Came in with the family to get haircuts. We used their online wait list. We get here and for some reason, my entire family went before I did. My name got put on to the END of the list. At first, it was a bit irritating, but then as I watched people get their hair done, it turned out that maybe it was a blessing. My son got his hair cut and it was uneven. He needed to get it fixed by another person. And then my daughter finished with shorter hair than she wanted, Un-even bangs, and not so great face framing. I've been coming to this location for the past 3 1/2 years, and she is a first stylist, who has actually really listened to what I was trying to do with my hairstyle, and she gave me the perfect cut! This location deserves no less than 5 stars. Every time I go here, it's insanely fast service, as well as an amazing conversation. I've had my hair cut by at least 5 of the employees here, lol at different times of course. But of course every hair cut has been flawless in my book. I've never had a complaint personally, and I've honestly gotten at least 5 new jobs in the passed 5 years (lol upgrades) and I am 100% sure it's because of these damn good hair cuts. Walking out of the shop every time, I feel suave and brand new. Like a young Johnny Depp walking up and down Hollywood blvd just for the attention. Compliments all day long (Possibly an exaggeration) as well as the self confidence that I deserve, is what is achieved by these hair cuts. I'd like to thank everyone at this location, I hope you guys read this, because you're all bad ass, and the hair cuts are ALWAYS on point. I've been going to Great Clips for years now. The only problems I had before were that when I asked for my hair to be cut down to an inch they would cut it closer to maybe an inch and a half or 2 inches. No problem. I would just ask for a little more and then it'd be perfect. And the staff was always nice and friendly to me. After I had a bad haircut this week (they didn't give me what I asked and now I have to grow my hair back in 12 days before a convention I am going to cosplay at) I ended up talking to the owner and he resolved everything. I always come to this location and I've been happy with my previous hair trims. But I'm very upset with my last visit. My hair is down to my waist. I asked for it to be trimmed no more than 2 inches and I wanted it to be a straight across hair style. My hair was cut about a good 4 inches and I was given a "u shaped" haircut. I straightened my hair and it's not even at all. One side is longer than the other. How hard is it to cut hair straight across? I've been growing and taking care of my hair for 3 years. All the time, care, and money that I put into my hair cannot be given back to me because the hairdresser, Tammy, couldn't follow simple instructions. I went back to the location asked for a refund. Which was a given to me. I also asked to see if I wanted to make my hair straight across and even again how much would have to come off. A GOOD 6 INCHES. This was a very bad haircut and I'm very upset. Getting my money back and leavening this review will not make me happy or make my hair grow back. This is outrageous. My hair TO ME is medium/long. My mom and I went here today for haircuts, I knew right away the girl cutting my hair didn't know what she was doing when she chopped the front of my hair framing my face, literally straight across, I asked her if she was going blend it and she claimed she did. My hair is long, I want to keep the length which she did, but now that the front is butchered, I need to go somewhere else and get it fixed. My mom's hair was wet, so she didn't notice until it dried, that she too got a butchered uneven haircut. My mom did notice one side looked longer than the other, the girl responded with you just need to use some gel and scrunch it up! It should be mentioned that my mom requested her to cut her hair to shoulder length and the girl basically gave my mom her own pixie style about 3+ inches ABOVE the shoulder! I went to this Great Clips in Visalia, I try to be open minded and understanding, but one of the worst haircuts I've gotten in my life, there was no blending at all and disproportionate, my hair was straight butchered, very disappointed. For a 17$ cut I was expecting a little more. I immediately left and went to All Star Barbershop in Hanford and they did an AMAZING job fixing my hair, only for 25$. The lady cutting my hair was being extremely political, she even admitted to being an anarchist and was defending Nancy Pelosi. Then she went on to say anyone not wearing a mask should be denied medical treatment and left to die, and also said mask wearing will be the new normal "like they do in China" she said. And to top it off she absolutely butchered my hair, my wife noticed immediately that my fade was nowhere near even. This employee has no business cutting hair. I will not go there again. Lori asked me what I wanted, brought over a picture to confirm and chopped away. It is perfect! It is exactly what I wanted and she was FAST! The best part... I got, what would have cost at an upscale salon, a $50 haircut for $8.99!!!!! Ha! Why can't Great Clips cut your hair without knowing your name and phone number? I told them I didn't want to be in a database-- and they said they wouldn't cut my son's hair without a name and number. Gave a false name and an old land line number and as they were cutting his hair they did the bottom with clippers and said, " See, this is why it is important so we know what you like each time." After slowly dying inside for 2 weeks over a bad bangs cut from somewhere else, I decided to go here on a whim. I don't know how she did it because there wasn't much to work with but Crystal managed to reshape and texturize my bangs and added some face framing layers. My hair went from embarrassing to great in less than 15 minutes with Crystal's magic touch! She might be a wizard! She also showed me how to style my bangs so that they would lay just the right way.
