Sandwiches are okay, but expensive and not very filling at all. Finding the shop open can be hit and miss. Even if the signage says they should be open, they are usually closed. Sat night at 5:30 and they were closed. It worked out okay as we went to another place. We decided as a group last night that we won't be suggesting this for dinner anymore. I used to live in GB and when I moved back here this week. I ordered from Erbs and Gerbs and I was so excited to have it again. It wasn't great. Wayyyyyy too much Mayo. The inside of the bread was barely there. It was just not great. The soup was terrible. With as many places now that are offering homemade soups, they should be too. Erberts is one of my favorite sub spots in Green Bay. This particular location is close to my work so we order probably once a month from here and have never had a bad experience. Our orders are always correct, the sandwiches are delicious (the bread is over the top good) and they normally take around 30-45 minutes so it's not a terribly long wait. The online ordering is easy and user friendly and in this day and age, I'm all about ordering direct to support businesses. My personal favorite is the Titan - turkey with pesto mayo, sun dried tomatoes and cucumbers. It's good. Really, really, really good. My only complaint (and I don't know if this is the case for just this location or it's company wide) but I'd rather have a fountain soda than a bottled one. Not a deal breaker, obviously, but just a preference of mine. There are several locations in Green Bay; I've been to two of them and haven't been disappointed. I like this franchise of sandwich places. I am however not a fan of this new location. The location is not fully functional and is tiny. The building is still under construction and the staff made me slightly confused. I would order "wheat" bread and the guy taking my order made me repeat myself 3 times and laughed in my face. A little awkward to say the least. Three stars only because their food is always really good and the sandwiches are huge. I got the Titan sandwich and BBQ chips. This place is actually a fairly decent sandwich and soup shop. The sandwich itself was tasty with fresh ingredients. The staff was also quite friendly. My only concern is that the staff is not fully aware of the products. When I asked if a particular item was dairy free due to allergies for my wife, they could not be sure whether or not the item had the particular alleged or not. For a company that has posted proudly that they serve gluten-free bread but are not knowledgeable about other allergens, I just was a bit underwhelmed. Still, the food was probably four stars but knocked one off due to the knowledge of the staff. read more

I really wanted to like this place, since it seemed like it was a local sub place. Unfortunately, before I even tasted the sub, a sour taste was left in my mouth. My fiancé and I were getting subs to go, so we ordered and figured we would be out the door no problem. As I paid, I saw a tip line on the bill, so as the majority of consumers do when carrying out, I added no tip thinking it wouldn't be a problem (being a sub place, I haven't ever even seen a place asking for tip when dining in). Upon waiting for our sandwich at the counter, the cashier gave the sandwich guy a look, and he audibly asked her if I didn't tip. Upon shaking her head, he went sour and slopped our sandwiches together. The sandwich ingredients were promising, but didn't live up to the expectation we had. Ultimately, the experience was soured by the comments and actions of the employees. Sad it was the last establishment we visited before leaving Green Bay. read more

Haven't ordered from here for a while because the last 2 times I did it was disappointing. My co-workers were ordering so I joined in - 2 of the 3 soups were grossly watered down & 2 of the 3 subs were super short, but full priced. Italian sub had very little flavor which is odd for an Italian sub. Chicken sub had 1 pc of chicken on it. Provided our Society card # and they didn't say we qualified for a free sub which seems odd because we've only earned one and we've ordered from this store specifically numerous times with group orders in the past 2 years. Got our receipt and it said we have a 0 balance on the society card; I don't understand because WE JUST ORDERED 3 SUBS!? This store is not a good representation of the franchise. read more

The customer service is terrible. I placed an order for delivery and it has now been one hour and forty minutes since I ordered. I called to ask about my order and I was told too bad, eventually they will get to me. They are busy. When I ordered online, the delivery window was 40 minutes. Don't order from this location unless you don't expect food in a timely manner. Next time, I will butcher my own meat and bake the bread, grow the veggies and still eat before Erberts and Gerberts would have delivered. read more

Decent subs, sometimes slow, and after the dinner rush sometimes runs out of some of the specialty breads. Anytime there is an issue, staff are more than willing to make up for it. read more

Love the subs here, and the staff have always been friendly. Much better subs than say, Subway, so you do pay a premium for that. All in all, great quick service and a good sandwich shop. read more

I have been coming to Erbert and Gerbert's for years. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The food is great! I would recommend the Comet Morehouse. The soups are very good, along with the sandwiches. It is one of the best sub shops in town, right up there with Hansen's! It is a good place to take to go, but seating is available if needed. read more

I use to be a big fan of This sub shop. I like to support local business's. what business' forget is that it is a two way street. If your going to charge a bit more than spend a bit more on your employees. The rude, unprofessional , disrespectful "girl" you had answering the phones on February 12th isn't qualified to work at.....well work. She must be a relation to the owner because I can't imagine anyone else hiring someone with such a condescending attitude. Was told when I walked in the door that they couldn't make a sandwich for me for a "really long time, because of really big delivery orders that came in." I ordered two soups and two subs to go on a Friday night. The sub for my son is simple - turkey and cheese on white. The 2nd sub was for my wife, ordered a # 3 (turkey pesto) without tomato. I had a broccoli chedder soup and left one for my wife and her sub for when she returned home from work and grocery shopping, then I left for a few hours. I stopped back a couple hours later and asked how was the sub. She asked why I ordered it like I did. I said because you don't like tomatoes, she said why did you get it with no meat. I said huh? It turns out the turkey pesto sub was made without the turkey, and that is the main feature of the turkey pesto sub, and shows a level of mental fatigue on the not so bright employee. I stopped buying subs there for myself a couple years ago simply because they charge $2 extra for mediocre to bad gluten free bread and it's small bread and not filling at all so just not worth it. The soup is okay, it has that weird taste to it you get in mass made soups but pretty common for low end restaurants/convenience stores. And they do have wraps but nothing displayed on the menu board so you forget, or I do. That is my last visit to erberts, they haven't earned my repeat business, and already had a 3-5 years of not going there due to similar frustrations over the years. read more
