Looking for a quick bite with a large group, the decision was to eat at the food court where everyone had choices. After browsing around at the various options, I was attracted to all the veggies that would be freshly cooked with my meat(s) of choice. Watching the gentlemen cooking the food on the large grill was enticing as well. I opted for the medium bowl with offers 8oz of meat and unlimited veggies. At $19.99 It is so much food it could easily feed 2-3 people. How did 8oz of meat and tons of veggies turn into "tons of food"???? When they cook the meat and veggies, they cook it with a heaping pile of noodles. Once cooked, it fills a box. Just by the weight of it, you know if will be more than a meal. Served piping hot and fresh, it was delicious. For a food court meal, I was really impressed. The employees were working really hard, especially the men cooking. Great Khan's Mongolian Grill has always been my go-to lunch spot inside a mall. I've had it near my workplace in Burbank Mall and here in Cerritos Mall. Today, I came to Cerritos Mall to buy some stuff for my trip next month, and I got hungry and decided to stop by the Great Khan's. As you can tell from my pictures, this place is clean, which is why I enjoy coming here. I got myself a large Mongolian stir-fried noodle bowl with carrots, green peppers, onions, jalapeños, mushrooms, broccoli, and all their sauces and garlic. Their vegetable bar always looks fresh, and the clean area is always nice to see. The man who cooks the meal bowl has been working there for a while and already has the system perfected. He cooked my meal perfectly and always served it to me extremely hot. When I ordered my food and received it, it took about 10 minutes. My food was packed with flavor, hot and spicy, which I loved. The noodles were perfectly cooked and always the highlight of this meal. Add some Sriracha and soy sauce, and the meal is amped up by 100%. In conclusion, this meal cost me $22.98 and was worth every penny. If it wasn't obvious, I will be returning, and I highly recommend this place if you shop inside Cerritos Mall. read more

For a quick bite in this amazing mall. It was nice and fresh. I can't comment too much on ambiance since it was in a mall. But the overall look of the establishment was cute. The food was prepared perfectly as you get to choose all your add ins. From small to a large serving. The Regular size portion was huge and satisfied. Went today the food use to be great but since Covid has changed. Hey I know prices have gone up but we are gonna pay more the we want what we are paying for as well, only far right? They put the meat on for you and that's ok but the veggies they offer is way less. I like tomatoes and is no longer offered why is that? Look I do t mind paying a bit more it comes with our times but be realistic we also want what we are paying for or else people will stop going. So as I'm eating the new meat, I bit onto something extremely hard. It was ROCK. It was black and sharp. I took it back to show them and the manager did not seem to care and even laughed. I was upset and was not kidding. She took the rock to inspect and started looking on the floor. I asked her, "why are you looking at the ground for? Did it come from there?". She blamed the cook and said he's new. I asked the cook who seem to not speak English. They don't know where it came from. She had a smile the whole time. No refund. No solution. No nothing. I was craving Mongolian so we decided to try this place after watching a movie at Harkins. The choices are small, medium, and large; we chose the large for $20 plus tax. Good portions, weight came in at 2lbs 12oz but we received lots of broccoli and not enough water chestnuts as you don't serve yourself. Some have suggested that noodles are dry and this is the case if you wait until you get home, however, mixing the noodles will subdue this. Decided to try this old fav in the cerritos mall. Issues with bad service didn't happen for me as noted in yelpers past posts. Food quality (good) was what we've experienced in past visits. It's mall Food Court food so average seems to be the standard. A regular bowl could feed 2 people. The only thing is you can't control level of seasoning once it reaches the grill top since it is also seasoned with past orders so there might be some spicy flavors coming your way even if you didn't request it. read more

I was looking for a healthy option and this looked interesting. I got the bowl only which came to $12ish and loaded up on chicken and lots of veg. The guy was being generous with the noodles a little too much for me so I told him it's okay and to give me less lol. I loved their choices in veggies, condiments (garlic, spicy chili oil, pineapple, mushrooms, etc.). It was a little on the oily and salty side however. Good fast somewhat healthy option especially at the mall! The cashier was friendly too. The service here is very poor, the older lady working the resgister is very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Not to mention their prices keep going up each time I visit. I wouldn't mind paying $15 if I was able to add what I wanted and however much I wanted, but they're charging $15 for a small bowl that is limited to a certain weight of meat that they put together for you. Or you can pay $17 for slightly more meat, or around $20 for enough meat to actually fill you up. I can easily go 5 minutes away to the Mongolian food at the Lakewood mall. The prices there are cheaper and you get to build your own bowl. This place is a ripoff and I will not be returning. Just left this place and I'm super irritated and disappointed. I've been coming to this location since the 90s. Always loved it and even though the changes sucked, I still came since I crave it on the regular. Ordered a large and am standing there watching them cook it. As the guy is pouring the food into the box, he spills about 1/5 of it into the little food catcher underneath the grill. He laughs and said "I went to fast" and hands me the box. I tell him that I saw him spill a ton of my food and he gets all pissed and says he'll make me a new one. I didn't even want a whole new one, just cook a little more to compensate for what he dropped. I'm not paying for a large to get a medium. So I stand there waiting and he proceeds to clean the grill.. and then cook up the next 6 orders. First 4 orders were larges and each order he spilled a crap ton of their food. I'm gradually getting more pissed waiting for him to help me, and finally I had enough and ask when he's going to help me out. He says "go talk to the cashier and I'll make you another one! Don't you see I'm busy?!". He told me he'd help me and instead saw me standing there waiting, hoping I'd go away. Needless to say, got my refund and bought my son lunch at sbarros. Been a faithful customer for over 20 years and I'm done. Rather go to the all you can eat down the street. The older gentleman cooks have always been so nice and sweet. I eat here exclusively when shopping at the mall. The food is good, there's A LOT, and the employees are so friendly. They have a great selection of veggies and meat, and tofu as well for my fellow vegetarians. Tons of sauces with varying spiciness.
