Though the inside of this shop is closed right now, the drive thru is still open to get your goodies. The staff are very helpful and friendly and even give you small free samples while you wait. We ordered a pack of Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies, a loaf of the white/wheat swirl bread, and a loaf of the Cheddar Garlic bread. All three were absolutely delicious! So many different flavors of bread are available as well as a few different kinds of cookies. We highly recommend this establishment. Everything is scrumptious so you can't go wrong. read more

I have stopped going to this store. I am a DePere resident and like to support De Pere businesses, however, I enjoy going Inside a store and being able to look at products and find new things I now go to a bakery in Green Bay and one in Howard. I know from speaking to many others, they no longer go here either because it is drive thru or delivery only. Just think of the business you could have if you opened your doors again. Went there for the first time today and the place is small, cute, and welcoming. Love the free taste section along with how everything is made right there in the open kitchen. Customer service was good along with wait time. It looks like everything sold are made right there in the shop. Cheap in price. The equality of the food is good and well portioned. This bread shop is located in DePere right outside Green Bay. We come every time we visit family. They make all their bread, cookies and other baked goods in shop. Its very tiny but definitely worth stopping for a treat. They always have some samples of bread and cookies. Today there was 4 different types of bread and 4 different types of butter. I tried the herb bread with plain butter and had they not been out I would have bought a loaf to take home. We went later in the afternoon and learned today that they sell out of the popular items by lunch. I did buy some cookies which are delicious and might not make it back home! Another favorite of mine is their scones but they were gone too. They also make sandwiches and have some tables to eat lunch. They do have a website where tthey list their items and specials they are making. They do not make the same thing every day. If you are in green bay I would totally swing over and get some fresh bread!!! read more

Pricey but worth it. Cheddar garlic rolls are absolutely yummy. This business is very community minded, donating cookies and rolls for veterans events and others in the area. I've never been to the actual store to have lunch or anything but have bought various breads at the farmers market. The unique flavors they offer are not found elsewhere. I love this place and try to go every chance I get since the closest one is over 2 hours away from my home. The bread is incredible. My favorite is the American Rye, but I truly love them all. We get our bread from here and it is the best. Always fresh and made with real ingredients you can understand. I like to stop in and order two loaves at a time. Eat one and freeze one. The bread thaws really well. I have tried almost all they have to offer at this point and my favorites are the Oregon bread and swirl (wheat/white mix). I love that they offer round loafs as well as sandwich loafs. Their butter spreads are delectable as well. I stopped in for a yelp event a while back and tried some of their sandwich options. I've loved Great Harvest since I was a teen in the 90's - I don't know how long it's been in the GB area but I think it's been in the western part of US for decades. The bread just can't be beat. I don't know how they do it. My son loves - LOVES - their avocado club sandwich and I love - LOVE - their Hungarian Mushroom soup. It's only served on Mondays. Different flavors each day. It's pretty common to see these guys at the Farmers Market and get a sample of their bread and your taste buds just want to scream, "I didn't know bread could taste this good!" I finally made the trek to their little location in De Pere. I went during the morning, and there was a good flow of people coming to get a quick cup of coffee, breakfast sandwich, or a loaf bread. What I didn't know is that they make breakfast sandwiches, and hot and cold sandwiches for lunch, plus different kinds of soup each day. They will also have monthly specials on breads, cookies, and other baked goods. I got the eggcellent ham sandwich (egg, hame, and cheese), and my mouth was blown away by such a simple sandwich. It's amazing how much fresh ingredients can make food that much better. Don't be alarm when bread comes out of the oven, because the whole staff will yell, "HOT BREAD!" They have a drive through and take order's ahead of time so all you have to do is order on the phone and roll up a few minutes later. Their staff is awesome as well. They offer samples, and the staff is very friendly. I lived in Green Bay for a few years and have since moved back to San Diego. A friend of mine sent me some bread from their bakery (at my request) and now I am craving their goods like mad to the point I may have to fly back out there for more.
