Great location!! Easy parking in this large shopping center. Staff is always welcoming and nice. Stock of items to purchase, as shampoos, conditioners are always in stock. Easy to make an appointment online or even check the waitlist to add yourself. I'm pretty sure this is the 3rd time I've had Christina wash and cut my hair. She is wonderful, funny and knows exactly what she is doing with style and scissors. I explain to her what I'm looking for and just give her the reins. It's just hair, it will grow back. So I'm always down for whatever she recommends on inches for my cut. She is very kind. I've so far made it to my appointment reminder of scheduling with her 6-8 weeks. I may have been a bit later but only by 2 weeks. Sooo happy with my haircuts with her! All the other young ladies are so kind and welcoming. Got to meet 4 other lovely ladies today! I went in on a same day appointment I had booked online for a full head of highlights and a cut. I showed Lisa a few pictures and explained to her my vibe and she was so detailed in her analysis and explanation of what we should do. It came out amazing. I'm sort of an introvert but she made me feel very comfortable. Since my service was so long I saw a few women come and go and every style looked amazing and they were all smiling. For context, my mom cut my hair my entire life from when I was a baby. I made an appointment for hair dyeing and another Victoria took my place. I was there until after closing time and my hair was super blotchy. Not only that but while I was there a man came in with a woman who didn't speak and the woman who worked on her came up to the man doing MY hair and said she suspected trafficking and that the woman had open scabs all over her scalp and that it was gross. This was AFTER she had worked on her and the odd couple left SUPER UNSANITARY!! She started panicking and crying saying she had to go to hospital see if she had anything right in front me. You are not supposed to work on someone with open cuts to prevent disease and contagious things. Not only was this gross but she panicked blatantly in front of me calling her bf fearing for her life sobbing. First of all if you suspect trafficking call the police!!!! Second you contaminated everything that you used on that customer and could totally spread something! So unprofessional!! I should've left! Another time a little black girl came in with her dad and a woman made gross faces at the girls hair bc it was tangled...as curly hair is. And told her she should really comb her hair and roughly raked her dry curls. She made faces the whole time and kept grunting angry. I could tell her combing the little girls hair hurt her too. Don't make others feel bad for your lack of knowledge on hair--your literal profession. It broke my heart. That memory will probably always stick with her. I asked for a hair treatment after and my hair felt so healthy afterwards like I didn't even get bleach. They have good prices for hair products there too. This is my second time going to this location and my experience this time was way better than my first. Because the last hairstylist gave a haircut that I wasn't well pleased with, I asked for Lupita who was my mom's hairstylist for as long as I could remember. And she was definitely the right choice! I asked for a wolf cut based on the picture I gave her and it turned out perfectly. Love, love this place. It has been over a year since my family has stepped foot into a salon. This salon made us feel very safe and welcome. Lisa did my girls' haircuts. I got mine done the following week. I requested purple hair, and boy, did I get purple hair! Lisa did a fabulous job. This salon has a full range of colors. Super skiddish to go to a Fantastic Sams, but I took my mother and her stylist was so great to her and I noticed HOW she cut so I thought I'd try. My stylist retired and moved to Bullhead City so I was lookin like a lil hobo!!!! I generally get my hair done every five (5) weeks, it had been over seven (7) months......THAT is how paralized I was to find a new person. Went in today after having a horrible morning hoping to brighten my mood with a little self care. I was attended to immediately for my 12 appointment and my hairdresser got right to it. After describing exactly what I wanted she went to work on my hair. The banter was nice and hairdresser was friendly enough. Although she was very kind, my hair cut was not up to par. Upon my arrival home I looked into the mirror and after asking for curtain bangs I was left with not only bangs that were too short but also lopsided. Went for a cut and style today. I had an appointment and was told it would be with a lady named Teresa I believe. Immediately was taken by a male stylist (not too sure what his name was) he did a overall good job on my cut. I asked for curtain bangs and he seemed certain to know what curtain bangs were. He starts pulling hair pieces out to start my bang pieces to cut and cuts bangs straight across like normal forehead bangs. Nothing like curtain bangs. I should've showed a picture of what the style of my hair was but he seemed confident in knowing what curtain bangs are. Again I definitely should've showed him a picture of what exactly I wanted but he asked zero questions and seemed like he 100% knew what they were. So overall not a bad cut it went by very fast. She seemed a bit distracted and this flustered demeanor about her like she had only been cutting hair for a very short time and was fresh outta cosmo school. I talked with owner outside and asked him how long she had been cutting hair professionally and he said a couple years. I call bullshit on that one. Either he was full of shit and lying to me or she completely bullshited her resume to him. Either way I will not be returning to that location as long as she's working there. My stylist, Lupita, had to answer the phone no less than 4 times while cutting my hair, She was trying to cut my hair while having the phone at her ear. She kept apologizing for the interruption. Needless to say, when I got home to blow dry my hair only to realize how uneven my hair was. The worst haircut ever. After contacting Lupita, she said if I would have let her blow dry my hair she would have noticed how uneven it was. My elderly mother had a terrible experience here. A friend referred her to Edith, so she made an appointment to have her hair cut by Edith. When she arrived, she told them 3 times she has an appointment with edith. After she got the haircut she was telling the lady who she thought was Edith to cut the ends of her bangs more because THAT'S HOW SHE WANTS THEM! The stylist refused! The absolute worst hair cuts EVER. They are incapable of a basic men's and women's hair cuts. They are incapable of doing a fade which is fine but they should be honest about it. They claim they can perform a fade and utterly failed. Avoid at all costs. The customer service is also poor. No greeting when you enter.
