We usually go to King Chang whenever we're craving gopchang, but Seoul Belly might just be tied as my new favorite spot; especially for their large beef intestines. We stopped by for dinner on the Fourth of July after landing at LAX and gopchang was the only thing on our minds. Since it was just the two of us, the service was impeccable. Huge shoutout to Daniel and Suhyeon for their warm hospitality and attentiveness throughout the meal. The ambiance is cozy and homey, with that classic hole-in-the-wall charm and a lively late-night vibe, complete with K-pop playing on the big screen. We ordered the large beef intestines combo, split half regular and half spicy, which ended up being the perfect combination. We also added an order of brisket and the spicy cold noodles. The noodles were incredible; perfectly chewy with just the right amount of spice, and they paired so well with everything else. The banchan was also fresh, plentiful and thoughtfully prepared. We'll definitely be back the next time a gopchang craving hits!

This was a great dinner! We got 2 combo plates - bulgogi and pork belly with 2 sides of rice. It was enough for 2 adults and 2 kids! We left full! We were the first ones in when they opened for dinner and service was quick. World cup was on in the background while we were eating. There's restaurant parking and also some street parking! Will definitely be back with friends to try other food on the menu!

If you're a fan of gopchang, Seoul Belly is definitely worth checking out. The gopchang was some of the fattiest and juiciest I've had, with a great smoky flavor from the grill and the perfect chewy texture. The pork belly was also cooked beautifully and paired well with all the banchan. One of my favorite parts of the meal was the spicy bibim naengmyeon. The cold noodles were refreshing and balanced out all the rich grilled meats perfectly. Add a shot of soju, and it's a combination that's hard to beat. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. If you're looking for a spot for Korean BBQ, gopchang, and Korean comfort food in Artesia, Seoul Belly is definitely worth a visit.

Discovered this place through social media and am happy to report it is 100% worth the hype. Came on a Friday at opening and was seated right away. The parking lot is small so some of us parked on the street. The inside is cozy, cool (temperature wise), and was playing old school Korean music. Service was attentive too. Got 3 combo orders (large intestine (half mala and half regular), beef brisket, and pork belly). The combos also come with spicy rice cake, corn cheese, soybean stew, and steamed egg. What we loved is that everything that comes with the meal was delicious! The mala flavor of the intestine isn't that spicy but has a delicious flavor and slight numbing. Price is super reasonable as well. Everyone in the party all agree we would come back.

So I thought this place was definitely clean and thankfully we were the first ones there at opening on a Sunday so not too many people. I only see this place really with a line later in the night. We ordered half small and large with a side of pork belly. I was anticipating the side of pork belly to be more than one piece of Pork belly since the bill came and we were charged $21.99 and the waiter told us that it would be around $70 for the entire thing. Since I did ask him that I didn't want the $21.99 cause I figured that was definitely More than what we got usually right? I just told him k wanted a little bit and he said others do that too but the price for that is not on the menu u but they work it out with their customers. So I was confused about that. We got billed $90+ for half and half and a side of pork belly which I know was one piece only since I saw 6 one inch cut pieces. Nothing more. That annoyed me. But it's not bad food. I think it's good. The best? No.... The price? I mean where is it cheap nowadays. Just bummed that we got charged more than I was told. If that is the $21.99 that's on the menu for pork belly then don't order that since that's only 6 cut pieces of pork belly for $22. That's highway robbery already. You guys need to clarify this stuff better to your customers cause money doesn't come easy.

I used to be a frequent visitor of Songhak, so when I found out that Seoul Belly was opening and also have intestines, I knew I have to check them out! We ordered a medium combo of large intestines half spicy and half regular. We also added an order of spicy pork belly. Everything was so good and you can tell they use high quality intestines/meat. Next time though, I will stick to the regular, as the spicy sauce makes the meat a bit too sweet and greasy. Their cold noodle was so good and refreshing! It paired super well with the intestines/meat. The staff were super attentive and kept checking up on us! Their set up is really cool, as they have the chairs with the compartment where you can put your belongings inside to prevent the smell.

Ordered the medium intestine platter with half spicy and half regular. Easy 5/5. It had been a while since having intestines, so this really hit the spot. Everything was cooked well and full of flavor. Service was also 5/5. Our server gave solid recommendations and kept things running smoothly. No complaints. Ambiance gets another 5/5. It felt authentic without trying too hard. Good vibes. Definitely coming back!

