Time for another trim. Walked into the salon at about 10am. I think the earlier times are best cause you get right in. My opinion. I don't think that waiting is a problem, but it is nice to get started as soon as the pull you up by your phone number. Got my usual way I like it. A high fade with a little fo-hawk. I got someone named Vanessa. She was nice just like most of the stylist are. I really liked the way she did the finishing touches on top of the haircut. At the end of the haircut using the tiny trimmer just making sure it was all cleaned up and no missed spots. All of this and I was out of there by 10:15. She has been cutting my hair for more than 15 years, and during that time she has provided consistently excellent service, professionalism, and genuine care for her customers. When I recently came in for a haircut, I was surprised and saddened to find that she was gone. Nesty wasn't just a talented stylist; she was one of the main reasons I continued to return to Great Clips year after year. Over the years, she built relationships with her customers and made us feel valued and welcome. I understand that personnel decisions are made for various reasons, but as a long-time customer, I wanted you to know that her absence is deeply felt. I have been coming to great clips for about 15 years. I have had several people cut my hair and they never seem to get it right! I would even travel from Payson just to see Misty! Misty was the only one who always got my cut right and now you let her go! That was your biggest mistake she is amazing and I will NEVER step in great clips again. read more

I asked for a fade that goes from a 5-3 top to bottom, but the lady decided to do whatever the crap she wanted. I came out of the shop with a number 2 all the way around on the sides no fade in sight, the "back" of my hair now goes up onto the top of my head. I can only thank God that I have a short girlfriend because if she could see the monstrosity of the top of my head she would leave me In an instant. I don't even know how somebody who is paid to do this can mess up that bad. My dad can give a better haircut than her and thats really saying something. I came back to this location because in the past the employees used to know how to cut my hair perfectly, now I refuse to come here again because of the absolute atrocious haircut I received. read more

The great are t clips franchise makes the stylists cut their way which is the "short cut way" lol -- pun intended. It doesn't allow the stylist to use her best skills. Also I don't appreciate that the stylists are timed. Besides effecting the quality of the service, it definitely elaffects the quality of the customer service and demeanor of the employees. Makes one feel like a bother and yet they expect above decent tip. Next time!?!? NO thank you. read more

Hubs is active duty and needs a haircut every week - we're new to the area and he thought he'd check out this great clips clips location in Jordan Landing. Ok seriously. I did not get her name. Long brown hair. Girl who chose to treat me (woman) as a little boy apparently. Talk talk talk wack wack wack. She didn't even spray my long hair that I was choosing to take 4" off the back then layer. Destruction at its finest. Me: aren't you going to wet my hair? Her: no I don't need to. Me: what? Her: it's fine Wack wack. Kept having to pull my sides down to TRY to get them even. More off here the more off there. She cut my bangs DRY Dry Dry . HELLO I have a mask on. Let's just have all the dry trimmings fall between my mask and face. Spitting out hair, trying not to take my mask off was next to impossible. Horrible experience. Ok let's layer my hair. Her: how do you want it. Me: layered like it was when I got here but shorter. Her: chomp chomp chomp. I mean even straight chomps. Not at an angle to blend it it. Her: is that ok? Me: silently wanting to stab her with her scissors. Me: it's not even here here here here. My bang got over chopped on the sides. She must have cut my hair like she does little boys. Wish I had gotten her name. I will never go back to that pale white girl again. Who does this to someone? Not one drop of water used to insure it was even. I nearly broke down in tears when I left. I went in for a TRIM yesterday. I had long, beautiful curly hair. It was essentially one length and I loved it. The "stylist" I got talked me through the trim I needed and we decided on two inches which was fine. I stated very clearly that I do not like steep layers in my hair. During the cut, she mentioned I had a "shelf" and she was going to cut slightly into it. She also mentioned I had "poof" that she needed to work on. I was rather offended because I didn't think I had either. She ended up taking 6-8 inches off the top layers of my hair. She started at the back and worked her way to the front. By the time I realized what she was doing, it was too late. She cut so many messy layers into my hair that I now have the steep layers, shelf, and poof that I did not have before. Not only that, once the layers stop there are 3-4 inches of my hair across the bottom that have no layers. My hair was beautiful and now it's a disaster. It is one of the worst cuts I have ever gotten. I am waiting for a call from the manager to go back and see what can be salvaged which means taking more off. It was just supposed to be a trim. We were very happy with the service and cut from Loni. Being on vacation and my son needing a haircut, we were hesitant to try a new place since we haven't always had the best outcome. Awful waste of time.. We got there well before the store closed, they told us to come back in 30 minutes so we went across the street real quick, came back and they turned us out of the door saying they were closed. Awful place. I checked in online. When i reached the store, I checked in at the desk and let them know that i had checked in online. Even though I was the first in line, they did not take me for my hair cut instead took the second person in queue . I took my two young boys here to get their haircuts and the two ladies working were very rude! I used the online check-in and when I arrived, they told me I had 50 minutes to wait. I was fine to wait and sat down, but the lady was clearly upset that if I waited the 50 minutes, she would be staying past 9pm when the salon closes. She mentioned this multiple times and was extremely rude about the situation!! I told her she should be more kind and left with my kids. I work for a large company with their headquarters located nearby. A few times each year we gather at Corporate for training. This is my second time to get my haircut at this location. I appreciated having been told about the convenient Online Check-in. I was able to eat lunch then come over. It was great not having to wait. Afterwards the stylist washed my hair using Tea Tree shampoo. My scalp felt all tingly and refreshingly clean. Thanks, Great Clips. read more
