Horrible customer service from the moment I checked in. The staff is rude, condescending, and makes you feel like you're an inconvenience just for being there. It's not just how they treated me, I noticed them speaking to other clients the same way. You might as well cut and style your own hair. I do not recommend this place. Stay away. read more

OK... so this place says "walk ins welcome." I just needed my dead ends trimmed on my hair... no wash, style, anything... so I gave it a shot. It's a bunch of small salons owned by a bunch of separate people... I walked into 2 hair salons and asked if they took walk ins and they acted completely annoyed that I was there and told me I just have to walk from salon to salon to see if someone would take me. Went to this salon for a pandemic relief coloring. Marina was able to do my hair quickly. She did a wonderful job and I absolutely LOVE my hair. Marina has over 20 years experience and it shows, she is very knowledgeable about hair. The salon is very nice and I felt very safe there. My hair has breakage that she pointed out to me and she is going to help me figure out why this is happening. I started going to Khrystyne Kiserow (room16) about 1 year ago and she did my hair 3 times total. The first 2 times she did my hair was good. I wanted change so we went drastic in color. Although she took quite a while, I was happy. The second time was fine as well, still a bit long, but no problem. This last and final time I told her that I wanted it jet black with a partial head of red highlights. When she finished after 4.5 hours I noticed that I didn't see Red hardly at all. She said not to worry that it would start showing. I washed my hair several times, n after 2 weeks there was no red except for my bangs, n the top of my scalp.. I have never complained to her, but I had to say something. I told her about no red except in my bangs, n on my scalp. Her response wasn't at all what I thought it would be. First, she should of apologized, and ask me what can be done to make it look better since I did spend almost $200, but she became very defensive. I told her I wanted to get along but would just like to get it fixed. I sent her picture to see what I was talking about. She said that shd would fix it but I have to pay for product. I asked when was the soonest I could get it fixed, n she said 2 weeks! Crazy, so I said fine, I made that appointment. We scheduled for 1pm. Then she called back and asked if I could do 10am, and I said I couldn't so we stayed at 1pm. Finally, the day I was suppose to come to the salon, she texted me at 9am, and said that she just got out of the emergency room n couldn't do it! I then followed up with her to see when she was going to finish it n she hasn't returned any texts or calls!! Very unprofessional, and I could not believe she would do that. I should've posted the review weeks ago when i was initially upset and this took place at the Centennial Hills location. I came in for a pedicure and it was probably my second one ever, and it's been a few years but my experience here was way more underwhelming than i can remember a pedicure being. i was welcomed in by a teenager and there was one other technician in the shop doing what appeared to be another customers pedicure. so the teenager does mine for me. and he hardly clips or files my toes. just massages and polished. i was in and out in 20 minutes while the other technician was still properly doing someone else's pedicure. i was disappointed and upset to say the very least and i would never send anywhere there, especially being in a higher end part of town such as centennial hills i had higher expectations for the salon i walked into. trash trash trash all over and i cannot make this up. read more

Had my hair done by Janis. She was very thoughtful and made sure I was comfortable with the length that needed to be cut to make my hair healthy again, BEFORE she cut it. She took the time to ask me what my concerns were and what result I was looking for prior to initially even meeting her. I felt so comfortable in her chair, and it was like I've known her for ages. It's so hard to find someone who has a passion for their work and Janis definitely has that! A wonderful woman and a great stylist. I came here upon recommendation to see Kassidy Howard for hair. I had never dyed my hair before and was told a balayage could be done in one session. She used foil which isn't typical for a balayage but it can be done so I didn't say anything. When I sat up from the chair it was super blonde, I liked it a lot. She was aware that I had naturally curly hair, and said it'd be no problem. I wore it straight for about three days before I washed it and got to see it curly, and that's when I noticed issues. My hair was over processed, pieces of my hair are silver, others yellow and my natural brown color. I quickly noticed she gave me highlights which looked choppy and gross and definitely not what I anticipated. I texted her asking if she could fit me in to fix it, thanked her for her time and she responded that there was "nothing to fix" and that she "knows what she did on me and she did a balayage" which.... if you look at the picture, it's not a balayage. She was rude and unprofessional. I have an appointment with another hairdresser who could've done it right the first time without giving me attitude. I don't recommend Kass at all. read more

She keeps up on her industry and really is a Color Specialist, she knows so much about color and the latest hair trends. She is an truly an artist as a hairstylist. I would recommend her if you want your hair done right! Her creativity is never ending. Plus she is a great person. Make an appointment with her and you will be sold, she is simply wonderful. This is a review of Beth Raskin at Elysian. She was my hair stylist for several years. She decided to dump me as a client - by text. I don't understand how a business can be so unprofessional. A long-term client should receive a phone call. Why was I dumped? I was dumped because I said something negative about people I know and a medical school. I was talking about something that happened years ago. Beth attacked me and accused me of talking about her friend who is going to a different medical school. I don't know her friend. I wanted to walk out but Beth was still working on my hair. I don't know what Beth's problem is but I should have dumped her for being unprofessional. I didn't deserve her treatment and attitude. I haven't always cared for her opinions about things or topics of conversation or that she made mistakes with appointments, but I didn't say anything. I didn't want to be friends with her; I just wanted a cut and color. After the bad experience with her, I think a larger salon may be better. At least there would be another hairstylist to see if a person were dumped. read more

I needed a stylist in Green Valley and after a little research I made an appointment with Gwen for cut and color. I had only seen one negative review and that person had said she was 'rude'. IDK what universe that person lives in as I found Gwen to be a lovely person...friendly, funny and sweet! As far as the cut and the color...I'm THRILLED with the results! She knew how to cut my hair properly...most stylist have cut layers into my hair for 'body'...and that is something I have in spades! I haven't had to touch my flat iron once since Gwen did my hair, it lays perfectly just using a blowdryer....which is a first! I'm so happy I found her and will definitely be going back to her from now on. I will be recommending her to anyone who asks! Great cut/color and a wonderful person! read more