Food- excellent. I normally am not a fan of intestines, but the sauce kept me coming back for more. I guess it's a love hate dish for me. The thinly slices porkbelly was like a roller coaster of fat and spicies taking me on a trip to flavor town. All of it went down the hatch with a crisp glass of cold Cass beer. Very nice meal on a cold night. Service- good and attentive to.our needs. Ambiance.- small and cozy. Great place to meet up with a small group Cleanliness- i would eat here. Bathroom- clean , one for men and one women. Parking - decent more than 10 spots, but tight. Cost- reasonable

I would choose this over any Korean bbq AND Korean restaurant any day!! mala intestines was so yummy and a meal for 2 people was so affordable

Omg!!!!!!!! Best gobchang places ive went so far!!!!!services was also good !! Highly recommend this new spot!!!

This location previously had a similar menu but closed during the pandemic. It had an old school vibe, definitely quieter. This reopened spot is geared towards a younger crowd of barflies pocha eats spot. Music is quite loud but I hear that makes patrons eat more or faster. Our family came here for dinner, and it was quite busy and loud. Not the typical AYCE Korean bbq, but the kind where your server also cooks your food on the tabletop grill. Food menu features pre grilled meats that get a final sear on an iron grill heated by sterno packs. We got a mixture of snowflake pork belly (it's pre-scored to tenderize) , thin sliced beef and a side of small intestines. The server brought out the raw beef and the pork and intestine half done , to finish cooking on the grill. The dumplings with beef stew is brought out arranged very carefully on a round metal plate, then hot broth poured over all to keep cooking, also using sterno packs to heat. Delicious. The table shared a cabbage stew, and a cold noodle soup. The meal included steamed egg that had some fish roe and seaweed. Side dishes of white kimchi, sliced onions with bean sprouts & potato salad. Very satisfying meal. Parking is shared with apartments in the rear, so watch where you are parked - some spaces are designated tenant only. Be prepared for a smoky experience, recommend very casual wear (translation: check your hamper for cleanish clothing, lol).

First time going to Seoul Belly! Went there for dinner last night, it was better than I had thought. The vibe is great, perfect amount of people inside with no wait. Our server was kind, professional, and comfortable to interact with. He recommended the main a little bit of everything entree with one of the belly sides. KBBQ is in my top 3 all time meals along with Italian and Japanese, so very excited to see what this is all about. The best part of the experience is all of the items were home style. The sauces, salad, dips, and sides were uniquely flavorful compared to some of the other chain bbq establishments. My favorite was the large or small intestine, delicious! Definitely looking forward to coming back for the thin sliced spicy belly and one of the soups. Saw other people ordering them, it all looked worth it.

Second time coming here and my fiance and I love the place. Both times we got thin pork belly (we love pork belly). I love the mix you get on the meat platter and its perfect amount for both of us. It comes with side dishes and on the platter is bean sprouts, corn cheese, egg, onions, garlic and mushroom mixed. Then there is one item on there that we are not too sure what it is, but it seems like white kimchi. The service was very quick and the staff was very attentive to make sure all of our needs were being met. I would definitely recommend this place. If you are craving something korean bbq style but not too hungry and dont want ayce, definitely try the place out!

I'd never been there before, so this review is all about first impressions. As we approached, the sign caught my attention: "Under New Ownership." Outside, an employee sat scrolling on his phone. It was a quiet Sunday around 3 PM, and we were the only patrons in sight. Checking Yelp beforehand had been a bit of a letdown, as their menu featured items they no longer offer. No links were available either. We ordered half a pound of pulled pork, half a pound of brisket, and four pieces of cornbread--all priced reasonably. Their tap selection turned out to be decent. The Cali Squeeze Blood Orange was a standout, and they also seemed to carry Firestone Walker products, including 805. The staff were friendly and responsive, which was refreshing. While the brisket had cooled by the time we got home, it was still tender and flavorful--just like the pulled pork. The real surprise? The chimichurri that accompanied the brisket--an unexpected and delightful touch. Overall, I'd rate the experience as average. While it's clear they've got potential, a bit more effort could turn Wholly Smokes into a go-to spot. Leaning in on those small details would really elevate the experience.

We ordered: - sweet potato fries (this was the best thing from our order) - 5 pc drumsticks (very little sauce and no flavor once biting in. It also tasted a little undercooked because it was pink and slimy, so couldn't eat more than a bite) - regular tteokbokki (flavor was fine but the rice cake was over cooked with barely any sauce) This was pretty disappointing given we came super hungry, especially the kids. I just hope it was an off night in the kitchen because the drumsticks were so bad for a chicken spot. I usually love their wings so now we know never to order drumsticks or anything else besides their wings and sweet potato fries.

During our most recent visit, we waited 25 minutes for rice paper--and only received it after asking a second time.
