I went to this location (on NFB) because I was dissatisfied with my service I received at the one on Sheridan Dr. This one was no better. I wanted an updo for the wedding I was going to that night and both locations refused to do it. Both "stylists" I dealt with were very rude and made me feel like I was just a number. Just like the Great Clips I use (well I guess I have to say used to use) back in El Paso, this place does Clips, for your hair, that are better than mediocre clips. Being in the Army but now living in a place that doesn't have a military base, I was kinda wondering where / how I'm gonna get my weekly haircuts that are up to snuff with AR 670-1. Luckily, I found this Great Clips. Walked in, no appointment, and was given a great haircut and they even shaved my beard down for me so that I could shave all the way tomorrow for work next week. Standard price, but they do offer military discount. So yea, I'm not sure where this place is, because I don't even really know where I am right now, but, I'll be back, weekly. read more

Came in with my two sons and husband today a few minutes ago (Sat 11/3 around 2:40PM) to get haircuts and checked in as we were pulling in. The app said we had a 14 minute wait. Upon entering and signing in at the register, the strawberry blondish wavy-haired girl at the register made a snide remark about were not supposed to check in as were pulling in, were supposed to check in at home. How rude and unprofessional. I am utterly disgusted at how I was treated as a long standing customer. She further remarked that doing that jumps in front of other customers already there. Well since that had previously happened to ME, I check in EVERY time before coming. I only live down the street also. I told her I could take my money elsewhere if she prefers and she was fine with it. Do you think I'd have her cut my family's hair after that display??? BY the way, nobody was waiting, not one single soul!!!! Totally despicable treatment of customers. I have never been so livid!!!! I will never be back with my household of 7 again. read more

Yea, I know coming in ten minutes before close isn't a GREAT idea, but I basically go into get a #2 buzz on the sides and a #4 on top. I got home to find a patch on the back on my head completely missed, and the area around the ears noticeably shorter that the rest. I never expected a slighy more complicated buzz cut to be something that could get messed up, but I was wrong. Have a decent tip too as always, if I could take it back I would. Anyone working in the service industry in some kind has had that day. I just wish I wasn't the recipient of "that day". After three bad hair experiences among my family of six I need to say that this is the WORST Great Clips in our area. Three of us now have had bad hair experiences. First, my hair was uneven a couple of cuts ago so I switched to the Transit Rd location. Today my husband and 14 year old son had their cut at this location. My husbands hair dresser had to be told by him to fade his hair and that it was uneven and my son had half of his left eyebrow shaved off. The thing that makes me most angry is that when I called to express my disappointment the manager said she cut his hair and there was no way that happened. Who would make this up? No apology just consistent denial. Then she had the store owner, Pam, call me. Again, no apology! Just a standard description of how Great Clips works. Unbelievable. read more

Checked in 2 people online. Site said it would be 30 minutes. Got here checked in, they said it would be 15 more minutes. 2 people walk in ahead of me and get there hair cut. They call my son in to get his hair cut. He comes out a few minutes later, so I go in to get my hair cut and they tell me because I didn't tell them that there were 2 people getting hair cuts that I would have to come back later. I went to Great Clips on Niagara Falls Boulevard. My friend had loaned me his card for 1099 dollar haircut. I thought the card entitled to me to a haircut for 1099. So I gave the girl money to pay for the haircut. She also swipe the card and took 1099 off of the card. . So I ended up paying for the haircut twice and then when I called to point it out to the girl ignored my phone calls got the owner to call me and then the owner would not give me a refund either. So this Cheryl wss the girl that did this so she's very dishonest and the owner is as well. So stay away from these people because they will rip you off. read more

I am so impressed! I took my two little boys in today and we had a great time! My youngest (20 months old) needed a cut and the stylist Shauna was fantastic! She worked so well with his patience and knew all the tricks to keep him happy in the chair. Meanwhile my oldest (3.5 years old) was chatting away with another stylist at the front counter. The fact that she and another waiting customer engaged with him was a huge help keeping him occupied. They both got suckers and balloons and we all left very happy. All in all, the service was fantastic and my little guy's hair looks incredible!! read more

Been going here for a couple years now. For just a quick cut with nothing fancy, you can't beat it! I had been going in very month to get a trim and only once did I come out not really happy, so I just tried a different girl. Only problem... I'd like to get my hair highlighted for a special occasion, and I really don't know where to go for that. If I just need a trim, or even change my hairstyle, Great Clips does just fine. I'm just wondering if this is just me... But I have been going there for months and most of the time I walk out satisfied. My issue is, that they refuse to say thank you when given a tip!!! My usual tip is $3, then went up to $4 and $5 to see if the person who cut my hair would say thank you!!! NOT ONCE did I receive a thank you.
