service and how to deal with customers. read more

Bad first time experience here. Used a gift card. Asked for the balance of gift card ($8.00) in cash, as required for amounts under $10 by CA law, and they refused to cash out the balance of my card. Made them aware of the law and gave them time to right their mistake. Employee called owner and owner said she also was unwilling to comply with the CA law on gift cards. All I wanted was to not carry gift card and I probably would have come back if they hadn't treated me so poorly after asking to cash my gift card out. Having tried all the local men's hair cut places I'll be going back to Jerry's Barber Shop catacorner to the Von's shopping Center. Best men's cut in the area. read more

My first time since "the new owner took over". Melissa gave me the best haircut I've had in a very long time. She was extremely friendly, but not in that stupid fake kind of way like other stylists are. She was just really chill and cool and genuinely a nice person (and pretty nice to look at, too). It's rare when you go to one of these chain haircut places for stylists to really take pride in what they do, but Melissa seriously took her time on me, made sure it was done *right*. I think that's awesome. She was even totally up front about being "a little obsessive" with getting hair correct. A fantastic haircut from a very very cool person. I will actually make the drive from Claremont again just because of this cut. My advice is to see to it that you get Melissa to take care of you... you won't be sorry! read more

lady that cut my hair was very inviting and nice. i appreciated that most. she was very friendly. online check in saved time. i asked for a shorter hair cut and we decided on a blunt cut. the two stars is for her personality, she made me very comfortable and gave me styling tips. the hair cut was less than 15 minutes and when i checked my hair cut at home, it was uneven and not a very good cut. luckily, my hair is wavy and i am not that picky but i dont think i will be coming back. i think the upland great clips is better and takes more care of cutting hair. considering the price and the tip for the hair cut, its pretty expensive for the time they spend on you. not worth it. Mr. Acquino, I visit your salon very often. The thing that most customers don't like about your salon as that you rotate your staff around. Just when you get someone that can cut your hair well, you rotate to them to another store. Also your staff does not like to be rotated. When you have a happy staff you have a better business. If you were making your employees happy your customers will be happy as well. I come in there and sometimes my haircut is so badd I have to go home and fix it myself. You should find a way for customers to rate your employees so you know who to keep and who not to keep. And particular Silvia when she cuts my hair it is the worst. I've gotten to where I will not come in the store if I see her. read more

I checked in online and was told 0 "zero" minutes. When we walked in we were told 10 minutes. So we walked outside and set my alarm for 10 minutes. When the buzzer went off we walked back in only to be told by Kailyn (not sure about her spelling) that it would be 15 additional minutes, because we didn't stay in and wait. She looked right at us and took someone else who was after us because we didn't wait inside? I wish she had told me that even if we come back in time, we will be overlooked because we walked outside. As we were paying she offered me $2 off my sons haircut, which I appreciate. I still would've preferred a kind response. I gave 3 stars because the actual stylist, Angie was nice and did a good job. I went on New Years Eve for a haircut and the two chairs were full so I had to wait. I was greeted immediately and they took my information and let me know how long the wait was. My experience once I got in the chair was fast and friendly and I had a great experience. While I was in the chair, four other people came in and had to wait. Even though the wait grew, I never felt like my cut was rushed. Cost was $13 for a mans hair cut prior to tip. I will go back again. read more

My boy goes here ALL the time. He lives right down the street and goes no where else. I like it here because it's cute. It divides stations with these flag like things that add color to the salon. Haircuts are around $15. And that's pretty good for what they do! I just got my trimmed and relayered and it was only $15. I used to get it somewhere else and pay around $20+. It's only five dollars, but they said if I wanted it shorter, they would do it for me, FREE OF CHARGE. That's pretty sweet. My other place wouldn't do that They are ALWYAS super friendly. Always super nice and happy. Definitely one of those who like to chit chat with you, which I enjoy. My boy says he's always in and out, because its not that crowded! I like because I don't like waiting in line! It's cute. It's cheap. And I like it. Go here! (: Maybe I'll meet you there! Thanks to my wife she recommended to check out Great Clips after seeing the sign waver. I've had a hair stylist for 15 years who cut my hair, but now I'm on a budget and needed to fit in my bi weekly cuts. I walked in the store and was immediately greeted. He asked if I had checked in online and I had not. He put in my info and said the wait would be 20 minutes. I was curious why he asked if I checked in online so after finding the Great Clips app online I quickly downloaded the app and checked in for practice. The app was awesome. It somehow had the exact time of when my cut was going to be. My next cut will be planned with the app. My name was called and I was greeted by Alana. She was very personable and my wife thought she was very professional with her confidence. She had my profile, but suggested some ideas to make my hair stand better. I took her advice and she cut my hair way better then my stylist of 15 years. Change is good and I appreciate the experience I had today. Alana is my new stylist and I will be her long term customer. Normally, I wouldn't complain about a place that didn't get services from, but I feel like my time was wasted. You are supposed to check in online, which I did. It said our appointment time was in 62 minutes. That was fine. They said they would text me 15 minutes in advance. I didn't want to risk being late so I left a little early. It was definitely 62 minutes by the time I got there. We waited for about 45 min and left. I can't sit there all day. Isn't that the point of checking in. I went back home. They called me a little after 2:30 to find out if I was coming back. That's about 2 and a half hours after check in and about an hour and half after I should have been called. There weren't a lot of people in there when we arrived. There was only one man getting a cut and then a mom came to have her son's hair cut. Ultimately, it wasn't a good experience and I am so glad I didn't waste anymore time or money. I had four kids to get cut and I think we would have been there all day. The funniest part was the message. It was kind of attitudinal. Like it's almost your time and I need to know if you're coming back. They eventually texted me at 2:52 to let me know my time would be in 15 minutes. Nearly three hours after I checked in online, they were finally ready for me. No, we're never coming back. read more

So I check in online which they always suggest. It says I have one person a head of me and the wait is 5 mins. I get there and there are three people ahead of me and they tell me there is a wait. They call 2 other people ahead of me and I walk out. What's the point of checking in online with a 5 min wait when that's not what's really happening? i will no longer go here. Horrible service most of the time and complete lack of acknowledgement. Waited at the front for a good several minutes as 3 chairs were being used and no one bothered to even look at us. Even worse, one stylist (if you want to call her that) was on break reading a magazine and came to the front and didn't even say a word to us and then went back to her seat. What a joke....that lady is there most of the time and the look on her face says"I don't give a _____ about the job or you. Those of you who go here will know who I mean. One thing that bugged me too is that fact that this is the only location on the mobile app that doesn't display or participate in the check in online program. Each month, they had told me that it was being worked on and that started 6 months ago. After this, I called the customer service corporate line and was told that I would be called back. No call. So much for customer service. Done with this place. Maybe I just have the worst location closest to my home. This aside, I will say that there is one stylist by the name of Debbie who is excellent but her schedule is limited so she isn't there too often. Too bad. I felt motivated to do this because I hope it acts as a public service for anyone ever thinking to come here themselves. Don't Worse haircut I have had in years. Not even at all after multiple attempts top point it out to the stylist. During the whole process the stylist was obviously nervous and unsure of herself and what she was doing. After sitting there for over 45 minutes trying to get this simple haircut (2 on the sides 4 on top) done I gave up and just settled with what I had, opting to attempt to fix it myself at home. I am not picky to be honest, just make it look even and I am happy... but when I walk in to my apartment and am greeted with "WTF happened to your hair" I can definitely say I have had a bad experience. read more
