I have been going here for over a year and I went in for the same trim as always and instead of a trim. The English African American lady there took off 3 inches. Its completely uneven. I can't even put it in a pony tail right now. She ruined my hair. It will take a year to fix this. Save yourself money and your beautiful hair from being ruined. I am devistated. read more

You ever come out of getting a hair cut looking worst then you went in? I've gone to Great Clips a number of times and was very satisfied but today was the first time Christne cut my hair and she gave me a BAD chop job. All I wanted was to have my back trimmed and a neck line. My trim was uneven and she never did do the neck line. I told her the cut was uneven and she said well it said you needed a #1 and she wanted to try and correct her mess up. Nope you've made a mess already! I did pay and gave her a tip but I will never let her cut my hair any more. Bad hair day!!!!! read more

If a customer comes in and asks for a cut that the stylist is not comfortable doing maybe they should not do the cut. He simply asked for a fade cut. This is what he got. What the heck? Shameful, sad haircut. This is sad. read more

I had my hair cut by Eric and he did the worse job ever on my hair. He was in to much of a hurry to get to the next customer. I had my hair cut today and Chris did a fantastic job, especially since she had to correct Eric's mess. If you want your hair cut don't have Eric do it. He will screw it up. Got the worst haircut EVER today. Uneven, choppy one side is longer. When I showed the manager what a crappy job she did, her response was we won't charge you! Really, I didn't come in for a free haircut I came in for an even, decent haircut. Wouldn't give me office number Horrible Service. Stay away from the place. read more

Just came back from a quick cut from Annette. This is the third time I have had Annette cut and style my hair. I am a senior, so the awesome haircut cost me only $12 plus a tip. I have been going to Great Clips for about five years and have had several stylists cut my hair. The salon is always clean and the service is given with a smile and by stylists who are very talented. Yesterday I walked into Great Clips and told the haircutter that I wished a feathery trim. (I wear my hair short.) She was rude to me, very impersonable, and I felt like just another body that she just wanted to get it over with. I was so upset when she finished. Granted I got a feathery look but she cut my hair so short, I look like a boy. I am still upset when I look in the mirror. When I got home, the first thing my husband said to me was, "It looks like the stylist didn't like you very much." I do not recommend going here and needless to say, I definitely won't ever go there again! It is not worth saving money. read more

Awful! I went to Great Clips for the first time for a haircut. I asked for my layers to be cut and all the stylist did was complain about my previous haircut, stating that it was uneven; there was no problem with my previous haircut. When my haircut was done, I asked the stylist if she had cut all of my layers and she said she did. I figured when I got home I would wash my hair and style it my way. For the next few days I was unable to do anything with my hair as it was uneven and didn't even look like it had been cut. I called and spoke with the manager today. I have to say that she was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. This woman was nasty and actually had the nerve to mock me as I was explaining what was wrong with the service that I received. I requested not only my haircut chargeback, I also ask for the tip that I gave to the stylist. She then asked, rather sarcastically, "If your haircut was so bad, why would you give a tip?" I explained that anytime I get a haircut I can't really tell what it's like until I get home. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. She continue to humiliate me and I told her all I want was my money back. I am going to contact the owner and make a complaint. read more

I must say I had 1 cut here that was what I expected from Tiffany but today was my worst cut I have ever had. I gave Kimberly 3-4 tries to straighten it out and still walked out with a very uneven cut, long hairs sticking out all over and buzz marks all over. I went back at 4:00 pm, I asked if someone could fix it so it didn't look so bad and was told they have an hour wait, I said no problem I'll come back in an hour then another stylist said you can come back tomorrow we close at 5??? I've never done an online review before but felt obligated to this time as a sort of "public service announcement". Please, please save yourself and go elsewhere. Or cut your own hair. I promise you'll be far better off. After my haircut by Annette, I have a new understanding of the word "hacked". I'd been neglecting my hair due to some family health crises but with Christmas just days away, decided to get it cut. Because I only needed a simple cut & had several inches to give, I thought I'd put my snobbery aside and try Great Clips. My boyfriend had gone and liked his cut. I was immediately charmed by Annette's warm, accented greeting and remained entertained as she snipped away and told me stories of her long career in Port Charlotte, her multi-generations of customers. As we chatted, I got nervous that Annette seemed to be cutting off far more than we had agreed to, but at that point, what was done was done so I didn't get worked up about the considerable loss of length. But as Annette continued to cut, I saw how noticeably--ridiculously--uneven the cut was. Annette had cut about 8 inches off the overall length but somehow managed to leave the right side 3 inches longer than the left. When I said, "Um, Annette, this is waaay shorter then we discussed and it pretty uneven" she replied "Yeah, I'm not gonna charge you. I don't know what happened, I don't usually mess up on long hair." I asked if she could even it out, not taking any more off the left. Annette then cut several very choppy layers into the right but didn't address the extreme discrepancy in overall length. I finally resigned myself to the realization that Annette could not fix this and was only going to make things worse if she continued cutting. Annette again apologized and added, "I guess all you can do is let it grow a bit before getting it evened out." Although Annette acknowledged her complete blunder and didn't charge me, she cost me at least 2 years of growth and the cost of having another salon repair her cut. I truly wish I had just cut it myself. Or had my boyfriend do it. The cut was really THAT bad. Annette seems like a charming lovable woman, someone with whom it'd be great fun to meet for coffee. Do that...but do NOT let her near your hair. You will be sorry. read more

This place is a joke. My husband just got the worst haircut ever from a stylist who says she's been doing hair for decades. There is no way. You cut hair the way the client asks not with your own creative liberty. And if it's a first time client for you, you should be double and triple checking what you are doing before any actual cutting. Luckily there was an alternate person there who fixed some, but not all of the original janky haircut. AWFUL!!!..... I went in and asked for 3" off ,and long layers. The gal cut like a "Weak Mouse", and when it was all said, and done it looked as if someone had slapped a bowl on my head, and trimmed around it. I asked her to please shape and/or frame my face. Asked for clipper cut and cut on top. The lady did the clippers and asked how it looked. Didn't even cut my hair!!! Then turned down my coupon because they don't accept online coupons because of scams! Never heard that at any other place. STAY AWAY!!!! read more
