It's comforting to know I can schedule regularly (about every 7 weeks) and get the same excellent results every time. Although Loanne is my stylist I feel confident that the other stylists would also do an excellent job too from what I have seen. I have observed the clientele to be a mix of young and mature, male and female. There is a happy vibe, pleasant conversations all around, which is an indication that there is good Ownership management. The extremely friendly woman who assisted me on the phone was surprised to learn that people were talking online about her shop. I read Kate's review to her and she was just tickled. I knew instantly this salon had the kind of personality I'd just love. Nikki greeted me when I walked in, and I was instantly at ease with her. We talked like old friends. I've long believed that a good hair dresser needed three skills - the artistic, the technical and the social skills to keep somebody comfortable sitting still in a chair. Nikki has all the above in enormous measure! She's just great. I showed her a picture I'd printed of what I was after with my hair. i was walking in to get my haircut and as i was in the parking lot i saw a friend of mine who had just got done w his haircut we were chatting a lil bit and he told me something that i thought people should know. he said if u go in there dont get joanne because she just went off on me about someone who used to work there. he said that he had asked her where did amy go and she got all defensive and started to bad talk this amy person. so i told him well if u felt uncomfortable why dont you tell the manager? he said that she was the manager ....WHAT?!? i said i was in shock. you see i am a manager for a grocery company and i think if i ever did that to an ex employee i would just be disgusted w myself. that is poor workmanship and unprofessional and just plain out rude. so i went somewhere else to get my haircut . i know im not all high and mighty but if u dont have anything nice to say then dont say it at all-ging back to preschool days. read more

I went in the other night when Agnes and Joanne was working and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not be going back I was ignored for 15 min. And did not get a cut because I left. I've been before and the ladies that help are always so nice whoever put these two that I mentioned to work there should be fired. Like I said I've been there before and I always have to tell the lady that checks me in that I do not want Agnes so once I saw her working I got nervousness then I saw the other lady Joanne and how she talks to people and I didn't want either of them plus I was ignored so that just set me over ... It's really quite simple. You cut my hair, I give you money. In both of my experiences here, they have failed to hold up on their end of the deal. Both times I have gotten home to find that I have to finish the haircut myself. For those who are wondering, I shave my head with a #1, so there really isn't much room for error. As long as the end result is all the hair is even, then you passed. I would have given only one star, but there was some decent eye candy working there and that is worth something right? Nothing good enough to warrant a return trip though. read more

After a few minutes ago an older Asian lady came up to me and said she would take me. We made small talk as she washed and shampoo my hair. When I tried to stand up and show her exactly what I was talking up, she wouldn't let me out of the chair. So I tried showing her exactly where I wanted it, like around my armpit, and she was like fine, fine. It was like she wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. When she was done, it was a lot shorter than I wanted. And honestly, I'm okay with it. The only thing I'm not okay with was the customer service. The older Asian lady who did my hair was in such a rush to finish, she didn't listen to what I wanted. She left a piece of my long wet hair on her table with stuff and she didn't blow dry my hair when it was done. I looked like a wet mop. The haircut in general was fine but the customer service was horrible. When you go to a place for some kind of service you are suppose to feel welcomed. I didn't feel that at all. So the next time I get a haircut I'm gonna stick to my regular salon. They may cost more but at least they have better service. I'M NEVER COMING BACK HERE
