Listen I was all over the place the other day and couldn't get my son in for a haircut anywhere so I came here last resort. Wish I would have waited til after school started I'd say you get what you pay for but for $7 Or $5 more I get a perfectly fine haircut at the barbershop or from natalie at cool cut for kids . I specifically asked for no straight line at his nape and not to take his sideburns up too short and a good blend in back . Maybe less talking and actually listen to your client. My son asked for a certain haircut. The lady shaved his head instead. Didn't clean up his face or anything after so he had little hair all over the place. Worse haircut experience ever! My son is upset now because she didn't ask what number clippers or anything she only shaved it. Now he looks like he just got out of prison. Big mess up I usually tip well since I work in the tipping industry but since she did what she wanted not what he asked for and didn't even have the common sense to wipe off the excess hair from his face unacceptable. Great haircut! I've finally found a place that gave me the haircut I was looking for.

DO NOT GO HERE First off and most importantly they used dirty clippers that caused my neck and head to break out very badly. That alone should be enough to make you not want to go. Next I'll describe my terrible experience with getting the haircut. At the end of the haircut the older woman (didn't have grey hair from what I remember but I could tell she was probably older than 40 I'm describing her in case you don't listen to my warning so you don't choose this employee) handed me a mirror to see the back of me head and it was not only not a straight consistent line but it looked like i had fangs for a hairline. When I asked her to straighten it she insisted it was straight. I pulled my phone out and asked her to take a picture making it clear that the picture was because it was possible it didn't appear straight due to me seeing it from an angle and not from her perspective. She (with an attitude) said "this isn't a photo shoot I don't need to take a picture" and without warning began cutting the back of my hair (my hand was even in the way but I moved it the second I felt the clipper touch my finger) then after fixing the hairline she began to say that it was now straight and then proceeded to make several remarks along the lines of "now you don't have much hair back there" (it sounded worse than I made it seem) in an attempt to make me feel like an idiot for questioning what she believed to be perfection. I also got my beard shaved and the clippers pulled my hair with every stroke of the clippers. Then after treating me in a way that I feel was disrespectful she had the audacity to tell me how to tip with my card even though the instructions were clear on the card machine. I've never had issues with the great clips on eastern and serene but I'll be spending the extra $10 on my usual barber from now on due to the poor experience at the Silverado ranch and bermuda location. I truly hope the fact that they used dirty clippers deters people from visiting. I know my entire immediate family has chosen to boycott great clips for this reason. read more

We brought our son here to get a fohawk. I showed the barber/stylist a photo of the previous fohawk he had and she said she could do it. It started out okay. She had shaved sides off and left the length of the middle section from the top to back of his head. Next thing you know, she completely shaves the entire back of his head off! I was so upset. I asked her why she that after I asked had specifically asked for a fohawk! All she could say was I'm sorry. She continued to cut his hair, but as minutes went by it was visibly clear that she was having trouble trying to blend in/fade sides to the longer lengths on top of his head. It was looking so terrible. She even gave my son a bald spot about an inches long. She just couldn't it done. It was too unbearable for my husband and I to sit and watch her continue butcher my child's hair. My husband finally had to asked her to stop and requested for another barber to fix what she had done. The new barber said she would try her best but it was going to be a challenge to fix. She was able to fix it up enough to make it look decent, but the cut was still unacceptable and far from what we had asked for. This place is the worst ever! They're lucky we didn't have a special event/function (wedding, etc,..) to attend, because I would have ripped them a new one! If you care about you child's hair, go elsewhere and pay the extra money for a good quality cut. More like "NOT SO GREAT CLIPS"! read more

I usually go to a specific barber in La but I had to get a haircut within an hour and this place was the only place open at 8pm and took walk ins. The haircut came out very good, I was surprised. The lady's were all very nice and gave me some good advice about my scalp dryness due to my move to Vegas. When I got home I noticed a lil piece that wasn't cut properly so I went back and they apologized, fixed it and have me a free shampoo and a discount on some product. Recently went to this location. Figured going 11am on a Friday before thanksgiving break I'd be fine, wrong. Walked in greeted as normal. Saw that most of the ladies were busy with clients/guests understandably I waited. Proceeded to check in told my wait time would be 10-20min got in earlier than that. Was happy, till I saw who was cutting my hair. Workers name was dori. Contrary to finding Nemo this Dori's only rush was to get the tip and on to the next customer. The entire hair cut felt rushed. She barely made an attempt with starting or keeping a conversation. Which I understand some days you just don't wanna be at work, simple as that. But back to the stabbing I mean cutting. She read the previous notes. We went over them explained how I now style my hair. Things went well till she tried "blending" or "fading" my hair. In her rush she just ending up having to redo it and go higher. There was zero talk on how if I liked the back rounded or squared. As a matter of fact she never bothered to show me the end result. Then it came down to what I can imagine a drunk guy thinks even sideburns are. They're not even. They're more like midtown and uptown in New York. When I asked for her to fix something all I got was a roll of the eyes a huff and puff. Seemed like I was begging her to do the job she is paid and tipped for. Like I said I've gone to this location before. Normally you get what you pay for, a decent hair cut. I understand this isn't Paul Mitchell.
