Appalled. Came in to get my buzz cut that I'm growing out cleaned up so it grows out nicely. Keli or Keri spent all of 10 minutes on a quick side trim, cut off my sideburns AND left them uneven, butchered my neckline. Came home and the side still had lots of visible long hairs so I ended up having to trim it down myself. Ended up with a sink full of hairs from how much I had to go over it. Only reason they're not getting 1 star is because she charged the cut as a neck trim. read more

I went to GC on a very rainy Tuesday. This is my 1st experience at GC. Fortunately there were no other customers in the shop. I don't recall the stylists name (red hair) but she was very nice. Nothing impressive here from a haircut standpoint... Still extremely overpriced for men's haircuts.. but certainly cheaper than all the hipster barbershops charging (whole foods) prices for average service... I keep coming back here trying to see stylist I saw first time.. Every time I come there's multiple stylist's then suddenly after I check in (and there is a lobby of customers) all but one stylist go on break or lunch .. so I end up waiting for 30-40 min to be seen.. because now, only one stylist working. why send people on break with a lobby of customers? I've walked out many times and come back because I keep thinking I'm being too critical... I try different day's of the week, or times of the day.. not better in any way.. high turnover here I never get to see the same stylist or see any kind of professionalism in scheduling or service.. I can with 100% certainty say this location is terrible, from a simple haircut standard, or from unprofessional wait times.. I'm gladly going to return to my barber in Miramar,.. why on earth do you not have more than one or two employees working during lunch hour's.. So disappointed with this location.. read more

I'm giving 2 stars only for their kindness. I got my hair trimmed last week or the week before, can't remember the girls name. Anyway, I have always gotten a layered trim. The length is fine. It's the cut I guess you would say. The ends have no definition. It looks like my hair was cut straight across on each layer. I'm so unhappy about it. I have beautiful curly curly hair, when I come to Great Clips I always come prepared with my hair flat ironed and ready for a dry trim to make it easy for the ladies to trim my hair evenly. I have to say that in all the years that I've been to Great clips this trim was on point! Arlene did a phenomenal job on my hair, she actually stepped in to help another stylist that had started to trim my hair and I was so very grateful, not everyone knows how to cut curly hair and shape it just right and she did her thing!!! I read the reviews, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They are nice people, but the technique is off- at least for the nice woman who butchered my hair as she took a razor blade and ran it through my hair making "layers." It looks crazy. And what is the point in saving my spot online when you put walk ins before the ones who you told to sign in online to save their spot? Makes no sense. I went back after my haircut for a revision by someone else. My wait time was 25 online. They told me 30 on the phone. I waited for an hour and left. Disappointed and I wish I listened to the reviews. 2 stars because the staff was nice, but my haircut was not. It was probably best I didn't get a haircut revision by them. read more

Wait times are not true. An online appointment doesn't really matter here why I keep coming back I have no clue. This will be my last time here, wait time stated 18 min after I checked in online. I show up with 5 min to spare, I have now been in the waiting area for 25 min. The max employees I've seen here in any given day is a resounding 2. I'd rather spend the same amount of money at a barber then come here. Places like this, to me, are the fast food of hair cuts. Stay away. read more

I had gone to another great clips over the weekend and I wasn't sure what to ask for and I wasn't even really sure what I wanted until it got shorter when I got home I realized I wanted it shorter than I asked for and when I went to see Arlene, she hooked it up because I had gone to the other salon not only did I end up buying products because she was so honest and generous. My kids like coming here ... the hair dressers are all very nice. We've been living in the area for years and when my barber shop is busy we normally come here. Kids like it better than my barber shop. The place is clean and roomy and again the ladies are very nice, professional and friendly. We've never had an issue here and the prices are more than fair. Just got my haircut this weekend at this location. What brought me here was the GREAT haircut I got by stylist Amelia, who originally worked at another Great Clips in Hemet. It had been over a year, and when I called the Hemet location they gave me info that lead me here. From the moment I called it was awesome. Receptionist Mary Ann was wonderful!! Kind, friendly, and helpful, we shared a good laugh on the phone and let me know when Amelia would be in next. Because you cannot make appointments, I called back the next day to verify Amelia was there and headed right over. When I arrived, I was greeted by multiple stylists and made to feel very welcome. The place is clean and bright with plenty of parking for free, my wait was brief and pretty soon I was getting my haircut. I have been growing out my hair and had it all one length with lots of split ends. I didn't want to lose much length. But I did want to cut the dead ends off and add some long layers to bring movement. I'm telling you this so you know that this was achieved, quickly, easily, and to my total satisfaction. I haven't needed to "style" my hair because with this great cut it essentially styles itself! PS, I walked out of there with my haircut, a new product, and after tipping for $30. Ladies, we never get hooked up like this, I mean what a score! Thank you Amelia for your excellent service. You are a great stylist that embodies efficiency, fun, and professionalism. I decided to go to a new hair salon other than my regular visit at this one this morning just to try something different and boy was I disappointed from my visit at this salon (not a great clips location) The woman who cut my hair TOTALLY butchered my hair all around. We were in the area & I figured I'd get a trim since hubby was getting his cut. I didn't think a trim could go so wrong. Just take a look at the pic. First off, I asked for a ONE inch trim and I even demonstrated the exact amount to trim. It turned out to be more like FOUR inches she cut off. Then to make matters worse, she left a nice big piece in front uncut. In the end, it only served as great proof of how much she actually chopped off. It's very upsetting and unacceptable for this individual to take a customer's request and just crap on it. Although the manager offered a refund... The cut requested was NOT what was done. The stylist did not care about what I wanted. She did as she pleased with my hair. I wanted a mid-length layered cut. I now sport a small boys cut circa 1950s! I had one of their own books, and, showed her pictures of what I wanted. She refused. I thought we had compromised when she said that she would start with a long cut and only go shorter IF I chose to go further. She started cutting, and, didn't stop. $7 haircut for my son. I don't think you can beat that. We arrived without checking in online, which apparently you can do. (Will do that next time). We were greeted warmly and the girl signed us in. Told us it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. No problem we went to BevMo down the street. When we came back our name was number 1 on the electronic list. This Great Clips location has become my go-to location since the Great Clips on Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester closed down. Personally, I like a little consistency... so I hate when I get a new/different hair stylist every 2 months that I come in for a hair cut. No big deal, most of the hair stylists have been pretty cool. Sadly I feel things have changed post covid/lock down. It's been a while of course due to lock downs, but I remember having a "warmer" welcome when entering the facility. My son's haircuts have been of lesser quality, patchy & uneven in areas. Customer service also seems inconsistent, the gentleman before us was offered a $4 off coupon after paying. When I went to pay, all I got was a "would you like a copy of your receipt?" I was never offered a $4 off coupon on my last three visits come to think of it. It's disappointing, I really enjoyed coming here but I think our visit today will be our last. read more
