She cut it perfectly to the length I wanted, added layers, and some framing. It looks great and feels great. Jessica asked multiple times if there was anything else she could do and made sure I was satisfied with the length and the style before I left the chair. I appreciate how thorough she was as I only get my hair cut once a year, maybe twice at most. I just let it grow out and then when the weather gets hot, I chop it off. read more

Horrible experience. Avoid this place. First trip: I came about 40 minutes before closing and the woman at the counter asked if I had "checked in" on their app. I had not. She said they had a 34 minute wait. She was very polite. I offered to come another day, and said it was usually very busy after 6pm but I should check in on their app. Second trip: I came at 5pm, and immediately the woman (a different one) asked if I checked into their app. I said no, but I could wait the 31 minutes. She asked for my phone number. I said no thanks. She was immediately angry and irritated with me. She said they NEED a phone number or they are incapable of cutting hair. To appease her, I gave her the number 123-4567. She was furious. She had clearly never met another person who valued their privacy before, even a little. She whipped around and called for her colleague or manager and said "he needs to ask you questions" and then stormed off. I did not have questions. She just had a major attitude problem and didn't want to speak with me any more. I just wanted a person to take my money and cut my hair. This second woman, more polite, asked for my number. I said I'm not comfortable giving that out. She said the ONLY WAY they can process me in their system was with a phone number. I didn't say another word, and left quietly. No, I will not give you my phone number. I do not want to be entered into your database. I will not inject your data-harvesting spyware on my phone. I will not give you my photo ID, my social security number, my blood type, or my bank PIN. Evidently, the only way you can remove hair from my head is by abusing my privacy. This is a disgusting business practice, and should not become the norm. "Great" Clips is also discriminating against customers who cannot afford a phone and monthly mobile service. I can go to any other hair salon or barber shop, give them money, and they will give me a service. No attitude. I can go to a gas station, restaurant, or clothing store with cash in my hand, and leave with products and services. No phone number required, no dumb app, no ID. Just cash. And they certainly won't throw you dirty looks and act like you're burdening them if you prefer not to share your personal info. I guess you get what you pay for. This is what you get for rock bottom prices. I should've checked Yelp first to see the disappointing 3.9 stars, instead of relying on the positive 4.4 star rating on google maps. Then I would have saved myself two trips. Lots of other people are also reporting issues with the awful customer service here. Never going back again. PS: To be clear, the woman on day one (short with glasses), and the second one on day 2 were very polite. The first one on day 2 was the one with a major attitude, and soured my experience. I live about a 5-8 min walk from this location of Great Clips and this has been my go-to location for haircuts for the past 3 years or so! The app and their website makes online checkins very easy (which I strongly recommend to all) as this saves a ton of time, lets you know how much your wait time will be, and also bumps you up the queue against people who DID NOT checkin online but merely walked in. So, if you plan a bit ahead of time, you can always minimize your wait time but keep in mind certain times and days are always going to be busier than usual. The haircut experience itself has always been quick and pleasant for me. Since they keep a record of your last haircut they print off a piece of paper reminding them and you what you did last time you were there. This is also useful because it could be a different person cutting your hair compared to last time. Special shoutout to Tony who usually cuts my hair and we always have a fun chat about all topics and whatnot! One tip from me to potential customers would be to be patient and clear on what kind of haircut you want, and your hairdresser/barber will usually accommodate and make suggestions based on their experience and also based on your own head shape and hair because not every hair style works on every head. read more

Well first off, they're allowing people to sit inside and not disinfecting them afterwards, but my big concern was the way they are handling online check ins, they have you check in online and wait these ridiculous times and then told you have to wait in line when arriving. Completely useless system and pointless to have if I'm waiting still. Also be mindful of who is cutting your hair. All the stylists are nice - some more than others. Easy online check in which we use most of the time due to the long wait times. The shop is clean and uncluttered. They also have shampoo and styling products for sale at the front of the store. Stylists are a bit chatty with each other but all very friendly and appropriate conversations. I bring my son here frequently to get his hair cut and also to get my own hair trimmed. We are always very satisfied with our cuts and my son likes that they have lollipops for the end of his :) We also love getting coupons to make their cheap prices even cheaper! read more

And I couldn't even stand up for myself because she had scissors in her hand. I have a simple cut something I get every time especially at this location. She didn't seem to like me so took it out on my hair. Can't tell if she just actually sucks or what. But it's extremely choppy and uneven. My hair means a lot to me and when somebody disrespects my hair, they disrespect me. Says she has an extreme amount of experience, but where it at lol. If you come to this location and see her... Well, the woman who cut my hair at Great Clips cut it very short at the sides, unevenly and then abruptly leaves some hair longer which was cut so short that it sticks up on the top with no fade.
