I needed a easy trim and layers so I figured let's go here since I didn't want to pay 50$ for a trim...I should have paid 50$ for a trim. When I walked in someone greeted me with welcome to great clips with no smile or eye contact. They didn't shampoo, a man was already getting his hair cut I walk in sit down and was done before he was! Mind you my hair is thick and to my lower back. She spent 10-15 minutes on my hair and said looks good your done. It seemed fine in the mirror so I wasn't upset. I got home and looked in the mirror and the right side is a good inch longer then the left! Maybe they do more men's cuts since they are quick. The store to wasn't very clean. Old hair on the floor in another station who wasn't working and all over the counter. Just bummed to want something simple and quick and have it be uneven. read more

Absolutely the worst haircut I have ever seen. My husband brought our son here to get just a trim. Mostly we wanted his bangs cut just so they were out of his eyes. We wanted to keep a little length because he has some beautiful curls. When they got home I was completely appalled! His hair was so short that there wasn't a single curl left on his head. We were hesitant to get it cut because this is exactly what we were afraid of. I am at a loss for words at how awful his hair now looks, it looks like a bushy mess. read more

I went to this facility on 10/17/20 to get a haircut The reason I gave it a 1 star is because they will not let their customers use their bathroom. I'am a 69 year old senior citizen. At the store at Leslie&Gage, Kristi cuts my hair every month or so. She has a knack for asking the right questions before she starts, so I get exactly what I want, even if I don't know how to say it! I I am a 56-yr-old with short hair, and I will ALWAYS ask for Kristi because I get a great look every time! I LOVE the online check-in; at a walk-in salon, you never know when they're going to be busy, so you can check-in online, and if it's crowded when you get there, you already have a place in line! I do wish there was a way to connect with the right employee, though. I take advantage of the senior discount, but I always tip about 30%. It still comes in under $20, and since their services are inexpensive, I feel like the beauticians should be tipped a little extra, since they probably make minimum wage. They also do "updo's" so it's a terrific way to get a budget look for that special date or prom! As with all places of this type, there are good and not-so-good operators. My hair sucks now. I was gonna go out in public today, but now I can't go out for 3 months. Very rude and unprofessional, and they did a terrible job. Cut was totally And obviously uneven. The stylist sprayed my hair with chair cleaner and didn't bother to wash or straighten my hair before cutting. The last time I went for a hair cut, I'm walking up to the door, the girl inside comes to the window, looks out at me and turns off the 'OPEN' sign, turns around and walks away. I walked in with my mother and she had a specific picture with her. It's a short hair cut style that still has length and layers! Well the girl doesn't tell my mother that she is a student... so during the cut the girls says, "I don't know how to cut this specific shape, let me ask my manager." And I was sitting in the waiting area when I heard it. I perked up and went what?... So after my mom gets out of the chair is saying, "Oh my god. This is..." Literally on the verge of tears... I went there because I was desperate for a cut and my beautician was out of town. Believe me, you don't get much for the $14 cut!! A lady named Michelle did my hair. Only words she said to me was "what do you want done?" I told her to follow the cut and just take a 1/4 inch off. Pretty soon I saw 1 inch pieces falling down on the cape. She did a terrible job! I felt like all she was doing was whacking off pieces all over my head. She was done in 10 minutes and it looked awful. I wanted to cry right there! OMG worst haircut of my life. I am a 62 year old woman who had a bob that needed shaping up. Jeffrey cut me like s six year old boy. I told him I like the length and the fullness. My hair is now shorter than my husband and I have a huge bald spot above my right ear. Jeffrey asked when done ... "Do you want to cry" he seemed happy it was such a disaster. Didn't enjoy my experience here. When we walked in we were treated like a nuisance "What?? I have to work now??" The hairdresser we liked had gone to work somewhere else so we got someone who had probably only cut like two peoples hair, I had to trim my sons hair when we got home it was so uneven. Only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because at one time there was a good hairdresser there but I don't think they pay enough to keep the good ones.
