As an adult, I go from time to time because I don't always have the patience to wander through big box stores for simple, small ticket items. I prefer this Ace Hardware for a few reasons. For starters, they are bigger than most. Not the newest or greatest, but nice none the less. They also have a small but fabulous outdoor garden center with ample flowers, pots and other accessories for your home. The staff here is friendly and helpful. If I have questions, they are quick to help me with finding an item, getting a price check or just helping me in general. This store does offer extra services as well. I think they do phone screen repairs, key cutting, along with other services as well. Plus, the parking here is great, and it's easy in, easy out. Thank you Ace for making life easy! So when I am out and about and find that I need something, I usually check to see if there is an Ace Hardware nearby; and that's how I ended up in this one. We had just put a property under contract to buy and the owner only had one key. We needed at least one spare to put into a lock box hung on the door and drove over here to have one made. It was easy to find and as I went in I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. I asked to get a copy of the key made and was directed to where the machine was and quickly had the spare key made, paid for, and in my hand as I left the store...all in under five minutes. And the best part was the key they made for me fit and worked! As with my local Ace, they were helpful and friendly and quickly got me on my way.

I couldn't find the item I was looking for, and three different employees all offered to help me, but couldn't find the item either. When they had exhausted all of the places it could be, the store manager agreed to give me the next expensive compressor for the price of the one I came in for. And they did t stop there, they even offered to - and did, air up my flat tire for me so I could get home safely before needing to use the compressor I was buying.
