    Bill for one medium meal

I just bought the shrimp one it was so horrible that I threw it in the trash. $25 later I'm still hungry

This lady is always in a bad mood I'm going to avoid now if I see she's the one working! I went last night around 8:30! I'll post pics with time stamp but they're supposed to close at 9 why at 8:30 was everything cleaned up? Then when ask if closed she laughs then smirks and walks away. This lady hates her job and it shows

Pieces of plastic in my food!

Found pieces of what seems like cut up plastic in my food! Not okay. They should get shut down with all the review I just found with same experiences. I don't know how many I might have accidentally ate! I thought it was just one but then I found more! Unacceptable. It's mall food and I don't expect much from service to food wise but this is not okay. Will not be eating here again.

First time trying this place out. It is located in Cerritos mall in the food court. The food is amazing! Fresh noodles & everything was amazing! The customer service was great everyone helped me out with my order! Would come again!

    Manager
    Jay C.

After they made the wrong order (shrimp instead of beef), I politely asked to just add the beef without cooking the whole thing over. So as I'm eating the new meat, I bit onto something extremely hard. It was ROCK. It was black and sharp. I took it back to show them and the manager did not seem to care and even laughed. I was upset and was not kidding. She took the rock to inspect and started looking on the floor. I asked her, "why are you looking at the ground for? Did it come from there?". She blamed the cook and said he's new. I asked the cook who seem to not speak English. They don't know where it came from. She had a smile the whole time. No refund. No solution. No nothing. I used to love this restaurant, but not with these careless a**holes working here. I'm good.

Didn't get the order right and didn't let us pick our sauces

I wouldn't even rate it a star, but I can't. Food was awful we had to wait so long for us to get it, didn't even give us napkins or anything.

    Bit into steel wool

Used to love this place growing up but what happened to the quality? Food is dry or burnt. Even found a piece of steel wool in the food... I want to keep giving this place faith that it'll come back but now it's just dangerous to eat.

    Combo #1
    Julio G.

Located inside Cerritos mall Dining area parking located nearest to freeway Walk in then to the right. Combo #1 comes with a drink. Great flavor, but meats and noodle were a bit dry. Employees were very nice and respectful to us. I highly recommend as a treat. And I will be coming back to re-evaluate their meal

The plastic that my partner and I almost ate as it was wrapped in the meat.

The service here is very poor, the older lady working the resgister is very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Not to mention their prices keep going up each time I visit. I wouldn't mind paying $15 if I was able to add what I wanted and however much I wanted, but they're charging $15 for a small bowl that is limited to a certain weight of meat that they put together for you. Or you can pay $17 for slightly more meat, or around $20 for enough meat to actually fill you up. I can easily go 5 minutes away to the Mongolian food at the Lakewood mall. The prices there are cheaper and you get to build your own bowl. This place is a ripoff and I will not be returning. I also found a piece of melted plastic in my meal which was very disturbing.

The people at the register are rude to the cooks. They made a mistake and blamed the cook.

THE BEST KOREAN FOOD…read more As Texans visiting California, we did not expect to find one of the best meals we've ever had--but this Korean BBQ spot completely exceeded our expectations! We ordered the brisket, pork belly, and bulgogi, and every single dish was incredible. The meats were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly right at the table. The brisket was tender, the pork belly had the perfect balance of crispy and juicy, and the bulgogi was packed with amazing flavor. The side dishes were delicious too, and the cheesy fried rice at the end was the perfect way to finish the meal. What truly made this experience stand out was the service. The manager was incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout our visit. Since we're still fairly new to Korean food, we had quite a few questions, and he took the time to explain everything without making us feel rushed. His recommendations were spot-on, and his genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was fun, lively, and perfect for sharing a meal with family and friends. Between the amazing food and outstanding customer service, this was easily the best meal we've had during our time in California. If you're looking for authentic Korean BBQ with exceptional service, do yourself a favor and come here. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in California!

We stopped by for dinner on the Fourth of July after landing at LAX and gopchang was the only thing on our minds. Since it was just the two of us, the service was impeccable. Huge shoutout to Daniel and Suhyeon for their warm hospitality and attentiveness throughout the meal. The ambiance is cozy and homey, with that classic hole-in-the-wall charm and a lively late-night vibe, complete with K-pop playing on the big screen. We ordered the large beef intestines combo, split half regular and half spicy, which ended up being the perfect combination. We also added an order of brisket and the spicy cold noodles. The noodles were incredible; perfectly chewy with just the right amount of spice, and they paired so well with everything else. The banchan was also fresh, plentiful and thoughtfully prepared. We'll definitely be back the next time a gopchang craving hits!

The Korean corn dogs are the real star here. Crispy on the outside with that signature crunchy coating, and soft, cheesy goodness on the inside--every bite is insanely satisfying. Whether you go for the classic sausage, the half mozzarella combo, or one of the loaded options rolled in toppings like potatoes or crunchy crumbs, you really can't go wrong. The texture alone is next level. What makes these Korean-style hotdogs stand out is the variety and creativity. They're not just your average corn dogs--they're coated in panko or unique toppings and often filled with gooey cheese, which gives them that iconic stretch and flavor people love . The sauces take everything up another notch. Sweet, spicy, tangy--mix and match to your taste and you've got a flavor combo that hits every time. Pair it with a side like tteokbokki or fries, and it turns into the perfect comfort meal. Overall, this spot nails it with flavor, texture, and creativity. If you've never had a Korean corn dog before, this is the place to try it--and if you have, you already know why it's worth coming back again and again. Definitely a 5-star experience!

On previous visits, we'd be seated and end up waiting over 30 minutes before anyone even came to help us. After ordering, we'd still wait another 10 minutes or more for our food. This visit was a completely different experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Service was much faster, and we never felt forgotten. The food is still just as amazing as it's always been. It doesn't seem like anything has changed with the menu or the quality, which I'm happy about. The only small change I noticed is that the kids' meal now only applies to children under 5. That's not a huge deal, but personally I think it would make more sense if it were available for kids up to age 11. Overall, the new management seems to have made a noticeable improvement to the service while keeping the great food that keeps us coming back. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

What a disappointing experience…read more I brought my parents (84-year-old mom and 92-year-old dad) to dinner at approximately 4:10 PM. The restaurant was nearly empty -- maybe 3-4 parties total. We were initially told by an employee to sit anywhere, then immediately afterward told we needed to sign in and wait. Confusing, but okay -- we signed in around 4:15 PM. Then we waited...and waited...in a mostly empty restaurant. I politely asked multiple times whether we could place an order. One waitress responded, "Sorry, I just got here," which did nothing to address the situation or explain the process. What became frustrating was watching a party of 10 get seated while several members of their group arrived later. We were told, while pointing to that group, "they were here first." Only 2 of the 8 were present when we arrived. Maybe they technically checked in first -- but from a customer perspective, when a nearly empty restaurant leaves elderly guests waiting without explanation while accommodating a large incomplete party, it feels dismissive and poorly managed. We left, utterly dissapointed. This isn't about getting special treatment. It's about basic hospitality, communication, and situational awareness. Recommendation to management: * Train staff on guest communication and ownership ("I just got here" is not a customer-facing solution). * Establish and consistently explain seating policies. * Empower hosts to use judgment for elderly guests and small parties when capacity clearly exists. * Review camera footage from approximately 4:10-4:45 PM to evaluate queue handling, staff coordination, and whether customer experience matched intended policy. Common courtesy and common sense are part of hospitality. This experience missed both. To Manager Ms. Nguyen, please address this.
