Today I went in for my haircut and the person who cut my hair last didn't update the notes. So Roxeann asked me if I wanted it the same and I said yes. Then she says a 6 on top and I said yes. She starts and curing my hair with the clippers (a good 3/4 of my head) then the front of my hair was super long. Basically it came out horrible. There was NO style to it. I literally looked like a chia pet. My hair was just round. No texture. I told her I didn't like it. That he didn't use the clippers on me before. "Well he didn't update the notes and I get screwed" I look at Roxeann because she's making this about her when my hair looks horrible. Then makes me feel like it's my fault because she told me "well I ask you if a 6 was ok" how can you be a hairstylist and don't know how to style hair. Bad customer service and it's hit and miss with the quality of hair cuts. I had a very bad experience there today and I don't usually complain with bad service. I usually come to this place and I am very happy but today was a little shock, my haircut was perfect (thanks to Olga) but I was surprise when I went to pay and they bumped up the price for men's haircut from $15 to $19. so that wasn't very fun. No clue why my son and husband liked this place but I won't be back. 2nd time I've brought son here and faced with lousy service. Manager does a terrible job monitoring what customer is next and knows nothing about custom service. Uses COVID "rules" as an excuse. Not to mention online check-in is a joke. Today, manager acknowledged us but then asked for us to wait outside due to COVID rules which we complied. A couple kids showed up after us and waited a bit in the lobby area which caught my attention. I noticed signed and counted number of customers (well under 10), so we came back in (it was cold, rainy and no seats placed outside to wait on and thought maybe Manager had miscounted). Manager instructed stylist, Olga to tell me and my son to go outside due to Covid. I informed them of sign and stylist rambled under breath about, "That includes stylist too!" She started to count and realizing their was less then 10 went on to say, "There can only be two in the waiting area. That's the RULE!" No such sign posted. I was on Facebook an noticed a coupon for $7.99 which I decided to use today. When my cut was done, I presented the coupon and the stylist stated that it is showing used. She also stated that this has happened to numerous customers and it would be accepted, she called the Manager named Jazmine to override the mistake just like they have done for other customers, Jazmine stated that there is nothing I can do, mind you I just saw the coupon on facebook right after leaving Denny's. I accepted the coupon and was at the shop within 10 minutes. Guess I will take mine and my families business elsewhere, there are plenty of other establishments that care about customers!!!!! read more

I really appreciated it, and will come back again. Other times I have done this with other salons, and they spent about 10 minutes and that was it. Seriously the worst haircut I've ever gotten! My hair was long, under my butt long. I went in to get layers, told the lady to cut barley anything off the tips and just give me layers. Of course she doesn't listen and I leave there with my hair mid back length. It took me almost 4 years to grow my hair out for this awful lady that has no idea what she's doing to cut it off in minutes. Worst stylist ever ruby I explained to her that I wanted only a dusting of my ends she then proceeded to tell me she could not do it since it could cut her hands then she continued to criticize my hair and cut hair and allowed it to fly in my face and eyes. I was extremely disappointed she did not offer to wash my hair or even wipe the pieces of cut hair off my face. She then refused to take my $2 off coupon and said it was because it's a franchise. Came in to get my hair fixed after I had paid $55 dollars at a beauty salon, just to get the worst hair cut of my life! I was desperate for a fix, and even though my hair was half chopped in the front and the back long. I was able to get Esmeralda to fix my layers in no time. I went to get a haircut because I was like "I have so much hair it's crazy that it grows so fast, today ima get a fresh cut" so I went in, waited for my turn, sat on the chair of course for the barber to prepare their clipper, the barbers name was "Lu", she was a lady probably or maybe in her 50's, wears glasses, has brown hair was what she looked like, she started cutting my hair, wasn't careful, while she's holding my head and hair rough with no care given and here she's is grabbing on to my head like I'm about to be "beheaded" and starts cutting roughly and fast and I'm like telling her "can you be careful please not to be rude" or like "oh um your kinda rough on me" and she comes up with some dumb stupid response saying "this is how I usually do it". So I'm over here like "did this lady just ignore me", she did not listened and had to come up with some stupid dumb excuse, I can tell that she completely doesn't care about her customers and that she clearly does not know what she's doing. I did not tip her, cause of how she cutted my hair and felt like she does not deserve to get tipped and this is not the first time I had this experience, I've had this experience many times which were Ive gotten tired of it which is where on this review where I finally "snap" and I honestly don't care if I make her feel bad, cause its like what you do comes back to you, like a scorpions stinger. I'm in and out with in 10 minutes whenever I come here. Only $13 for a haircut, which is a plus in my book. However, I have had/seen two horrible experiences that mean I would never recommend this for adults. The first was a few months ago, when they gave a guy a buzz cut instead of a flat top. He was understandably upset, but the staff was insincere in their apology. He got a refund, and after he left the stylist later realized she read his haircut wrong. The second was Super Bowl Sunday. I checked in online, and the wait said 66 minutes. I arrived 66 minutes later only to hear that, since I was not there within an hour, I had to go to the back of the line. We left without a haircut. The dead eyed staff welcomes us very gravely & sluggishly with a "welcome to super cuts" motto - We make the appointment & right away I get taken to a seat- I show CARLA JESUS a picture of what I want- I've had this cut before done at super cuts - I tell her for sure I will need the sides buzzed - she nods & buzzed off a bit but didn't get at all close to the picture - I ask if she's going to take off anymore with the buzzer & she reassures me that "oh I'll cut off the rest of that, it needs to be blended" I get a bad feeling, but I try to stick it out- she then walks away for 5+ minutes to be at the register / looked like she was putting receipt info into the computer , I watch her then start counting the money - I have no idea what she's doing / then she seems to be helping a worker who doesn't know how to check herself out.... In my mind at this point I'm yelling at myself "get up & leave! Nows your chance! This is not a good idea!" I fight the urge to get up cause more people have come in at this point & I don't want to cause a scene by leaving & not paying- Carla comes back with a quick "sorry" - she continues the upcoming massacre... I notice she just starts cutting away my bangs without even asking me about the length to take off- so I tell her & show her I want my bangs to stay right below my eyes- I don't want it any shorter then that - she tells me for the cut it needs to be shorter but I insist I want to keep that length / she says "ok" She cuts off my bangs - lovely. This is a review about Crystal.... be warned to not let her cut your hair if your a female. I made the mistake of wanting layers short notice and my usual hairstylist didn't have appts so I decided to go to Great Clips.... I asked for long layers and what I got was horrible. My hair was below my waist, she cut one layer at my ear, one layer under my shoulders and that was it. She then thinned out from my shoulders to the bottom. I had to cut 6 inches to even it out. It took me so long to grow out. The entire time she was cutting she was saying "hm... hm..." and when she showed me with the small mirror I asked her what the hell did she do?! She said "it'll look better when you dry and style it" If I could give 0 stars I would. Especially for her. I don't know how she got her license or how she is still cutting hair or how she even has a job doing hair. read more
