This was my first time visiting Taconazo today, and I have to say the experience was excellent from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and taken care of by a cashier named Joana, and her customer service truly stood out. She was extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful in answering all the questions I had about the menu. Honestly, the way Joana treated us made such a great impression that I would come back just for the service alone, even before mentioning the food. She made the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. I ordered a michelada, and it was excellent clearly made with care, and she really knows how to serve a proper draft beer. The food overall was also great, everything we ordered was delicious and well prepared. For me, the fish and shrimp were the best out of all them. I love how the seasoning on the el pastor it's not too pineappley. I love that it was self seat as well and it was super spacey and clean despite how busy it was. Best fish tacos and I'm not exaggerating! So good I drive out from Long Beach to here without a hesitation. On top of the actual food here the service is top notch, they have a separate to-go area, the ordering process is fast at the counter for dining in, the food comes out fast and they also check up on you during and after your eating. To start off they have a parking lot where they have an attendant to guide you where to park and to make it more efficient. They can guide you for the take out area too. They have a decent amount of parking too but beware this place gets so busy. The menu options here are so good, their two taco combo or three taco combo is a good option. I recommend their fish tacos, al pastor, or potato. Their fish tacos are so consistent and non greasy. Their fish tacos comes with cabbage, pico de gallo and a crema. The crema is amazing! Their combos come with chips, refried beans, rice which are all great. It will be leaving you with leftovers. If you want this combo all combined with the fish tacos, I would recommend their burrito. The burrito is mouth watering and this is all I get now. Pair your food with an agua fresca or horchata too. I was craving fish tacos and in my opinion, there is no better place than Taco Nazo and also the only way to eat the fish or shrimp tacos is right as soon as they serve it to you. I do not like ordering it for take away. I really only order the fish or shrimp tacos here. I'm not fond of the other varieties of tacos except the cheese Taco dorado. My family wanted fish tacos for lunch and decided to do a quick pick up at Taco Nazo. The place was pretty very busy and there was almost no parking spots left. We ordered the tacos to go since when we got there it looked too busy and the express looked quicker. I've eaten here several times and really enjoy the tacos. I mainly order carne asada and al pastor. This time I also tried a burrito which was very tasty. The meats always have great flavor and the tortillas don't get soggy when you take the tacos home as they're packed really well. You can eat in at a separate building or pick up at a smaller building right next door. The parking is a bit crazy but they have parking attendants to help direct. The batter was delightfully crunchy, the fish was flavorful and mild, the slaw was fresh, the white crema added a nice tang... Everything was on point! & I really loved the lemon pepper seasoning on the chile gueritos. I don't normally eat them with my tacos, but they were so addicting! If you want the most bang for your buck, order the Any 2 or Any 3 Taco Combo. They come with beans, rice, salsa, chile gueritos and a regular drink. (You can upgrade to a small aqua fresca for an extra $1.25. And/or add a small shrimp cocktail for $6.50-- all super worth it!) The icing on top was that the service was so good! It's 8:30 on a Friday night and the line is spilling out the front door and starting to trickle into the parking lot and street. A few steps away, the take-out annex is buzzing with people and the cars on the street are honking at the drivers partially blocking the flow of traffic to squeeze themselves into the packed parking lot. I've visited other Taco Nazo locations before, but this one is special. Their tacos just taste better here. And it's one of their few locations that offers ample parking and table seating but clearly it fills up quickly. I don't understand why this place does not have 5 stars?!? From the moment I parked until I got up to leave, the service is undeniably the best! The parking guy (sorry I did not get any of their names) guided me to where I could park and I asked him what's good there. I'm not sure what the hype about this place is. The food is incredibly average. Walk down any LA street and you'll find amazing street tacos. The main highlight is definitively the service. They're very on top of everything and you're very well taken care of. They also give you a free fish taco if it's your first time. The fish is friend. The shrimp is fried. The guac is flavorless. The guac has seemingly nothing in it aside from avocados. It's incredibly loud inside and it's difficult to hear other members of your table when talking to each other. They came with double tortillas, and they were so generous with the meat that I ended up separating the tortillas and spreading the filling out to make extra tacos. In total, I basically turned them into 7 tacos (the shrimp taco stayed as just one). The tacos also came with a spicy chili and a really delicious red sauce. We just grabbed the food to go and ate in the car since the parking lot for the dine-in looked pretty packed and the night was too chilly to stand outside the to-go area to eat. I usually don't order shrimp because I'm a bit picky about the texture and taste, but wow. The shrimp taco was way better than I expected. