Long story short, the guy in the Bay highlighted my entire head in bleach, burned off pieces of my hair underneath (I have thick hair thank god), and after growing it out for so long, my hair was super uneven, thin at the bottom, and the bleach parts refused to ever curl. My hair looked crazy unless I styled it-- the new growth being curly and the old hair lying pin straight. I couldn't take it anymore. I found all the lovely reviews on Tanya and decided to give it a shot since I just moved to the Roseville area. Let me tell you, she did a FANTASTIC job! I haven't had short-ish hair for many, many years and was terrified to cut it. She took my face shape and structure into account and landed on a cut that would complement me, which it clearly does since everyone compliments my hair now and tells me how cute it looks. I haven't been to a real hair salon in probably 10-15 years. Went to Great clips about 5 years ago for my last hair cut but I wanted to splurge and get a little pampering! Most things are charged by the hour and each stylist has a different rate based on their "level" I came with a pic of what I wanted and Jade delivered. Almost identical. And if my face was as thin and flawless as the AI version I brought in it would have been exactly the same lol. She also has these wonderfully long nails that feel amazing when she's washing your hair! She was conversational without being nosy or over talkative.
