    HOT CHEETOS ORIGINAL CORNDOG
    Joshua O.

I went here on June 30, 2024. I got the hot Cheeto dog. Not as spicy as I thought it would be. It was covered with more Cheeto dust but I opened the box accidentally and some dust fell off. The service was great. The cashier was nice. It took around 5 minutes to get it. K-pop played through the speaker. The inside was small, I saw one or two tables. I took the hot dog to go.

I've been here once before for a Japanese style corn dog with the mochi corn dog batter and it was inedible because of the prominent taste of old oil. Had a craving for mochi donuts and hoped for the best. They have a three donut minimum, which costed $10. Bought strawberry, maple, and Nutella flavored. Had two to three bites of each; however, like my last experience over a year ago, the prominent flavor was old grease. Consistency is a bad thing in this case. First one star review in months.

I was on my way to work starving and needed a quick snack. There are so many options between Long Beach and Cerritos, but I decided to stop by Mochinut for the first time. I'll admit, I was a little overwhelmed by all the different varieties of corn dogs they had, but Nick was incredibly patient and friendly. He took the time to answer all my questions and even gave some great recommendations. He suggested I try the sugar flavor on my next visit, which I'm already looking forward to. The vibe was super chill for a Sunday afternoon. Customer service stood out to me. The corn dogs were great. Definitely plan on coming back again! The mozzarella with potatoes was soooo good!!!

I'm all about fairness, so after a not-so-great experience with this store a few years ago, I figured it's only right to update my review based on my recent visits and honestly, they've been great. We haven't had their mochi donuts in a while, but we always come back for their Korean rice flour hotdogs. They are always made fresh to order, hot, crispy, and super satisfying. The price is good too, especially for the quality you're getting. Our personal favorites are #1 and #2. The cheese pull never gets old, we seriously look forward to it every time! Don't forget to ask for a dusting of sugar, it does add a nice extra flavor. If I'm picking up a bigger order, I usually call ahead and it's ready when I get there. The staff have been really nice and it seems like they're making upgrades inside. There is seating on both sides if you want to chill and eat. There is tons of parking which is always a plus. Makes picking up food very easy.

My kid lives the mochi Doughnuts from here. Only drawback they are usually never fresh. Think they are made once a day until they sell out. Drinks are cute and colorful, but just ok for me. Korean Hot Dogs are pretty good. I usually get mine half cheese half sausage. Spicy ones are good too. Staff at register sometimes nice and helpful, sometimes look like they wanna go home. But there for the mochi doughnuts so...

TL;DR - pretty good donuts & drinks, solid spot. - my fav is the churro donut the staff varies, some friendly & some super quiet - the brown sugar milk tea is also really yummy - some seating and very nice interior, can get pretty busy & cramped i lowkey love the mochi because it makes the dessert more special! i would recommend, a nice quick spot to get something sweet!

I came here when it was still Chun Chun Rice Hotdog / Mochinut, and I thought it was okay. Now that it's just Mochinut, I think it's a lot better! I got the Ddeokbokki with Cheese & Original Dog, Thai Milk Tea, and Green Milk Tea. The Ddeokbokki with Cheese & Original Dog was perfect. The Ddeokbokki with Cheese had perfect chewy rice cakes, sweet and spicy sauce, and a good amount of cheese. The Original Dog was chopped up and ready to be thrown into the Ddeokbokki. I thought they would give it to me already assembled, but I love how they give it to you separately so the Original Dog doesn't get soggy. The Thai Milk Tea and Green Milk Tea were delicious and not served in the usual cans. The employees were nice! I only spotted two employees; one taking orders and one making the orders. It was a bit later at night so I understand. The cafe was clean despite the constant amount of people coming in and out and the people ordering and sitting. There was plenty of seating, and the tables were clean! This location has more variety and food options than the Mochinut in Long Beach so I would come here again!

Mochinut is always yummy and awesome! I love how light, fluffy and flavorful their donuts are. And the best part, well they're super artsy looking. I've been to both Cerritos and Buena Park (at The Source) locations and they're both awesome. Great service and the donuts are always freshly served!

This place has some of the best mochi donuts I've tried around Cerritos! They have a great variety both in their food and drinks items, so there's something for everyone. I enjoy coming here for their corndogs as well whether craving something funky like their hot Cheeto covered mozzarella or just a plain corn dog. Their staff is very friendly and every time I've been here it's been busy but they handle it like champs. The place itself is small with limited seating but nevertheless still a very enjoyable spot.

