My first hair cut here was perfect. Today had the second one by the lady with White colored hair(don't know her name and did not bother to ask) and it was a disaster. She blamed it all on me on me hysterically. I have always been told to use #4 clipper and i told her the same that i want shorter on the side and not so short on the side and she completely took all the hair completely out by the clipper. No use of a scissor. The most awful cut ever and the worst part was she kept blaming it on me. I would highly advice against using her services. At the end, if you use her service and it a mess, she will be happy to knock $2 off your bill. Cheers to that !!!! read more

Mahi is fabulous! came in with porous bleached dry hair, almost desperate to cut it all off when she saved the day. Mahi gave great advice for at home solutions, coconut oil daily, hot oil monthly or bio monthly, deep conditioners weekly, protein builders, etc. Not only was the advice beneficial, but my hair bounced right back after she meticulously cut off all the damage. Plus it doesn't look like she chopped it off. She saved my hair! I finally found this local Natomas hair salon after searching the Sacramento area for years trying to find a great cut for a great price. Look in the N (Natomas) magazine for their monthly coupons. For long hair I get a steal of a cut for $9!! I've paid $65 for haircuts of this quality. They are awesome. I've used Colleen, Julie and Tony, and the whole team is great. Late post. Great place to go if you like to get your hair messed up by all the hair stylists (been here 4 times) that don't seem to know what even all around means. And don't even mention a trim because they're just going to put a patch in your head, cause that's what happened to me. So i found this place cause its super close to my house and i decided to give it a try cause it had been months since i cut my hair. I came in there was no wait, i sat down and surprisingly got a hair cut i love. I wish i could remember the name of the lady who cut my hair but she was in the second chair on the right side. Im just mad impressed with her cutting skill. She layers hair in a way that makes it look full and still light-weight. Anyway. One of the cheapest as well. Great price and great cut. I go there once a month and have Julie cut my curly, unruly hair. She is so precise and professional. Haven't had anyone else cut my hair there but I see good haircuts walk out the door no matter what chair they sat in. My first local haircut was a $30 job at Papillon and thankfully found Julie at Great Cuts to repair the mess for almost a third of the price. Surprised to see the that the little info window remarks that it's not good for 'kids'. I've see more little boys in there than I've ever seen in other salons and they do just fine. The one person who complained about poor service for her child was very surprising as I've seen all the barbers and stylists offer the most patience imaginable to the little guys. read more

Dropped in at the last moment and was fortunate enough to be served right away. The staff was friendly, greeting everyone as they walked in. My stylist (barber) (Sheri) did a great job and listened to what I wanted, asking sensitive, intelligent questions. She also explained to me their booking system including the way to check in electronically which allows you to check in up to an hour in advance of your appointment. She asked me every step of the way if she was cutting too much and how it looked so far. Young man, phonetically 'Vee', did a meticulous job of an off the ear block cut conversion from an old hippie look. probably one of the best cuts I've ever had. No shape at all,so now she can't even let her hair down because it just looks ridiculous . I could have done a better job myself. $13 for guy's haircuts is really reasonable nowadays. I think its $11 for kids and seniors and $15 for ladies. The place is clean, really nice interior. The most surprising and amazing thing is all those people working here, they used to work for Greatclips down the street. The store name is a bit confused but i could careless, i go for hair, not for name. All the members have been working in this area for over years. Without a doubt the worst haircut in recent memory. I gave clear instructions on how I wanted my hair cut and after having several months of good hair growth wasted I had to just get up and leave before more was messed up. I will be going to Barber Joe's down off Arden Way to get my hair fixed, and where the lady there does a fantastic job at communicating, making suggestions, and making sure that she verifies what she is going to do before shaving the back of your head basically bald. I knew I shouldn't have even tried Great Cuts but I did due to the convenient location. Definitely not Great, and not even a low price. They charge just as much as much higher quality joints. 0 stars would not recommend as a place for men to go if you care about your appearance or if you are even the slightest bit particular with your haircuts. read more
