I sure ate a lot of bread while in Montana, but it's because places like Great Harvest Bread were just too good to pass up! There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place. I mean it, but I also mean it as a compliment. Fancy isn't always better and Great Harvest is proof of that. Though it's nothing flashy, the restaurant really makes you feel at home when you walk in. It gives off a nice cozy feeling where you want to settle in with a cup of soup and hot coffee. So, I did exactly that! I also got a sandwich, and everything hit the spot. Of course, nothing over the top, but very good, to where I'd definitely visit again or be a regular if I lived in the area. I actually had an older woman walk up to my friend and I and jokingly tell us we "took her spot" that her party usually sits at once a week to eat. Used to enjoy coming here but over the past year have seen a gradual decline in the place. Today dropped $35 on lunch and every damn table was dirty including the floor = disgusting that we had to sanitize our own table. I ordered some scones for home delivery. They were like hardtack biscuits. I called the bakery to politely express my disappointment and was curtly told "that's how we make our scones." Be warned! They might not even decompose in the compost bin. read more

Terrible customer service. Rolls their eyes when you ask questions. Order your food to go? They'll bring it out on a plate. Ordered my sandwich.... Waited 20 minutes... Saw other folks getting their sandwich's that ordered loooong after me. When asking very politely if my order was coming up, I got snapped at. Then I waited another 15 minutes, watching moooooore sandwiches come out, and finally got my food just in time for me to sprint out the door to get to where I needed to be. Great Harvest is my go-to place when I gst want a sandwich. BUT the last two times that I ate there, the lettuce on my sandwich was really, really gross. I brought this to the attention of the counter help and sort of just got a shrug. It really isn't that hard to look at what you're putting on the sandwich. Tried to call ahead so wouldn't have to wait inside and kept getting disconnected, so went in and ordered from counter person who didn't have mask on over nose. I was in a hurry to get out as the improperly masked person gave me my food, so didn't look at order and it was wrong. I ordered one thing, no variations or substitutions and was wrong item. This is a place I love to just come and relax and meet up with friends and enjoy the great food and drinks. I couldn't tell you the name of anybody who works here but I can tell you they're super friendly. The food here is great and I look forward to the free samples that they always provide everybody that walks through the door. I tried a new place this morning and it didn't work out for me, the latte I purchased was not made properly and for the first time I threw a drink away that I paid for and that's not me, I'm not wasteful I just truly could not drink it. I drove here to get my next cup of coffee and I have to say I'll never go back to the other place again! This is my new favorite lunch time place. A really customer oriented friendly crew. You are greeted promptly, order is taken quickly, and served promptly. They use fresh baked breads, (which you are allowed to sample), along with a complimentary pickle. The meat and vegetables on your sandwich are very fresh. The sandwich can be served cold are hot. Ate breakfast here last week. We had a breakfast sandwich (large, good for sharing) and a cinnamon roll. The breakfast sandwich is not listed on their menu, so make sure to ask. The cinnamon is very good. The new owner now makes real cinnamon reals instead of caramel rolls sold as cinnamon rolls. They are probably the best cinnamon rolls in town.