The price is totally worth it--they're so delicious and chewy! The best decision is to go for the donut holes so you can try every flavor

This place always hits whenever I go! This is actually my favorite spot to get Korean Corndogs! They've got a pretty good selection of Korean corn dogs and drinks, oh yeah and mochi donuts too! We never usually get mochi donuts here though because they're so pricey for how little they are. Corn dogs and drinks are decently priced though! Servers are always friendly! Corndogs do take a bit to come out just because they freshly fry them! What I ordered: -Half Mozzarella Half Hot Dog: This is the classic kind of corn dog and it was so good! I opted for no sugar because I wanted more of a savory vibe. It was super hot too so be careful when biting. I will say it's on the smaller side but I don't like too much of this fried kind of flavor so it's a perfect size for me! 4/5 -Peach Green Tea: This is really good too, but kind of on the watery side. You could definitely taste the peach though and it's a refreshing drink! It is kind of strong caffeine-wise, it got me jittery. 4/5 Overall, this is a consistently good place for Korean Corndogs and drinks! Other tasty items are the potato hot dog, ube milk tea boba, and mango green tea! I definitely recommend this place for the food and drinks! **They also have super cool Halloween decorations rn too so be sure to check them out this fall season!**

Such cute and delicious donuts. The flavors here are great and I absolutely love the texture of mochi donuts. They have rotating flavors, but my favorite is the cookies & cream and dark chocolate. These are great because the donut isn't sweet, but rather the frosting on top, which makes a perfect balance. We also tried the hot Cheeto mozzarella dog and it wasn't the best. It was soggy and not crunchy at all. I'm not sure why this happened, but I wouldn't get that again. The service whenever I come here is pretty monotone to be honest. From the times I've been, it hasn't been cheerful or enthusiastic. Another thing that sucks is that you can't get the donuts individually, it has to be a 6 pack or more, which is odd. It would be better if we could get individuals or less than 6 because it can get costly and not everyone wants that many. If you're on the fence, then I'd say give the donuts a try.

Ask the Community - Mochinut - Cerritos

Are mochinuts gluten and dairy free? Actually, found the answer on their website!…

How can I get hold of the store, phone number is a non working number?

We went earlier today. The entire shopping center lost power in the morning so they were closed, along with the other businesses in the plaza, and Mochinut's phone line was down. I suggest you try again over the next few days

How busy is it during the evenings?

No line when I went during the evening

How is this place compared to fill bakeshop's mochi donuts?

Texture is similar and slightly crispier as others have mentioned (Mochinut makes these fresh all day, whereas Fill's makes their donuts in the morning until they run out)… Read more

How busy is in the mornings?

Hi. The mornings I've been there haven't been as busy as the lunch times.

    Are there any gluten-free options?

The Korean corn dogs are the real star here. Crispy on the outside with that signature crunchy coating, and soft, cheesy goodness on the inside--every bite is insanely satisfying. Whether you go for the classic sausage, the half mozzarella combo, or one of the loaded options rolled in toppings like potatoes or crunchy crumbs, you really can't go wrong. The texture alone is next level. What makes these Korean-style hotdogs stand out is the variety and creativity. They're not just your average corn dogs--they're coated in panko or unique toppings and often filled with gooey cheese, which gives them that iconic stretch and flavor people love . The sauces take everything up another notch. Sweet, spicy, tangy--mix and match to your taste and you've got a flavor combo that hits every time. Pair it with a side like tteokbokki or fries, and it turns into the perfect comfort meal. Overall, this spot nails it with flavor, texture, and creativity. If you've never had a Korean corn dog before, this is the place to try it--and if you have, you already know why it's worth coming back again and again. Definitely a 5-star experience!

What I received was essentially a regular steamed-style burger with smash-style sauce on it. There was no char, no crust, and none of the texture you would expect from a smash burger. I was very disappointed. The patty was soft and heavy in a way that didn't feel special or well-executed. We also ordered the chili fries with pastrami, which honestly helped save the meal. The flavor on those was decent, though I personally wish they used regular-cut fries instead of crinkle cut, which made it feel more processed than it needed to be. On the positive side, parking was easy in the plaza with wide spaces, and the wait time was reasonable--about 15 minutes for three burgers and fries. The establishment appears to be Filipino-owned. The menu simply says "burger," but Yelp labels it as a smash burger spot, which is confusing because the presentation includes brioche buns and a smash-style mustard sauce, but not the actual cooking technique of a smash burger. It's unclear what they are trying to be. Overall, it just didn't meet expectations. I'll stick with For The Win instead.
