During my first appointment, I could immediately tell that everyone who works there is a true professional and cares a great deal about their work. After having my second baby, my hair went through a bit of a crazy phase. I was pretty nervous to have a new stylist cut and color it. But now, I feel like my hair has never looked better! I've never had my hair colored, gone seven weeks with growth and searched for grays. Not sure what my stylist is doing, but it's magical. Length... hello! My hair has grown a significant amount since moving over. We don't trim each visit and I can feel how much healthier my hair is. All around, great experience. My hair hasn't been healthier. I changed nothing in regards to my at home routine. I wholly contribute all good hair things to the products and care during salon appointments. Staff are friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. The space itself is clean and thoughtful. Parking is a cinch.

Balance is probably great -- IF you have naturally straight hair. No good if you have literally any other texture hair. My thick, dense, curly hair was totally mishandled. I went home, showered out all the zillion little cut hairs left within my locks and on my shoulders, and then got a really good look at a really bad haircut. They made me look like an A-framed poodle having a stroke. When I went back to my usual salon I was told: "They gave you an expert haircut for somebody else -- somebody WITHOUT your hair!" Any wavy, curly, coily girls: spend your $100 elsewhere! And, lastly, let me give a preemptive no thank you: I don't need any snarky responses or a "Who, me??!" from the owners or employees of Balance who read this review. I missed the head massage and hot towel treatment I used to get at the Aveda Salon I frequented in Florida. My first salon experiences in this area incorporated lukewarm hair washing water and no head massage. I couldn't do it anymore. Soiree knocks the hair washing service out of the park. They have their own crew completely responsible for washing hair, massaging scalps and providing hot towel treatments. My daughter likes it so much that one time I was having my hair taken care of, she just asked if she could have hers washed. They fit her in right in. You best believe there is no lukewarm water here. My haircuts themselves are also top notch. Dani is really good at her job. Not only with the actual cutting and attention to detail with my hair but also with the conversation. I am always sad when the haircut is over. It all goes too quickly. Scheduling and rescheduling appointments is super easy. They send text reminders so that I am never surprised when it pops up on my calendar. I look forward to my visits to Soiree. I know my family feels the same way.
