It's a budget haircut for a budget price. I get it. I can spend over $100 and still get a wrong haircut. Here at the Palm Springs area, I can show pictures of what I want, even with some with many years of experience, don't listen and cut it the way they want is a major flag for me. I stopped going and go to another location on Vista Chino. I had 2 haircuts there, although not the same haircut, but happy with both. I go for a pixie haircut because of having thin hair. read more

Wait time stated 6min when I checked in, however this turned into over 40min because the two women working spent more time jabbing with their girlfriends/clients than they spent cutting hair. You might as well multiply the wait time by 5x when these two are working. You can check- in ahead of time here online but cannot request a stylist. Some stylists get pretty rude when you pass on them while waiting for someone you know already. Changes the vibe and comes across very high schoolish. Makes regular barbershops worth the money. Plus when you leave the person you like doesn't make any money. Maybe be nicer to your co-workers clientele and treat their customers with respect and professionalism. You might need them to do the same for you someday. read more

My family won't be coming back here. Ever. Why? Customer service in general. I called in the morning, since my daughter starts home schooling @ 9:30. So, I wanted to make sure we had enough time to cut my son's hair. I call to ask if there was a wait. I really wanted to get this done and so we went along. We were greeted by a friendly "good morning" by a lady cutting someone else's hair. I figured the other employee who answered the phone would then need to attend to us. Oh, bother. I then help my son up on the chair, and there is no attempt by Dominick, to be pleasant or even a hint that he actually likes his job. Just awkwardness to the max! Ignoring my 3 year old as he tries to have conversation with the man and then says "Sorry, I don't know what you're saying". My son loves to talk to people and have conversation. If you don't want to be his best friend, fine. However, it is your job to make him feel comfortable and I could tell he was feeling insecure and uncomfortable being shot down with silence, most times he commented or questioned his hairdresser. His hair is choppy and uneven, I am not a pro but this looks like I could've done it myself. I feel he didn't even try to make it look decent. Piece of advice, don't put kids with people that don't like kids or straight women!!! Not sure what his problem with me was, but he definitely let us know he had one. Terrible experience. read more

My husband gets a great haircut here from Yeni and was recently in for one. I usually go to her for my undercut. I came in to get an undercut and brought my son to her also for a haircut. His hair turned out great. My only issue this time was that I was overcharged for my undercut which is usually $7, but she charged me for a full haircut $19. I thought it was expensive for $38 and realized after I left that it should only have cost $26 for both of our cuts. I called Yeni to explain that I was overcharged and she said it would be $7 next time. That was unacceptable and I was not happy with that answer. I asked to come back in to get her to fix it. She said to come back in. I was nearby and came back quickly. She didn't know what to do and had to call her manager to walk her through the refund over the phone. She finally got it straightened out and charged me correctly, but never once apologized for overcharging me. Not over the phone or in person. Not the best customer service. It kind of ruined my experience and my confidence in Yeni. I may go to someone else for an undercut next time. read more
