I took my daughter. She is special needs and has an issue with knotted matted hair. The lady my daughter was matched with was told that my daughter was there to specifically help unknot her hair. I would imagine that a salon is the place to go for a hair emergency. I would NOT recommend this place for a child, a special needs child or any sort of hair emergency. The lady was yapping away loudly and embarrassed my daughter terribly. I was willing to pay extra because I understood that this was a situation. She told her that her mother needs to teach her to brush her hair and that her hair was gross and matted. She didn't finish and charged for what she did which made her hair much worse. This is not the first bad experience I had here but it will be the last. I don't recommend this salon at all and I will be filing a complaint against this so called professional. read more

I've been coming here for years. I wear my straight hair long, so a trim is a relatively simple cut. That said, I expect an occasional not great haircut for the price point, and it has been hit or miss over the years. Recently I had a comically bad experience and will not be back. I literally came home and cut my bangs because it didn't look like he did anything. I was yelled at for being a walk-in. I'm a regular customer who tips %50 to %100. The man with the gray hair harassed me out of the store because I did not sign in online prior to 7pm. I would like to go back as Ton and many other stylists do a great job. I would consider if the man apologized as he made me feel threatened because I was not jewish. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! I was denied a service at this location because the gentleman doing hair did not want to complete it. He would rather take two men's haircut over a woman. This is discrimination. I contacted corporate right away. I was told the store owner would be in touch and it's been a week. The lack of concern over this matter is disgusting. Walk ins are welcome but checking in on line is recommend due to the Covid-19. My sons precious barber use to work here but I discovered today she is no longer with the company. Great clips reminds me of hair Cuttery but less commotion and more space. I can't remember the barbers name but he was very friendly. I usually get my son hair cut low and shaped up but the barber said he didn't have the clippers to give him the hair cut I desired. I was diagnosed & still battling with Cancer. The Manager Jenn and The Assistant Manager Karen were so amazing, understanding and private. Jenn cut my hair shorter as requested on 8/17; but then the illness decided to Matt my hair even more on 8/20 which forced me to have it shaven off completely. It was a very upsetting & emotional time for me as my hair kept falling and burning from the Chemo. Both ladies kept me calm and one even prayed with me. I appreciated their thoughtfulness more than they know. and I want everyone to know that the place was clean, the staff professional and empathetic to their customers. First time here, won't be the last. Needed a haircut, badly! Came in, was taken immediately by Jackie. Very nice, friendly, talkative, kept the conversation flowing while quickly getting rid of several inches of hair. After which, I had asked for a shampoo to clean up my scalp and get rid of the flakes that always remain after a buzz cut. I was in there 15, maybe 20 minutes and all was taken care of. Not to mention how inexpensive it was. Great service, highly recommend, and definitely ask for Jackie as she definitely knows what she is doing. read more

I arrived with my two sons (ages 5 and 7) and they told me that I had to wait outside in the cold while they had their haircuts. The manager claim it is bc of covid,(had no written guidelines to share) but if I only had one child, I would have been able to stand with my child. That's a lot of is a liability to take on- to require a parent to be out of the building. (There were only 5-6 people in the store at the time) On top of that my five year old was moving around and I couldn't be there to help settle him- the haircut turned out horrible. I usually stand with him him and encourage him to get through it. This is not covid- it's a power tripped manger making absolutely no logical sense- and this could present huge liability issues if a child is injured and a parent is forced to stand outside. read more

The people who cut your hair are very friendly and well experienced, the store is clean it's a pleasure to go in there and then make accommodations for whatever you need. My only complaint is that they don't color hair they just cut it and I would like a full service salon and not have to go to a tree place to get my hair done. read more

This was a very bizarre service. The hair dresser Jackie was completely unfriendly and refused to provide a quick shampoo (stating she doesn't have time for that today) even though I checked in over half an hour before close. She finished up with my haircut very quickly (didn't even explain to me what she sprayed in my hair) and it clearly showed that me coming in for a haircut was an inconvenience to her. I guess she doesn't like to cut hair. She quickly checked me out without a single kind word. Other hairdressers there like Ton are amazing but beware of Jackie. read more

I have been coming here since I stopped coloring my hair, and went with a short cut. Both Jackie and Ashley are great at what they do. My hair had not been trimmed in 4 months, and I did not realize Jackie was there....so I went with Ashley. I was a bit scared, but no reason to be.....she did a great job. This place is amazing! You can receive a nice cut and blow dry....for less than a home mortgage. :-) In addition to that....it is actually a GREAT cut.!! Plenty of stores surrounding this shop......win ...win. read more

The on line check in worked great and my son was taken back right away. However the haircut was poor. He was in the chair maybe 10 minutes. I asked as we walked out if she even cut the top part and he said yes- some. Upon further inspection, his sides by his ears were cut completely different. One side was cut above his ear and one had a slight sideburn past his ear. He had to "fix" this when we got home. Don't leave without checking the cut you receive. read more

This was a good haircut and service for the price. I have long hair and it cost $14. I didn't have an appointment but didn't have to wait. They were relatively busy but they also had several people cutting hair and were quite efficient. Service was professional, quick and I felt comfortable. It's located in Quarry Lake and so parking is free and convenient. Based on my experience, I would recommend it for a quick, simple hair cut. I will be returning. But I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a "salon experience". read more

When i go to Great Clips i get a number 2 crewcut. Nothing fancy. I pay cash. There is no reason for them to know my name or phone number. When i tell them i am not going to give them name they alway have an attitude. Last time i went there and they insisted for a name i said Donald Trump. The one great thing about this Pandemic is i bought my own set of clippers. I now give myself a crewcut and save 15 dollars. I also don't have to put up with their crap. read more

I tried to get a haircut for my son. When I called to ask if they took walk-ins I was told they would not provide that information over the phone. I was instructed to go to their website and "check in." Too much of a hassle and an obvious attempt to gather my personal information. We went to the locally owned barber shop instead. Great Clips? Horrendous! Came in for a toddler cut. Checked in, were waiting and kept moving DOWN the list. After 45 minutes went from #3-4 to #20 and were told there would be at least another 60 minute wait! Were told that people checking in online were bumping us down and we would just have to wait. Left and will never come back. read more

I love this great clips location! They are friendly and prompt. My suggestion? Always check in using the app or you could face an hour or more wait on a weekend. I always go in to see Jackie. She is fast, super friendly, and always cuts my hair perfectly. Although I have had my hair cut by others, Jackie is my favorite because of her awesome cuts. read more
