One of the best sub shop's I've been to! When visiting the De Pere area, there's tons of food options; however, Scott's is always a go to! Not only do they offer a wide variety of cold & hot subs, they also have great pizza, garlic bread, and ice cream. All bread is made in house which sets themselves apart. I personally love the Meatball Sandwich and even enjoyed the Rosemary Chips this visit. Definitely stop by Scott's Subs next time you're in town! Tip: Check their store hours before coming. Eating here is experience down memory lane for me. With many of the items seeming to knowingly or unknowingly mirror what used to be known as Hansens Dairy and Deli this place is sure to send you away with a smile. On my most recent visit it was a sub and single scoop cone. These subs are great, fresh baked soft Italian loafs make for the perfect vehicle to stuff my face with this goodness. Came to Wisconsin for a work trip and my client took us here for lunch. Ordered the Classic Italian and absolutely loved it. The bread is really baked fresh - it was a ciabatta, so a flatter bread, but perfectly paired with ingredients. I'm all too familiar with biting into hard bread from various sandwich spots I've visited, but the softness made the meal much more enjoyable. The ingredients were fresh as well. Got the works pizza today and it was spot on. The crust was thin and crispy. I overate but it was so tasty. Since they close at 3 on saturdays we took it as take and bake. For one trip we also got sandwiches for lunch. The philly sandwich is good but doesn't taste like a Philly. Honestly I think it has a LOT less seasoning and salt than a philly from a place in the mall. It is a good sandwich for sure. My favorite is still the chicken Parmesan though. read more

I come to De Pere on business around once a year, and I have to make a dedicated stop at Scott's Subs every time. I had it for lunch by chance at a meeting my first time here, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I load up with a few sandwiches on my way out of town for layovers on the way home. Can't recommend the Classic Italian enough. The line moves a little slow for my taste, so I always order online for pickup. Super convenient. Love it. The bread is the winner here. It's soft and fresh and delicious. I ordered a #4 turkey and it didn't disappoint. It was a perfect ratio of meat to cheese to lettuce to tomato to onion to pickles to mayo. Just perfect. They're sort of sqaure shaped, not long like a traditional sub. They offer a variety of Deep River chips - which are really, really good. We had them delivered so I can't speak to the restaurant itself but we ordered through Eat Street and it was super simple, fast and accurate. Can't wait to go back and try more. Oh my goodness! This is near a Hockey Rink and we were told best subs in town. Went in and the owner, Scott, was super kind but also super talkative. Chatting forever with two sets of customers in front of us I was annoyed but when the food came to me- yummy!! Perfect bread- 6" in sub but I swear the bread was 4 inches wide too. Light and perfect! My shredded pork Philly- the pork was done to the same perfection. They have pizza, ice cream and beer so one stop shop. Plus! Fresh cut grass smell when we ate outside- bonus. We were in town to drop our dog off at a training facility. I wanted lunch that wasn't from a chain and found this place on Yelp. Kids loved their ham and cheese subs. I am gluten free. They offered to put my sub on a bed of lettuce which was a great option that I enjoyed. Hardworking and really welcoming, friendly people. They make their own fresh bread daily. A friend encouraged me to try Scott's Subs when the family and I were in town for a hockey game at the local rink. What a great recommendation! Walked in to learn that they serve sandwiches, beer, and ice cream. What a great combination! I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich. It was fantastic. The pizza sauce had tons of flavor and there was lots of it. Perfect! My husband tried the feature sandwich - the rueben. He was impressed. I was also happy to learn that Scott's had a kids menu - called the J4K (Just for Kids). The kids menu contains many of the favorites that a kid would love. Our sandwiches arrived quickly after we ordered and with a smile. We matched our sandwiches with a couple of local craft beers. Scott's had an impressive selection of brews given it's a small sub shop. If we didn't have to run back to a freezing cold ice rink, I definitely would have tried the ice cream. They had a large variety of flavors. We attempted to return to Scott's the following day of the tournament with other hockey fans; however, we learned that they are closed on Sundays. As fans of the original Scott's location in Iron River, MI, we were excited to be in the Green Bay area for a skating tournament which was in the same area as the newly opened Scott's Subs in DePere. It is a stand-alone building in what is currently an undeveloped area, though bulldozers in the adjacent lot indicate signs of more to come. For a Saturday around 1 PM, the lot was packed. We came inside and the place is a lot bigger than it seems from the street. A long counter and a wide aisle next to it lets you see all the flavors of ice cream plus the entire menu posted on the wall. The surrounding walls are lined with Packers memorabilia and photos of famous Packers players like Donald Driver, Brett Favre and Reggie White. We ordered an original crust cheese/pepperoni pizza. Being from Chicago, few places up north know how to make a good pizza. This is one place that does, Packers-Bears rivalry aside. The pizza here was as good as we expected it to be. The original crust is a bit thicker than a thin crust and has more of a body to it than the crisp and skinny thin crust pizza. Around us, many tables were taken and people were enjoying the sub sandwiches that are the main attraction at Scott's. After the meal we had ice cream of course, just like we would at the other location. They even had our favorite Cedarcrest flavors. While Scott's is new to the area, I predict they will succeed because they have the same quality that made them a hit in the Iron River community. read more