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, it was nice and soft with a nice springy chew. The batter was also done really well; it wasn't too heavy and had just the right amount of crispiness. As lovely and as nice as the people are at Taco Nazo, I don't think it's worth the wait, and recommend ordering ahead. I waited in line for 47 minutes, and by the time I actually got my food it had been an hour and a few minutes. And I started standing in line at 2, and when I left at 3:20, the line was still just as long. I would recommend order online or the to-go window out front. The people working here really are so nice but they're busy busy busy. You get a free fish tacos if it's your first time visiting. The fish tacos are truly next level. The shrimp taco is ok but not quite as flavorful. I also love their ceviche. I get the mixta because I like it with the octopus and artificial crab as well. The tostadas are perfectly crispy. There is seating inside and they do a great job finding you the right table. It's a casual spot. But one thing that was frustrating, almost every party around me in line had more people join their party as we got to the front. Each group of 1-2 people turned into 6+ people. Portions as always are very generous! Taco Nazo makes the best fish tacos! I also ordered their potato tacos, another great pick! Their plates come with hige portions of rice and beans. When my family from Hawaii come to visit, they always want to come to Taco Nazo in Bellflower. This is our choice to satisfy our fish taco cravings. The fish is fresh and flaky and that crispy golden batter is what you love in a Baja fish taco. We also enjoyed a shrimp taco combo. I always pass by and see long lines so, I decided to make a stop and try it out. I tried it and wasn't a big fan. Got a taco shrimp there was more cabbage than shrimp the sauce was delicious the shrimp was little but flavorful however a lot of batter than anything. I also got shrimp ceviche small , it was a solid 5/10 I wish there was more flavor in it but not enough. Love the amount of avocado they placed in it and the shrimps. I would stand by 3/5 still good but nothing for me to wait in line for so long. The service was excellent staff was amazing as well as the organization. The parking lot and exterior is ultra organized so dine in on the left parking lot and online orders to the right side. The management at this establishment is bleak, and the leadership feels nonexistent. I unfortunately had a nasty experience at this place. While eating, I found human hair and other unidentified black particles in my food. It was embedded in the melted cheese on a taco platter. It was plainly gross, to say the least. I called them immediately and explained what happened. The initial conversation was pleasant; the person who answered the call was empathetic and understood the gravity of the situation. They asked me to give them the opportunity to remake the entire order at no cost to me. I asked if I should have some type of confirmation or who I should reach out to. They said my name and order number could be provided to the manager on duty, and they would take care of it. I did not want to go back. My past experiences there have been frustrating, as they are often missing items. The staff seems careless or incredibly overwhelmed. It is a challenge just to get food from there. However, my spouse likes this place, and at her behest, I went back. I asked the staff about the comped order outside, which then turned into being sent inside to speak to someone else. This person was not very articulate and simply stated they could not find any record of the customer service promise. They attempted to send me on my way. I asked to speak to the manager on duty. A very young man came out, probably not older than 20. He was not impolite, but he lacked the words or tools to properly deal with the issue at hand. They essentially implied that I was possibly lying. I had the receipt, the call log, and the notes I took when I spoke with customer service. Despite that, they were unable to help and told me to speak to another manager the next day. At that point, I had enough of this place. I left dumbfounded. I unfortunately had to do a chargeback and opted to file a complaint with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health - Environmental Health Division. I got my money back, but I will never step back into this place. I came here to enjoy myself and have a good time, and this place completely misses that point. The food is great, but I am not convinced they follow proper health and quality standards. I would not recommend it. We stopped in for some of those classic tacos! I've always visited the location in walnut first time branching out and it did not disappoint. Luv the double stacked tortilla for the fish taco. Topped with freshly shaven cabbage and pico de gallo. Green and red salsas give an extra spice. Squeeze that lime for a hit of acidity. Perfect bite. Upon arrival, the parking lot was pretty busy with cars parked infront and at the back but was able to secure a spot at the back without any wait time.
